Spirit temple and forest temple are my favourite. Forest temple for mystery and suspense. But the spirit temple for sheer power; entering a deeply spiritual place. But shadow temple also hits hard! It's so creepy. Thematically the music in this game is superior over every other game. Such an amazing soundtrack.
Water temple is a pretty cool temple. It introduced dark link for the first time since the monstrosity that was zelda 2. Music is fuckin awesome. Boss is really cool. Only real bad part is having to hit the pause button a dozen+ times to switch between normal and iron boots (but this was fixed in the 3ds version)

I still don’t like how they remade the fire temple music I think it would have been better if they just recorded themselves chanting some random babble or something in Latin that isn’t religious irl Instead of making it ‘Shadow temple the prequel’
Those ost will always be unmatched ! New Zelda games don’t have this anymore. It’s just plain silent someday compared to Ocarina of Time where every little songs and melodies represents the donjon so well ❤
An interesting fact: The Water Temple entrance is blocked off by a metal gate and the Shadow Temple entrance is blocked off by a door, but the Forest, Fire, and Spirit Temples' entrances don't have any kind of door.
I have yet to find a game with better replay value than this one. I'm sure there are but I come back to this game almost once a year. Dark Souls don't count cuz that never really ends lol
The chanting was pulled and the game was re-released without it. I can't remember whom, but some religious group took issue with it because the chant is from a Muslim prayer.
Well this is a list of all temple themes & being that The Great Deku Tree & Jabu-Jabu's belly were dungeon's & not temples is probably why they're not on this list. As for the "Zora Temple" if you mean the Ice Cavern that too is a dungeon so it's probably not listed for that reason as well.

Only a year? Been 10 to 12 years and remember most of them. Sarias song and the one where Sheik appears are the ones i remember most.
Spirit Temple theme opens up like fire, much like how the pots immediately aim to shatter your spirit.

I like the idea of the boss being able to control water but it's so easy to cheese and it loses most of the fun imo

Fire Temple is not right. At least not for me. Where is the chant?
The chant was removed from the 3DS version due to it being religious in nature.
+Katy Forrest there are some N64 cartridge with the chant, not that many have them. 3ds just enhance the songs from the N64 version
