You can put all the medieval stuff in a theme park area to make a medieval theme park - have to be clever with the roads to prevent people from getting in for free.
A thought for your universities: a lot of universities I’ve seen has a few small neighborhoods surrounding them, in the city I’m building I downloaded a district theme that uses only the buildings from the university content creator pack, and scattered those throughout my University area, so now I have houses that look like fraternity/sorority houses and other student housing and apartments around my university for my students to live other than dorms.
Here’s the workshop link for the theme. It requires another mod or setting or two to work properly, but I think it could definitely fill out your university nicely. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1747800340
you need to get the mod that allows you to toggle on and off zoning for roads. you can turn of zoning for roundabout roads so that roads around it can have cleaner zoning.
@@SnakeMichael How do you prevent campus from burning down? Firefighters don't go on my campus paths despite Janitor buildings and fire buildings everwhere! Only my helicopter work but they're SO expensive :(
How to use the other side of the platform: The game automatically chooses the platform on the right side if the roads are right-hand drive to avoid as much track switching as possible. For example, if the train is travelling on the right track, it will also use the right track at the station. To use the other platform at a station, for example the central station, start your line there and then add a stop at the next station. This stop should use the right platform, so the platform used at the central station will also be on the right side when looking from the station entrance, so it will be on the opposite side from the other train lines. Hope that helped
With the "Advanced Stop Selection" mod (formerly MTSE) you should be able to select any platform you want in a multi-platform station, unless there's a bug with that particular asset.
Not entirely sure if our mods are too different but I think you could hit SHIFT to switch, that worked for me. Maybe try that? But just starting there makes sense, too of course!
Looking good as ever. And apparently the currency unit is called the "cell". Which is a tad bland, chirps would have perhaps been better. Personally I think the Teaville currency is "cups" 😁
You *can* play it on a potato (I got by on 8gb ram for several years until I upgraded), but you're going to want to keep DLC to 2 or 3 max and skip the majority of custom assets (keep it at a few hundred at most or make sure to get lower poly assets) as well as keep LOD and texture quality low. Also worth noting that some mods like the traffic manager can be very heavy to run depending on your settings, so you'll need to curate your mod list carefully.
Putting the industrial statue at the entrance of an industrial area might be cool, make that a bit dramatic looking, maybe for some mining area? And maybe the modern park would go nicely with the hightech wobly area besides this new area? Makes it look less planted.. the gateway arch, might be a nice landmark near the water, near the canal area? Just some ideas..
At the end screen, you put the road on the left side of the roundabout the wrong way. There are 2 ways in and 3 ways out. Overall love the Teaville series, keep it up!

Those train stations could be connected by their metro stations as they're both Metro-Monorail-Train hubs. That would save people going round the entire monorail loop just to get from one to the other!
The station in which you start the line, starts at the platform heading in that direction. If you want to use the opposite platforms in the central train station ,you need to start there(at central station) for the line to oak hills.

Also, I had a small hope that you were gonna put the Eden Project inside a little roundabout custom made to fit the round exterior of the building. Love your work, keep calm and make Tea-junctions XD

