I"m sure there are guys out there that would get a lot of use out of this; I just personally don't have a use-case for it around my garage other than making a rolling stool out of one of the large boxes....and for $70, the best deal you can get it for - you'd expect to get it assembled and ready to go.
@@scrambler350 I'm also HVAC I use it almost daily can roll it right off driveway across lawn with A/C tools & guages to install or sevice instead of making more trips back & forth to van. The packout crates are great for this larger than milk crates stronger & lock together. Have 3 of these & bottom pakout plates for floor of van and back of bulkhead to secure crates in van.
This is pretty cool, but 70plus dollars? it ain't that cool. As usual with Milwaukee, their stuff is way overpriced. I'll probably buy one but will wait for a deal.
I have both the cart and the dolly; the dolly is by far my favorite. Moving the pack out storage boxes around to get two different compartments is much easier with two carts.
I can imaging four m18 super hole hawg drills with off road tires in the chucks attached on the bottom of the pack out tool boxes. Also controllable remotely with the One-Key app for quick and or distant tool delivery on job sites. Remote controlled, rideable, battery powered tool boxes. Yeah! One day soon. Thanks for the video and the riding idea!
Do you have any ideal where I can buy the spring that is supposed to go with the brake? As you stated that there is no instructions or part numbers. Very frustrating buying a Milwaukee tool and can't find a small part.
I use my kneeling pad.was carrying my tool bag m12 & flashlight in a milk crate. I would put pad on crate to sit on. Now I carry packout crate do same.
Hi, I like the packout system but i wish milwaukee could make a whole separate handle cart with wheels where you can stack your own smaller boxes. I hope that makes sense.
Ha ha looks like you made the same mistake I did! The casters with the brakes on them have different size holes than the casters without the brake. Pro tip: I can see a space between the dolly and the wheels. You really need to snap those in with the hammer to fully seat them.
I agree, for the price you pay it should be fully assembled. I'm thinking my instructions got lost. I did buy two, and both did not have them. Maybe someone had an off day in the packing department. It happens. 🤣
this video was made about two years ago, but I can attest that they do in fact come with instructions that tell you where to put the casters. Now, you have to study them to see what you need to see, but you can no longer accurately state that they don't send you anything. They do, but you have to really pay attention.
Just bought one today. The wheels are REDICULOUSLY hard to get in. I can't even hammer them past the lock-in mechanism. Anyone else run into this? Disapointed your video didn't tell me "what Milwaukee doesn't tell you".
I have the predecessor of the Pack Out system and I love them. Mostly just organizers. I got to check out his system recently (coworker bought it for her man.) Seems legit, price seems a little high, but if you are a tradesman with a sizable client base and a good end product, you should be able to afford it. I was checking the reviews last week and the number one complaint is that the casters brake. I imagine those individuals possibly overloaded theirs and did something similar to a "curb drop" too many times. It's a heavy duty plastic with metal bearings, but reality dictates that plastic will break if not treated properly.
I agree the price seems high. It's about the same built as the Packout wall mount unit but with casters. After buying one though it is really nice. 😁 Thanks for watching .
Bought TWO of these at Home Depot. Neither were complete (none had brake arms, and were missing between 1 and 3 wheels). Thanks for doing this video-no instructions and no parts list. Idiotic.
Your wheels are not in properly. You have to pop your biceps and put all your weight on them to click them in. They will slide out. It’s not as easy as you think. Hope my comment helps.
I love Milwaukee toolz!!! But 4 that dolly price of $90 bucks, I can make me 6 of them @ a higher W8 rating!!! I've already made 4 moving dollies that I can put under my truck tires and move it, so it's a No go 4-me, but some people's kids love their Plastic World.
How many of you like the new packout dolly? Do you think it is priced right?

