Do you want to walk better and climb stairs easier? Great, then we need to improve the strength in each of your legs independently. And we will do it in a way that simulates stair climbing.
As you do this exercise, it’s super important to focus on the following:
1. Lean forward to load the glute.
2. Push down through the middle of your foot to activate your leg muscles.
3. Keep your abs in and spine straight.
4. Lock your lat on the side that is holding on to a fixed object.
As you step up, drive through your glute, lift your chest, and settle on top of the step.
NOTE: start with a SMALL STEP that is easy for you to do and then incrementally increase step height as you feel more confident with the exercise.
Have fun with this one, it is an amazing leg strengthener.

Great workout but I don't have enough lift in either leg to do a step.
Yes, this workout is not for everyone. Please check out other videos on this site. I’m sure there are several that can work for you
I'm like you. If they have a sitting exercise that can somehow help work those muscles that would be ideal.
Ich freue mich RIESIG ihre Seite per Zufall entdeckt zu haben! 😊🎉🎉🎉
that video addresses some really good points. I can't believe how much muscle mass has been lost in the left side of my bum and my left hamstring. I can't lift using my left hamstring at all. It is void. The only way I can exercise it is by lying on my belly and activating my left hamstring to lift my lower left leg.
This video downsizes the load and focuses on strengthening another big part of walking stronger.
Thank you for all you do and have a good day
Thank you as always for the great information 💖
Getting up onto an aerobics step will be difficult. On the stairs I have to turn my knee inwards then kick my heel up so I am using my calf to get up onto the step, then wiggle my foot to straighten it before pulling up the other leg.
I don’t like to say I can’t but I can’t move my right leg
❤❤❤
