That was my first thought lol that made me laugh sooooo hard the first time I seen that seen (seen the whole movie which is a great one for my time ) hilarious
I graduated HS in 1999, I got the courage to come OUT and “Trick” was one of the first gay films I had ever seen! It brings back such beautiful memories of getting to watch it and that time I was finally getting the chance to be my authentic self. Thank you for capturing my heart then, our beloved Miss COCO! 😘
I've made these stories/thoughts part of my pre-bedtime ritual now. I turn off the TV, take a couple of hits off the bong, and listen to/watch Miss Coco...... it relaxes me and helps put this crazy world into perspective, even if only for a short time (at least I fall asleep with a smile on my face). Thank you so much for these. They are priceless, and so are you. XO from Baltimore.
The fulcrum of choice is so real and I appreciate that Coco mentions it here. I met and committed to my life with my now husband in Los Angeles in 1987 even while I was a young 26 year old planing to return home after withdrawing from law school. The lesson for me is clear that there are times in our lives when we make choices that lay out the roads we will hence forth travel. This means that new and attractive things we may never thought of will be presented; yet on the other hand we may miss things we may have otherwise experienced had we simply stayed our course. This is the conundrum of life, but I can tell you from experience that choosing the safety of what you know against the potential unknown will lead to a life of regret. Thank you Coco for another installment for your hard-earned and yet loving insight.
Trick was my introduction to Coco Peru, to drag queens and to gay love in a cinematic story in general. And what an epic introduction it was! I could listen to you talk about Trick forever, as it’s so close to my heart. Thanks for sharing, this really cheered me up. Stay safe, Coco. One day I will meet you and I will be able to thank you in person. Social-distance hugs to you from Norway x
Hi Miss Coco! I love that dress, so sparkly, looks like a million stars in the sky ! You're so sweet to share these stories to put a smile on our faces every day, take care and stay safe, hugs from Orange County, CA 💞💞💞
What a GORGEOUS dress!!!!!!! I wish you could do these daily stories for forever!!! I so look forward to them💗💗💗💗! Thank-you for shareing sweetheart. Again I just love you🌹
My first experience ever of seeing Miss Coco and I've been a huge fan ever since. And so many years later I was so lucky to be able to go to the taping of the episode of Will and Grace (Grace's Secret) that you were in with my Mom when we were in LA. It was truly a answered prayer. To go to a taping of Will and Grace and it be one of the best episodes ever of the series and to also have Miss Coco Peru be in it !!! #blessed.
Coco explained in her show on Logo that Tori Spelling changed her hair color to Coco's before filming, and that a lot of people were confusing the two.
When Trick came out, I was living in WeHo and my then partner was a casting director, so we would discuss upcoming talent all the time. When Coco's scene played, we turned to each other in the theater and said "She's going to be big!". You, my dear, are big ❤ Thanks for bringing joy to us all!
Loved Trick, you made the movie! My friend and I loved that you looked so much like antagonistic/friend Tori Spelling and for the main character to run into you at the bar was flawless. XO
I have the soundtrack to Trick and used to make mixtape CD's using your ”It’s Big, It’s Beautiful, and You’re Gonna Love It!” In-between songs. All my friends knew exactly where it was from. Great memories of friends now long gone. 😘
Miss Coco you are a treasure! You don’t need a costume or jewellery to sparkle. Hope you found an alternative to that shockingly overpriced lip medication! 🐨🇦🇺❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
The movie trick is White rock us together. Every since seeing you in that movie I have been a fan. And now after watching your series thoughts while in solitude..... we love you even more. You’ve had such a rich and fulfilling life whether you realize it or not.
Thank goodness you were left in the movie. Like many people, I first discovered Coco Peru when I saw a screening of "Trick" back in 1999. While I enjoyed the movie overall, Coco was hands down the BEST and FUNNIEST part of it, and my friends that went with me to the movie still randomly quote "IT BURRRRNS" to each other. And since then, I've become such a huge fan of Coco's humor, style, and approach to life. We really are our own worst critic, and just think how different SO many people's lives would have been.
I remember seeing Trick as a young gay man in high school. It was on at like 4 am on HBO. It was my first time I had ever seen any gay film with gay characters. And yes, I went around saying, "It burns...." You were awesome in the movie and I think the world needs two hours of Trick stories from Coco. Love you, lady! Thanks for the daily messages and love. Stay safe!
