I was born in 1990 and always remember waking up hearing my dad play his guitar. He is now 72, had the worst and most harsh tests in life that you can imagine and he still plays everyday. Wow! All I could suggest is to place a piece of felt at the return of the "B" Bender surround on the upper bout of that most beautiful Dove, thus eliminating the annoying clunk every time the strap rod returns to zero. Just a thought.

I was just commenting on Record Store Day that hearing this song on Rubber Soul as a little kid made me want to play guitar... and since that album (North American Version) was a response to the folk and country music of the States, your version captures all the elements including the Soul! And the B-Bender is used with taste, and it doesn't sound gimmicky... more like using a voice!
Hi there Nathaniel, my wife and I stumbled upon you yesterday watching a video on TH-cam about some cat coming to the exchange to look for a Les Paul, your favourites were the top line one in from the left and two more in the Center bottom area in from the left. Anyways, you all chose some and picked one of what you said to be one of your favourite amps and went downstairs into a cool private room to have them try the selections. You then showed them the b-bender and honestly my wife and I are both bass players and we’re blown away with your playing and just loved you! How you incorporate bass techniques and piano techniques it’s really beautiful. You played an arrangement you had been working out on the b-bender for Kashmir and we thought what you had done with it was phenomenal and we both wanted to ask since you stopped and said “I’m not going to play the whole thing, we’d all have to sit down as it’s five minutes” which was hilarious but we REALLY would love to sit down for that five minutes please kind sir and watch and listen to what you’ve done with Kashmir. Pretty please would you kindly shoot a video of it on the Doce b-Bender for Bonnie and Joshua, bassists from Canada? Nothing would make us happier to watch that and for how much I love music and my wife, would you maybe consider dedicating it to her as she absolutely fell for it and your playing? You are more than an amazing guitarist, your talent is like non other, you are very gifted. If they have a major league guitarist (like major league baseball) you'd be the all time best player. We are amazed how play all the different parts ( rhythm, bass, drums, melody like the guitar is singing the words, and lead riffs) all at the same time. We are also amazed on how you memorized all of those songs. We are in total awe

I've never gushed in written word before but I've just come across your stuff and your translations from original to a single guitar are so nuanced and beautiful it made me weepy.
