Usually when someone reads something to me, I can't process a single word, but I really enjoyed your reading! You have such a calming voice and a great pace when reading. I have been diagnosed pretty recently with adhd (Nov 2021 at 28 years) and since I started taking medication for it, I felt that there is something else, I just knew it. I startet researching autism and while it was pretty hard to navigate all the information, I am incredibly greatful for women like you who have TH-cam channels just to teach about autism. Channels like yours have made it so easy for me to really understand some autistic traits that are often written so confusing or vague, that I'm amazed anyone can even self diagnose. I am more than open with my diagnosis and I am deeply grateful that I have amazing friends and just the best mom, who puts so much effort into our relationship (although that didn't save me from gnarly comments from a few people). So, now that I made myself cry while writing this, I'll leave it at that. Thank you so much and I hope you know that the work you do is so so so important to people like me. 💖
I really enjoyed this, thank you! I think it would be a good idea to have the author's (Jenara Nerenberg) name in the title of your film so her work is properly credited :)
That book is on my list. You are such a treasure. ❤ Just diagnosed last month at 56 YO. So much to unpack. Really get a lot out of your podcast 🙏🙏🙏 Here’s a book I am reading now and loving, hope it’s okay to share: Autism Feels, An Earthling's Guide, by Orion Kelly
I love the concept and your execution of reading us the book❤ I have been diagnosed with ADHD when I was little and in the last few years the idea that I might be on the autism spectrum kind of sticked with me. Even if I'm not your videos and those of creators like you have been really helpful to identify symptoms and traits that I always thought were flaws of mine. Even though I was diagnosed when I was 7, I still think that I wasn't aware/told of everything that wasn't directly focus related. I don't want to be ungrateful or blame my parents because they didn't know any better and may also be neurodivergent, but those symptoms where big struggles which affected not only me but the whole family. Like my food sensetivities where a really big problem each meal and I was never told it could be because of my ADHD, so I felt like it was my fault for not being able to eat stuff, even though I wasn't allergic. I can't imagine my Mom didn't know it was a thing and with the stuff I know now I think that maybe she knew and didn't tell me because she didn't want me to overidentify and limit myself. Sorry for oversharing😅 The book reminded me of that. Thank you for the video
I came out of my trance for the book Heidi. Then the next year I manifested a best friend named Heidi, she moved down the road from me for 2 years. We are all cocreating and we create our own proof. Emotions are quantum mechanisms, all physical life is made out of emotional frequencies. Negative energy is gravity(holes), compassion is the strings, love and gratitude are Bubbles. We are all made of holes Bubbles and strings, everything that exists is 1 body.
Thank you for reading this chapter! I might get the audiobook. You should read Unmasking Autism is you haven’t already - it’s another great one 😊 thank you for your content, it makes me feel very seen as a recently diagnosed person. ❤
i really love this thank you! it sounds so natural like you are just talking rather than reading. do you have more book recommendations about neurodiversity?
Although I don't typically use social media comment sections, I wanted to let you know that I've been having a lot of trouble getting up to study for school. However, since I started watching your videos, I've discovered a lot about myself and how your voice actually helps me concentrate on my work 😂.
Hey, this was delightful and moving, thank you. Another book I happened to start reading recently may resonate for some people, even though the story does not focus on neurodivergence, specifically. ( Many experiences of feeling different, as well as connections between people, are explored in Gabrielle Zevin's fictional story, "Tomorrow And Tomorrow And Tomorrow.) It weaves human psychology, gaming, friendship, and resilience.
I do not know how you did this but I was in a bookstore earlier today and just spontaneously bought this book and then this video is the second thing in my home feed! What the heck is happening?
10/10 would listen to your podcast
yeah me too!!
Same, a podcast would be fantastic

Loved your reading! A teacher read to us youngsters in school. Fond memories. Please read the whole book!!!❤😊