Considering the content of the conversation you and Christian Campbell's character had in that bathroom, it's ironically fitting that you're talking about something burning now. :) You're so right, though. One small choice can make your life go in all kinds of unknown directions. Trick was one of the first movies I ever saw with gay characters. I've been a fan of yours ever since, really. I hope you don't get left with too much of a scar from the cryotherapy. My father had to get a lot of those kinds of things burned off of him, but he was one of the most fair skinned red headed people on Earth, so it was a given, really. Much love!
You are so right ! All my yeses have brought me to today. My life is wonderful. Love you being here during this time, I look forward to your video every day. Thank you ❤️
To me life is like those old “Choose Your Own Adventure” books we would read as kids. You are absolutely right about seeing where certain choices and decisions led down the path to where we all are in our lives. Some decisions are the hardest and most painful but also where we grow the most as people. Other times we chose without a care or second thought and had the best of times! Either way, we are where we are, we are WHO we are and everybody is going to be okay!
Thank you again, Coco. I look forward to these everyday, to watch and to share. I’m getting laughs, gratitude, warmth and wisdom from this series. I loved getting a little backstory dish, about how you got the part in Trick. During a time of many difficult things. These little things, that you’re sharing, are big things to me and many others. ❤️🙏🏻...... 💦👁🔥
OMG! Was living in Cambridge, MA when Trick came out. I had friends over and we watched on VHS! (Sorry, didn't see it in theater.) I was INSTANTLY in love with you from your performance. You rock, and am sorry you felt so badly about your performance but that's life...just when you think you should crawl under a rock and die, your fabulous shows through. xo
I love Trick! Miss Coco’s part MAKES that movie. Nothing so relatable as her monologue...”But Am I bitter? Absolutely.” ...That and Catherine’s melt down over cheese fries. Every time I watch it, I’m finding I’m relating my way through all the characters...all the way through to the waitress at the restaurant😂 Thank You for sharing Miss Coco and stay well ❤️
Dearest Coco, I swear I'm not a stalker, (that notice you got means *nothing*, I swear), but I want to thank you yet again for these chats. I have been terribly sad the last few days, so I did a binge watch, and it helped so much. Sending you and yours loving, healthy and healthy vibes.
I loved this movie. Was in HS and played hockey and rowed. I was shy and quiet... do to being gay and didnt want to be out yet. I did come out a year later in HS. I just loved the fact of the main character being quiet a bit nerdy and connected so much with me. Loved your part. I have forgotten about this movie till you brought it up. Thank you. xo COCO forever.
Ms coco. Stay well K. I can relate , I was a die hard fan of tanning salons and ☀️ baking I’m jus happy your here. So pretty my fav photo of u. Look at that expression
Bain de Soleil...or baby oil...baking til I was deep brown. And now I am 1 year younger than Miss Coco...and I hide from the sun like I hide from the scale
Miss Coco Peru Nothing To Explain We All Know That A Girl's Gotta Go What A Girls Gotta Do. Thnx For A Continued Entertaining Actress And Singing Superstar At Least In My Eyes And Heart. Blessings To You Always To You And Yours. I Love Hearing About Whatever You Want To Share With Us. As Everyone Is Going Through This Pain In The Ass COVID -19 Pandemic Quarantine Together. You Bring Such Joy And Happiness I Have To Admit When It's Gone I Hope That You Will Continue To Entertaining Us. With Much Love And Appreciation For You My Ultimate Beauty Queen.
Hi Coco I'm a transgender woman there in Hollywood CA .I have that movie Coco I love your part it's fabulous🤣. Its reminds me i can be myself 100% and make a difference in someones life
Trick was the first movie I remember seeing you in Coco. I have been a fan of yours ever since. I was in High school when I saw the movie "Trick" and it was so great to see more gay movies being made at that time being a young gay teen then. We have come a long way! :) Such great memories :)
I remember going to the Cineplex Odeon on West 23rd watching Trick by myself because I had just moved to NYC and didn't know anyone yet. I was so thrilled to see a gay romantic comedy in a mainstream theater and it made me feel so validated as a little baby gay boy. I think I quoted this scene for months afterward: th-cam.com/video/DGwS-A351d0/w-d-xo.html Later- I assaulted you at Wigstock and gushed for an embarrassingly long time to you about this or Trick had changed my life as only a 20 year old still trapped in their narcissism can. Definitely one of the little things that was a major milestone in my life. Thanks for reminding me. I hadn't thought of this is years. ☺
Thanks so much for that link J. I had forgotten that scene and most of the movie frankly. I'm about to see if I can stream it somewhere. That scene was done in one shot! Incredible!
