Thanks for the video! I have a plan to replace the psychic goblins later in the adventure with Skaven from Warhammer... one of my players loves them and I think they are a little bit creepier and more formidable than goblins. The idea of them coming "from below" to try and get pieces of this obelisk feels like a nod to their warpstone obsession

do you think the players shouls level up after some of the quest in the spiders web chapter as opposed to at the end of the chapter? cause it seems like it was quite spaced out compared to the last two level ups in chapter 1 and 2 with them being relativliy short compared to chapter 3

Yes it would be an option because they feel rewarded then and it makes them a little sturdier to throw things at.
On the other hand it’s good to have pc’s die and have them have a scene where they are granted resurrection by a godly being they now have to follow or do quests for. Additionally they might be forever changed by coming back allowing for the character to change the personality and goals for themselves.

this was one of my first challenges as a player. My party was standard 6 people. After we emptied the castle, I had my guild rebuild it. It's in a good location and the area around it made for decent farming. It was used more as a midway resting area outside of the eyes of any city.
I really like the goblin machine idea. I will be using it in a campaign I am the dungeon master for. Thank you for these videos.
