There are many series I want to get into in 2021, to mention some: scythe, Renegades, Young Elites, Shadowhunters (whole saga), An ember in the ashes, etc....many others, but I think those are my top....
Omg read The Infernal Devices series (part of Shadowhunters saga). I just finished the trilogy in 4 days and OML it's the best ever!!! The Renegades series is also sooo fucking good.
The Renegades series is really good. Once I finished the first one I immediately picked up the second one and now I plan to reread them. Hopefully you enjoy them as much as I did.
The Frederik Backman book is amazing! I read it with my entire family, and we all did it at the same time, and we could not stop talking about it for weeks!
The Knife of Never Letting Go is absolutely amazing!! I basically inhaled the writing because of how gripping and good it was! Plus, I am so excited for the movie because Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley are literally my favourite actors and they are playing the leads to the movie adaption of one of my favourite books😁 So glad this is on your tbr!!
The chaos walking trilogy is my absolute favorite series! I'm so glad people are finally talking about it now that the trailer came out. I hope you enjoy it! :D
if you're looking for some long fantasy series definitely look for the septimus heap books by angie sage! i remember reading them when I was younger and I still think about them a LOT
I’m hoping to get to Simon vs. The Homosapiens Agenda, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Spy Camp, Fangirl, and Nevermoor in 2021. I have an ever growing TBR for next year, but these are the ones I’m most excited for!!
I’m shocked you don’t have Us Against You (Beartown #2) on your list!! You should definitely read that one it’s also amazing! I’m excited to see you added City of Brass-I loved that book, but like you, have the struggle to keep going in a series even when I loved book one! 🤦🏼♀️ That’s one of my goals too this year is continuing and finishing series I’ve started!
The shadow of the wind is so good, but you should REALLY pay attention to it while read it bc there's soo many characters. Hope you like it as much as I did! And The starless sea is one of my faves of 2020 :)
Our Dark Duet was SO good! I read both of them back to back and loved them! The Starless SEa is one of my favorite books I have heard this year, and I hope you enjoy it too. It is totally strange but really beautiful!
I struggled through My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She's Sorry, but I loved A Man Called Ove and Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman! Hope you enjoy The Shadow of the Wind, it's one of my favourites!
Omg I love your videos!! I’m planning on reading 35 books in 2021 which I know isn’t a lot, but what can a slow reader do lol... I’m planning on finishing the ACOTAR Series by the of March and reading all of my shorter books! :))
Yeah, same, fantasy is my favorite genre, it's like woven into my entire being. I'm planning on finally reading the Shadow & Bone trilogy, because the show is coming to Netflix in April, I'm sure I'm going to love it.
The Golden Compass is one of my all time favorite books! It definitely is NOT a children’s story. I found myself quickly immersed in this world and this series and found it to read very New Adult with the writing style and themes it addresses. I hope you read the series before watching the movie or show bc they don’t do the books justice. Just stay away from the prequel bc that book was terrible. Lol and I just binge read the entire Ember in the Ashes series in 9 days and it was amazing!! So fast paced and unexpected and the last 3 books were non stop!
READ PLEASE!!! I think you would love The Land Of Stories by Chris Colfer!!! It is about these kids who get stuck in a fairytale land and to get home that have to get every fairytale’s most prized possession!! (Like Cinderella’s glass slipper) I know you will love it!! It is funny and Red Riding Hood is my favorite character!!😍😂
I love how it increases every year, so just imagine in like 2050 itll be 50 books😂
These are all great picks!! I hope you’re able to get to them all, especially the Shadow of the Wind 🥺🥺
Ahh thanks Liv!! 🤗 I hope I can too lol!
You should definitely read "The House in the Cerulean Sea". It is a wonderful book💖💖💖