Okay, this is special, I got a recognition from Coco. Honestly I really thought my day was going bad, I am trying to become a nurse, it means a $65,000 bill and now I know I can finally say you're wrong for holding me down, I am also important. Coco, you go and dance like that ballerina every little girl deserves. I love you so much and I never met you.
Coco, at this stage in life your dermatologist becomes a best friend. Us white gurls who use to bake in the sun with baby oil are now paying for looking so fab years ago. Be well, take care and God bless you, Coco Peru!
Of all the phrases to be associated with a Queen, "less is more" doesn't spring to mind. 😂 That's what sets you apart and one of the reasons I love your style, however. I agree. And love those bell sleeves! 💗✨
Oh no, you had a sensible ring on and earrings in the movie! I had to rewatch the seen in Trick. I have to say this about skincare - it is surprising how little people STILL know about protecting your skin from UVA & UVB Rays. Also, that dress is gorgeous!
Thank you Coco. I was laid off from work a couple weeks ago and I finally had time to see a doctor. I'm getting some cancer burned off my face on Monday. I'm only 33. The sun is no joke.
If there was a gift basket for the young gay men TRICK would definitely be part of it. It was not only a well told movie about a beautiful story but there YOU were coming through the club singing ...and the “blow Gabriel blow” line ......you were born to entertain. I’m surprised no one has offered you a talk show or a 5 picture deal! Thanks for keeping me laughing till I’m pissing myself
This was all happening when I was at uni in NY! Trick was wonderful and your character made it even more so! I was much more resourceful than those two boys trying to get it in! I miss the Roxy and Sound Factory!
Who else goes loco for some coco!? Give me a thumbs up if you do as well.
It's a good thing that you saved that dress, because some day it's going to be on display in the world's most fabulous museum.
I can’t believe there’s not a comment yet quoting, “It burrrnnns!”
I thought it was funny that Coco started off this video talking about having things burned off her lips and getting her first burn of the summer!
That's because people have to sleep its 2am in my country
NMC21887 Lol, There’s a #ItBurns on the video. 💦 👁 🔥
That was my first thought lol that made me laugh sooooo hard the first time I seen that seen (seen the whole movie which is a great one for my time ) hilarious

Trick is still my favorite “gay” film of all time. 21 years later....
Your comments are so generous and the fact that you take the time to write me means the world to me! xoxoxo
The fulcrum of choice is so real and I appreciate that Coco mentions it here. Your performance in that film is iconic! When I first saw Trick, I knew, I knew, that you would become a Star!!! And there you will always stay.
You were fabulous in "Trick," Ms. Peru- no small parts, indeed.
Trick was my introduction to Coco Peru, to drag queens and to gay love in a cinematic story in general. And what an epic introduction it was! What a GORGEOUS dress!!!!!!! I wish you could do these daily stories for forever!!! I so look forward to them💗💗💗💗! Thank-you for shareing sweetheart. Again I just love you🌹
And sometimes the people we say yes to, are angels bringing us opportunity.🙏thank you CoCo🥰
That bathroom scene in "Trick" was definitely a major highlight of the entire film. You should feel very proud.
Coco, you need to write a book! Seriously. You are such a wonderful storyteller. ❤❤
"Sometimes you just have to say yes" how right you are. Much love 💖
My first experience ever of seeing Miss Coco and I've been a huge fan ever since. God I love that movie!! Watching Trick was almost like a rite of passage! 😂❤️
I LOVE YOU, Ms. Coco!! You are making everyday so much better!!
Adrianne Verry : so very true.
God i am thankful to have had you here everyday of the Lockdown. Its really Appreciated.
When I saw Coco in the bathroom scene in Trick, I swear I thought it was Tori Spelling.
Same! 😅😅
Tori spelling isn't that pretty (SNAP SNAP)
Coco explained in her show on Logo that Tori Spelling changed her hair color to Coco's before filming, and that a lot of people were confusing the two.
When Trick came out, I was living in WeHo and my then partner was a casting director, so we would discuss upcoming talent all the time. When Coco's scene played, we turned to each other in the theater and said "She's going to be big!". You, my dear, are big ❤ Thanks for bringing joy to us all!
Ms Coco: I could talk for another two hours..
Me: listening ....
Get well soon, Miss Coco! We love you!
Our self-perception is the biggest enemy we'll ever have. I was 16 when I saw you in Trick, I still say your famous line.
