On May 19th 2020 I had a hemorrhagic stroke which left me with aphasia, hemiparesis on right side, brain surgery and left in I.C.U. I'm diagnosed with FTD. It presents as a stroke with speech, weakness of left side, in motorized wheelchair, brace AFOs. The works. PT, OT and speech therapy several times a week. I cannot leave the house without help. I feel imprisoned in my own home. I hear and see you. ❤

Hi! I miss driving, I used to drive everywhere,anytime. I miss being independent. Post stroke, I’ve been needing assistance from family and friends. My husband is great but I feel guilty sometimes. You are not alone! I love you vid about crocheting. I love cooking and plants and traveling.

My God i don't know how you came to my suggestions but am i ever so greatful. I hope ypu read this and that we can share stories. I had an occipital lobe stroke in February of this year that has robbed me of mozt of my vision. I feel exactly how you feel. Isolation, depression, anger, anxiety and just adking why why why. God put you in my feed for a reason. We have alot in common and i really need a friend who can relate. Please reach out to me. Hang in there. There may be only 2 of us but you are not alone.