Wonderful stuff! That area is coming together nicely. 😊 I did notice that one of the asymmetrical roads coming into the roundabout was t the wrong way round, with three lanes coming off the roundabout and two coming on. I will say that the pedestrian bridge builder mod continues to impress. 🙂
With land values so high and so many rich people in your city of The Rich, you could possibly raise taxes slightly and I don't think it will make a difference to the population.
If you want to use the other train platforms, you have to start from there. It places stops on the correct side for travel, in this case the right, so it starts and stops on the right, and when finished it then changes after the last stop to go back on the other side. Give it a try.
There's a building editor mod you can get. it allows you to add "spawn points"...i've got a few stations in my city where i've used the mod to "fix" those stations. now, trains use both sides of the track, in both directions.
I would actually like to see you do something like this on a PS4 for once. Every time I watch your content I keep getting amazed by how easy building is on PC. In general the PC version is easier with the mods off course but building just seems especially easy.
I have about 1000 hours in Cities:Skylines but my Steam review is negative because without mods the game is unplayable garbage. I pity console players.
At 6:00 the 2/3 lane road points in the wrong direction. (And the monorail at the station still needs fixing.) Otherwise I wonder if there are houses specially designed to be build at steep hills in the game, with a side that goes lower than the other one, and which is always facing downhill. They might look good in that area.
You should consider putting a small firefighter and medical clinic near the new farm and warehouses you built last episode, it would be there in case of emergency.
@ 5:45 You really shouldn't need asymmetric roads on your connections to your roundabout. You don't want cars turning left or going straight ahead at a roundabout T junction, all the traffic has to turn right onto the roundabout. So there's no need for dedicated turning lanes, which is the usual reason for having an asymmetric road. You also don't want traffic turning into all lanes of a three lane roundabout, at least, you shouldn't. You should reserve at least one lane of the roundabout for through traffic. With one lane reserved for through traffic, that leaves two lanes for right turns. Magically, you also have two lanes coming off, so the lane mathematics works out just fine with two lane symmetric roads connecting to a three lane roundabout.
I think that in the downtown area if tea I’ll you should add a really tall building from the steam workshop or you can move HCC to the downtown and it will become a huge tourist destination
To use the other platform (A), start the line at the main station. If you start the line elsewhere, it'll use the platform (B) that the other lines use.
You can use the other side of the platform, but I think the train would need to come from the other direction. I usually do this with metro so that 2 lines can stop in 1 station without disrupting each other, never tried it with trains though
Biffa, you know that train station that you can't put a stop on the other side of platform. Try and start the line from that station. As in my vanilla play through, if I want to start a route at that station so that I can make sure it's actually on the side a I want
I love your videos but the market square looks kinda out of place near those high rise offices, it would be cool to see the square in a medieval themed village near TeaVille.
I'm not sure if there would be much of a following. I've been watching your past "PlanetBase" videos, and it would be cool to see you play it again. The frantic changes that would occur and hearing your reactions were amazing.
Hey Biffa, regarding your lane mathematics: Wouldn't it be more realistic to add a lane before a lane departs (one or two nodes before) and, likewise, add a lane after a lane joins (only for two nodes)? That's how it is in real life with highway exits and entrances and still gives everyone a separate lane.
Looking good, Biffa! 👍 When are you going to place the Space Center? I want to see some rockets taking off! 😆 I have an idea name for the rockets: The Tea Rex 1, 2, etc. The center could be called The Teapot Top! 😆 Looking forward to seeing more, thanks...

Biffa, you know that train station that you can't put a stop on the other side of platform. Try and start the line from that station. As in my vanilla play through, if I want to start a route at that station so that I can make sure it's actually on the side a I want
One of the European themes go well with the old market
You need a platform picker/multi platform mod to pick the other side of the platform, if you have it I think it’s Shift to select the other platforms.
Best part of the day is waking up and drinking a cup of coffee (shop is out of tea lol) and watching some biffa building
When Biffa misinterprets the "green city" expression
I love your videos but the market square looks kinda out of place near those high rise offices, it would be cool to see the square in a medieval themed village near TeaVille.
Put a police precinct next to the business park, It's a crime magnet. Also you forgot services.
I'm not sure if there would be much of a following. I've been watching your past "PlanetBase" videos, and it would be cool to see you play it again. The frantic changes that would occur and hearing your reactions were amazing.
Biffa, while using the multi-platform station if you are coming from the other direction then you will be able to use the other side of the platform
I love the video! Thanks for all the tips on how to make a better city! : )
Didn't know the teaden Project was that good! Love your vids!
Thanks! Jan Lukas :-)
Loving the new area, are you gonna develop the fancy islands?
I would love to see different themes in different areas so a European, American, Asian, etc that would be fun and cool
Biffa still hasn't realized that the prerequisites have prerequisites of their own.
Not sure yet :-)
