Jeevan Frontiers: Bridging Cultures and Building Communities

In Singapore's Little India district, migrant workers receive subsidised healthcare and counselling at Karunya Community Clinic, which is run by Jeevan Frontiers. Founded by local dentist Dr Simon Mahendran in the 80s, the non-profit organisation addresses both the physical and mental health of labourers who work in an intense environment and often face challenges such as debt and chronic illness. The organisation also extends its support to communities in India, Nepal, Myanmar, and Bangladesh through educational programmes, family counselling, supporting microenterprises, fostering leadership development, promoting creative arts, and deploying medical teams.