The bathroom scene, in my opinion, is an Oscar performance! I hope that your lip doesn't hurt, and it will heal quickly. Love you Coco 💜
Seriously, Coco should at least have gotten a nomination.
Loved Trick, you made the movie! My friend and I loved that you looked so much like antagonistic/friend Tori Spelling and for the main character to run into you at the bar was flawless. XO
You Coco were THE most memorable thing about the movie!!!!!
Miss Coco, you continue to out-do yourself - every day! Bravo! 💋
It's big, it's beautiful, and your going to love it! Yours is literally the only line I remember. That was when I first found Coco.
Coco, I want to hear all of your stories, no matter what.
If you had a podcast I would listen to every episode
I have the soundtrack to Trick and used to make mixtape CD's using your ”It’s Big, It’s Beautiful, and You’re Gonna Love It!”
In-between songs. All my friends knew exactly where it was from. Great memories of friends now long gone. 😘
Coco should do a *Special Guest Star* appearance on Steve Hayes's Tired Old Queen at The Movies.
What a great idea ! How can we make this happen ???
I think you are the most. Your dry humor is spot on. You bring class back.
Miss Coco you are a treasure! You don’t need a costume or jewellery to sparkle. Hope you found an alternative to that shockingly overpriced lip medication!
🐨🇦🇺❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

I love that bed spread... and you, too, Coco!
Bed Bath and Beyond
Oh So Young! I love that shimmer in the fabric!
I'm so glad you said yes because we love seeing you in the film Coco

It was this movie that I learned of Miss Coco Peru!!! I have been a Fan ever since
That scene with Gabriel in the bathroom was my favorite. The movie would not have been the if turned it down❤
Kenneth Kauzlaric “Gabriel, Gabriel, Gabriel!”
This one hit me in the feels. "Choices". The tears.

Love that blue fabric for the dress-so easy to see why you loved it, the color would have been great with your red hair.
Thank you again, Coco. I look forward to these everyday, to watch and to share. I’m getting laughs, gratitude, warmth and wisdom from this series. People think "consequences" are negative, but that's not so. A consequence is simply the result of an action.
Love you coco thank god you said yes youre the best! 💗💗👑

Love ya Coco!! Notification squad!!! Stay Safe.
Trick was the first movie I remember seeing you in Coco. I have been a fan of yours ever since. I was in High school when I saw the movie "Trick" and it was so great to see more gay movies being made at that time being a young gay teen then. We have come a long way! :) Such great memories :)
I love you Coco. I have a DVD of Trick and you WERE wonderful, everyone was. 😘
I remember going to the Cineplex Odeon on West 23rd watching Trick by myself because I had just moved to NYC and didn't know anyone yet. I was so thrilled to see a gay romantic comedy in a mainstream theater and it made me feel so validated as a little baby gay boy. I think I quoted this scene for months afterward: th-cam.com/video/DGwS-A351d0/w-d-xo.html
Later- I assaulted you at Wigstock and gushed for an embarrassingly long time to you about this or Trick had changed my life as only a 20 year old still trapped in their narcissism can.
Incredible!
That dress 👗 is so pretty looks like a Galaxy Love ❤️ it
I think you are a great person. I look forward to your videos.
Nail on head Coco! Love you mucho
Of all the phrases to be associated with a Queen, "less is more" doesn't spring to mind. 😂
That's what sets you apart and one of the reasons I love your style, however.
Trick was such a great movie. I had a copy on VHS
It's fitting that you like a nice sparkle considering the amount of sparkle your videos bring to my life
I loved the movie Trick! It was so special to me. I still have the vhs and sound track.😁
I was asked to go to the premiere of "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" in drag and I said "no". Now, I wish I had said "yes"
Oh well you missed it ..live and learn
Well like I say live and learn
If there was a gift basket for the young gay men TRICK would definitely be part of it. It was not only a well told movie about a beautiful story but there YOU were coming through the club singing ...and the “blow Gabriel blow” line ......you were born to entertain. I’m surprised no one has offered you a talk show or a 5 picture deal! Thanks for keeping me laughing till I’m pissing myself
Oh yes the first burn, I remember hearing that.
This was all happening when I was at uni in NY! Trick was wonderful and your character made it even more so! I was much more resourceful than those two boys trying to get it in! I miss the Roxy and Sound Factory!
Ty Cocoa.
The DRESS!!!!
This is so inspiring ❤️ Love you Coco
Just got the DVD! love love love this movie! That dress should be at Smithsonian Institution!
