This game looks incredible. I know it’s been over a decade since poe was first playable but man it’s insane to see how far GGG has come. I can’t get over how good the visuals are
man just realised how much fun it will be to have so many newcomers get into PoE and make their opinions and reviews and stuff without the context of poe1 clinging behind them, always a blast to watch/read/listen to

I've tried PoE1 after the D4 open beta. I had a feeling that Blizzard was trying to sell me a shit in a candy wrapper. The future has shown, my feeling was correct.
So I was never ever saying D4 will crush something. I was playing PoE1 and laughing how horrible D4 is. Have beat T16 Maps in PoE.
I think the only noob here is you. How can a person with basic knowledge about gaming industry not seeing the coolness of PoE 2?

@staskozak8118 I think people are using the wrong word here. It isn't easier, it's more intuitive. In poe 1 the info is easy to understand, but you have to find it and that is a mess. What it looks like so far is that the info is presented to you far better, and you can learn the systems better because the info is more accessible.

Ok having a Bell Monk from D3 in PoE 2 makes me happy. God it's going to feel AMAZING to have that "First time playing PoE" feeling againg. Holly fucking shit November cannot come sooner and man am I getting more and more hyped with each week.
Though on the Co-op thing - we are PoE players. We don't have friends. Like - c'mon now.

Pretty new to PoE played up to level 4 back when it came out. Just started playing it again along with Diablo IV to find a good ARPG for me and my friends, loving both of them but really excited for PoE 2 providing more simplicity, better graphics, better sound design, cross-play support and wasd movement.
I am someone who hates WASD + keybinds since I get my fingers all twisted. When I first tried out WoW it was rough, and, like you, the MMO mouse did not feel right to me. I ended up buying a Razer Tartarus gaming keypad, which is essentially a half keyboard for your left hand but has a joystick for your thumb. This felt incredible to use and it what I plan on playing PoE 2 with. Definitely recommend checking it out for anyone who gets their fingers twisted trying to hit keybinds with WASD like me.
Razer Tartarus is great. Lately I recommend the Azeron Cyborg as the truely better device. True analog stick, with better keys and quality. I've bought and broken 3 different Razer Tartarus in the same amount of time I've had my cyborg now without issue. Really excited to play poe2 with it.

I hope they show us higher level gameplay/maps at some point. The campaign/leveling part can be the best ever, the only thing that can keep me playing for more than 10k hours like PoE 1 did is the endgame.
As for me co-op is the best form for social gameplay for PoE 2. Don't like playing party in PoE 1 but co-op with friend is so much fun! Poe 2 will be amazing game!

I'm stoked to be able to play with my friends who currently (not unreasonably) think poe 1 will take 10's-100's of hours to get the hang of and is a grindy game, so it prevents them from trying it!

Still on the fence about WASD. Going to need to setup a lot of alternative keybinds to play WASD. A lot of "e" "alt e" "control e" etc... Reminds me of playing WoW.

I love that they add couch coop to PC. Just recently my brother visited me (also a non gamer) and we wanted to play something. Diablo 4 came to mind but while i own a ps5, i have the game on pc and no ps+. So my option was to buy it again on ps5 and the ps+ abo to enable another brother to join us. We ended up watching a movie instead.

that is exactly what i heard. makes sense, otherwise you would just support everything with the same stuff and it would be boring imo
@@a2daj83 Jeah, it looks like thats gonna be the big limiting factor with gems. There are plenty of no brainer's that you put on most of your utility skills otherwise. Now instead of not having enough socket space, you have to decide where your Enhance and Increased duration goes.

I don't like that support gems are unique but will wait and see how they handle it. Something like added lightning damage was important in lightning damage builds where you used more than one ability. PoE1 generally had very limited supports for whatever you were doing that actually was impactful, be it damage over time, ranged attack, melee, etc... we generally went to the same cookie cutter supporters largely because the others were mostly garbage. I don't think the answer is making them unique, the answer is to have a lot of good choices rather than just a few.
I think the generic weakness of PoE1 support gems is they for the most part are mostly just number padding, so the biggest number was the best, you just plugged it in PoB and whicheve rnumber was bigger was your best support gem. I think they could have got around this by having more secondary benefits to support gems that weren't numerically the best for damage, like adding a projectile or proccing some other effect. If the design is overly simple (and supports were) then it just devolves to min/maxing.

I think I'll always prefer keyboard, but I don't understand why everyone uses wasd. For games with a lot of buttons, esdf or rdfg are way better

Dont use an MMO mouse, use a logi g502 X, best of both worlds. 5 side buttons in distinctive places makes for a mouse I will never switch off of.

Thats good you can stick to keyboard and mouse. Controller is only an option. You also dont have to do wasd and can stick with click move. Its your choice lol
I'm thrilled that it's having 2p local co-op, I'm just worried about always online... I know it's a 'me' problem more than a universal one, but I wish they could sell an offline patch or something and segregate it or whatever but allow me to play without worrying about it. Or more servers in various locations in East Asia...

Personally i absolutely HATE the camera movements compared to PoE 1... i hope that doesnt stay. In general there's a lot of weird ass things i am not much of a fan of, just seems like it's a childish/dumb down version of an elite game and I'm pretty disappointed... I'll have to wait till beta and release to really know how I feel but that's what i'm getting from watching all these videos people are posting

i have 2 gripes at the moment. Dodge Rolling move doesnt fit all the class fantasies equally well. It fits say a warrior or a monk, but necromancer or elementalist? no thanks. So i wish every class had their own dodge rolling ability. and second is i fear its gonna be a lawnmower fest like poe 1 down the line in later acts
It will, probably. After all it's an ARPG. If you don't like the fast pace, try play it on SSF

I wish its not gonna happen. But I will try the game regardless. Alrdy supported the devs with some store purchases.
@@victorc1462 they already acknowledge that this is a big problem in PoE1 (visual clarity). The solution could be less monsters with higher life but don't kid yourself, the endgame for the top tier builds will be fast

Almost certainly wont be but chances are youll be able to zoom through that part and then skip whatever end game maps with them later.

hope they remove all spiders, lizards, snakes, any kind of scary animal really, all the blood (i can't stand blood), loud noises, creepy noises, large bodies of water, well - all bodies of water really, i'm really scared of water, all fish (fish scary), all weapons (weapons make me feel unsafe), all dirt and filth (i hate germs), hmmm what else should they remove for my convenience..?
