I don't believe that's Aberdeenshire. Looks more like the roads in between Nairn and Ballater. The A939 that goes over The Lecht and down past Tomintoul. It's one of my favourite roads to drive on. Really twisty but with some epic downhill and uphill straight where you can absolutely ring the cars neck (all at 60mph of course)
For what it's for, it does nothing better than the E63s estate, which is much cheaper, just as fast in the real world and much more practical. With the same tires it would do a super laptime too.
I own a GT63 S and I can tell you’re full of shit, this is literally one of the best cars AMG has ever done. The E63 is a sportier version of an E-Class, this is a 4 seater GTR.
you are forgetting one very important thing: RUNNING COST. if you can easily afford it, treat yourself mate. i have seen a lot of people buying cars for cheap and then not beeing able to maintain them. i mean how much can it cost to repair a 30 thousand euro cl 65? A LOT, as it turns out.

Not that it is any of my business, but I don't understand Carfection's business case. They have a decent amount of subscribers but with an average ad revenue of €3000 per million views (best case scenario), how an earth can you pay an entire crew of road testers and cameramen with that revenue? I would be inclined to think they have a rich dude sponsoring, who can't stand vloggers making videos of every turd they produce, and who wants decent car journalism and good quality content instead. Not hating in any form or way; i love these guys. Just don't understand how it is financially possible to do what they do.

I couldn't' agree more. BMW is doing the same thing with M and it'd diluting their hardcore branding by mass producing their top tier performance cars. Audi is the only one who has figured out you need to seperate the badging, as everyone knows an RS is far different than it's base companion.

Hardly any comments about how stunning the scenery is!!!! Look at it it's breathtaking, then add the car to it and it looks even better! Scotland is by far the most beautiful country on earth. No hate to any other country, but you just cannot compete with Scotland in terms of sheer beauty. Even their people are awesome.
If you live in America Cadillac is the way to go. At $85,000 or a 600 HP Cadillac that is just as luxurious makes more sense but sadly not available in Europe for people.

The fact of the matter is that people nowadays prefer luxury SUVs over luxury sedans. Selling this car is akin to selling flip phones in today's day and age.
Carfection = superb automotive videos, very nice car and its looks the part and does well, i would still have the E63S wagon over this mainly for the reason wagons are just more cool to me, especially when Mercedes builds them and the 4 matic in Canadian winters just makes driving that safer and better, cheers
So just like the CLS, the GT63s is just another car based on the E-class/E63s. I would prefer that Mercedes would make an black series version of the E63s rather than this.

Ive seen this car for the last few weeks park outside my uncles house. Its belongs to a friend of his, not in this spec but its absolutely gorgeous to look at. Always wonder what I was looking at. Even used his number plate to look it up but it wouldnt tell me.

This is one of the most beautiful car videos I've seen and I'm including the JC era Top Gear in that. I think this car looks stunning from the side and rear, but the front is just hideous. I'd much rather have the E63, which looks way better and is just as good.
I saw this in Blackpool of all places and visibly gasped at its shape. The presence this has on the road trumps the E63, it looks like it’s sidekick in comparison.
