Dear Coco, I have never left a comment here before. I am subscribed for a few years and have always enjoyed your occasional content. However, with quarantine seemingly winding down, I feel compelled to say something. Your daily contribution to my life has had an impact. The stories, the knickknacks, the nostalgia, have all combined to create a calming, inspirational and truly moving experience. John Krasinski has created something similar with his Some Good News show and has apparently turned it into a very lucrative enterprise. It can't go unsaid that you have done the same thing almost entirely with voiceover and a fraction of the audience. Brilliant work over the past two months. Love you...
I also have to chime in here. I completely agree with all of the above, especially the prospect of turning this into something bigger. Coco you've got a genuine quality which is sorely needed right now in people lives, the more people who have the opportunity to see you the better. Go get it girl, you deserve it all and then some.
I'm from Galicia, and thank you so much for your comment on Spain is more than Barcelona. Galicia is the most beautiful part of my country and yet, we get so little recognition

I think this was one of my most favourite tchotchkes that you've shown us. What a fascinating memory to have. I think it's so much fun that you're able to print out all these little places to us. And what a lovely piece of craftsmanship. It has really sparked my interest in visiting Spain my son had planned a trip as well that he had to cancel. He asked me to let you know that he definitely sympathizes and understands in your frustration over not being fully reimbursed. The same thing happened to him. They also kept him on hold and we're constantly reminding him that he should be understanding because it was a struggle for everyone. Maybe he was talking to the same person. LOL big hugs
Oh Miss Coco that’s so special! My partner Steve has been climbing frequently in Galicia (his favourite part of Spain) and wants to buy a house for us to retire to there one day! It’s so magical there he’s told me. He wants to take me to see the mountains and the fishing villages there after the pandemic is over. We are Welsh (from Wales UK) so Celtic in our soul and Steve has an affinity for Galicia ... I’m so happy that you have this connection with your hubby! Just perfect! Coco, I loved this! Isn't Spain just magical? I went to Catholic high school (hated it) for 2 years with a boy named Francisco Lugo. He was Spanish, but had never been to Spain. I got there in 1969 at a very tender age and fell in love with all the good looking men. Lordy, do I want to go back to Spain! Keep 'em coming, Coco; You make this old queen's day.

Thank you for sharing this! I started researching Lugo and Galicia (and discovered a little bit about the history along with the languages spoken). Having lived in Mexico for a few years (a long time ago), I know how awesome it is to immerse yourself in another culture; it changes you forever. It was your destiny! Actually, I wanted to go immediately to that little park and sit there drinking a coffee! Hope your shoulder starts to ease up soon.

Miss Coco, I am a fan, I want you to know that my great great grandfather came from Lugo and ended up in El Salvador in around 1860 where I grew up. I live in Los Angeles now, I have a lot of stories of four brothers that traveled together from Lugo to El Salvador .

I wonder if people can get up there." Soon after, you mentioned its access. Lovely stories, Coco. You've also just now taught me about what makes a bird stop its incessant twittering. Oh. My. God!!! I am soooooo happy for this!! I am from Galicia, I live in Vigo and this is awesome. Galicia is such a beautiful place, full of mysteries, witches (hahaha I loved this part), forests, good food, the ocean... Some cities are more important here in Spain such as Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla... But I wouldn't move elsewhere for the world. You should visit Vigo in winter, our mayor is NUTS and every Christmas time turns Vigo into Santa Claus's village, it's WILD hahaha Love u!!!

@@themisscocoperu Not anymore, I moved to Vigo (Pontevedra) when I was 13, since my mother was born here! But my sister still lives there and sometimes I go visit her :)
