Nice video. I like that you included the learning point about the 1st burner being too small…..most might have left that out. Any idea of the BTU of the second burner?
Can we get some stats? What kind of wax are you using? How much does it take to submerge the boxes? How much wax does it take to do x amount of hives? Love the video by the way very interested new bee keeper here.
Nice set up.... just THINKING ... can you imagin if you have a sudden small Earthquake in the state nearby... THIS tank full of HOT Liquid will fall down... with a tragic consequences! In my opinion : I would dig 2 holes at the back of it and poure a concrete in them and erect 2 steel posts there. ... (* like a fencing posts ) and just tied down your tank onto them ... with a steel rope or some wire or Strong Screws... etc etc .. So... in case if any shaking or movements of any form hit your tank ... The TANK will stay secured and still. 🥣🥣🥣 💭💭💭💭💭.
@@Ashby_Farms_NC lol.. Well... maybe 👍😂. ... that saved my life ...as I predicted war in Croatia 91. then war in Bosnia 92. and again war in Serbia 95... so ... I moved 3 times just weeks before blody fighting. 💭💭💭💭🥣💭💭💭. ... "Predicting " and " Overthinking " might be simmilar ... to some. extent.
you've left no stone unturned it seems...i enjoy learning from your videos...thank you
I’m glad I can help. I just try to imagine if I was getting started, what would have helped me, and make content about that
Looks like you are rocking an rolling on them . What a great setup. Thanks
Thanks for the complement. There's a few more updated videos about the wax tank on our page
Nice job, enjoyed the info, keep them coming.
That's a nice tank! Great setup. Thanks for sharing 🐝✌
Thanks for your support!
Great video!! What kind of steal is that?
It’s stainless. The outside of the tank is an old HVAC duct (I think) from the scrap yard.

Unfortunately no I dont. I've made some additional videos from this year. Updated info, Insulation, spill/boil overs, etc. Thanks for watching!

Watch my other video "Tips/tricks for wax dipping bee hive equipment". Let me know if you have anymore questions! Thanks for your interest!
Where do you purchase your paraffin and microcrystalline?
Clarus Wax products. HQ in SC, but the wax ships from Dallas, TX
Hope you’ll do horizontal video on your next go.
Yes I'm a rookie, but learning. It'll get better. Thanks for your support!
