I'm likin' your style Tommy. Lookin' after our water-ways is the way to go. I'm only a couple of minutes in, but I'm likin' it.
A few more minutes in and not an expletive heard - makes a change on YT. Terrific effort, thank you. One of these days, I'll make my way to the KPC.

Thanks heaps mate really appreciate your kind words! Absolutely get up there. The river’s a tad high at the moment with all the rain but it will be one of the first streams to settle down the quickest and I’m sure the fishing will be really good once it’s at a good level

Great scenery Tommy. If a stream’s barely a metre deep just jump in and get your lure back is my theory.

Cheers buddy. Yeh I couldn’t agree anymore! I get it people loose lures but go in there and grab em if ya can and try not to leave your line in the water. Ended up costing me a nice fish in the end 😂

So you cast up stream? How important is that? Great stuff btw.

Thanks heaps Will! In my opinion it is one of the most important bits of advice I was told. When you think about it a lot of the time a trout will face upstream as he is swimming to maintain his position in a run or a pool, and he will also face upstream because that’s where his food will be coming from as it flows down the river. If you cast downstream (so you will be standing upstream of a trout) you will most likely be in the trouts vision as he is facing upstream and you will more than likely spook him. If you position yourself to cast upstream you get a chance to sneak up on a trout as you are coming up from behind him. Hope this helps mate! Thanks heaps for supporting the channel!

Tommy awesome fishing mate. Love the KP. It’s only 40 mins from my place. And yes I find a lot of lures that people loose. Do you mind if I ask which side stream you went up ?

Thanks mate! It’s a grouse little stream isn’t it! Feel free to follow me on Insta @tommytimefishing and I’ll let ya know. It’s a bit of a fragile fishery it can get fished out pretty quick if everyone knew about it so I’d rather tell you in private. Hope you understand