If you have an Ace Hardware around where you live, they have a great spring collection. Even a Tractor Supply might have it.
Now they need to make a clip on cushion for using it as a seat.
I like your style! 😉
I agree but Why not a pack out chair? :)
I was thinking about that too might need to be a bit stronger for me though.
I use my kneeling pad.was carrying my tool bag m12 & flashlight in a milk crate. I would put pad on crate to sit on. Now I carry packout crate do same.
That's an awesome idea!! Easiest diy ever as well!
Picked mine up today. It had directions but not good ones had similar issues that you had
Hi,
I like the packout system but i wish milwaukee could make a whole separate handle cart with wheels where you can stack your own smaller boxes. I hope that makes sense.
That would be nice. 😎
I’ve been saying for the past year, the Packout Mini!
Hi concur; a cart for the compact boxes would be great. The pack out cooler particularly would be nice to have on wheels.
That’s more practical
Like the one they just announced? 😁
A packout mounting plate and 4 wheels are much cheaper than the dolly, it seems about a $50 item but $90 is steep for what it is
But what about the foot breaks
You can buy wheels w/brakes, they even come the same size as the other 2
You did not show seating the casters. You must drive in the casters to lock them into the base
I like the dolly but I think the price is a little steep.
$105 Australian
@DELETE THE ELITE any video or tutorials? I want to do it too
Sound effects at beginning of video was nice!!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you. I was having problems pushing the wheels on.
Your Welcome
I love it, the only thing I’m looking for bigger wheels to install
I’m with you on that 👍🏻. Bigger wheels would be great.
Harbor Freight is probably where you'd find bigger wheels. That or Tractor Supply
Ha ha looks like you made the same mistake I did! The casters with the brakes on them have different size holes than the casters without the brake. Pro tip: I can see a space between the dolly and the wheels. You really need to snap those in with the hammer to fully seat them.
Have 3, but 2 arrived without the clevis pins which had fallen out during shipping.
gspam1 Milwaukee seemed to be sloppy on there packaging with this product. Hopefully they fix this for the future.
gspam1
Just call em they will send em
To ya for free
Thanks made my life easier. Why don’t the brake wheels don’t click in ?
2 gripes i have are: the bottom isn't flat, it's rounded. And, there isn't a two sides male bracket. If i want to hang the dolly up, i can't.
Very valid points. I do agree. 👍🏻
I got mine when it first came out, pretty sure mine had directions though.
I'm thinking it was an error on their end. 😉
“Milwaukee dolly races in the shop” I lost it lol
Not they have an instruction sheet but glad I watched your video
Thank you for this video I had a hard time putting this together.
Considering the high price, I'd expected it to be fully assembled when I ordered one but it was simple to assemble and mine had instructions.
I agree, for the price you pay it should be fully assembled. I'm thinking my instructions got lost. I did buy two, and both did not have them. Maybe someone had an off day in the packing department. It happens. 🤣
Or someone was slacking with the packaging process.
It’s 100 bucks now and still have to assemble it..
Now I need a video of the jeans you wear
😂😂
Were the directions on the box?
In both dolly’s I have there was no directions. Others say there’s came with directions.
Just got one of these and the wheels keep falling off not very useful
Definitely not useful. They should fit snug.
Wheels must click in
Nice PackOut Dolly Sir ♡
Put the 3 drawer or 2 drawer box on there and you have a great seat/work station for mechanics
Maybe, use the Packout Worktop too. 😎
Hey Phil, bought one of these today, guess what,it now comes with an instruction sheet😊
😂. I guess mine was just left out.
Like the way it will roll across lawn with tools just as easy as on pavement.
Where you first put the spring is where you can attach a Tick®️
Yep I figured that out later. Thanks 😊
It was like $50 2 years ago. Now it costs about $69 at Home Depot deals. Nice dolly and easy to assemble and use. No instructions for assembly needed😂
Now it’s 99 bucks plus tax
Thanks Phillip

You put them in the wrong holes lol
@@ryanh3951 hah! ;)
It literally has a picture showing how everything goes on the paper in the box
You got me all the f***** up if you think I'm paying $4000 for a dolly that doesn't come pre-assembled.

I like it👍👍👍
Is a safety test you can't figure out how to put it together w out the instructions you got no business using it
Was thinking the same, if cant figure out which way the casters go..... probably don't need a tool box dolly lol
Better add the M18 FUEL accessory to it before you go on that race. . .LOL
Just don’t try and unlock them with your thumbs! I stupidly did it and they effing bite hard!!
I wish Milwaukee offered the dolly for the larger box size 😩😩
The dolly should fit all packout boxes
I like it,cheaper would always be better
It's good to be a kid again wheeeeew!
I like mine. Mine came with instructions though...
They have slightly changed the design. All 4 wheels are now locking wheels.
1:27 Actual video starts. Those long winded introductions are a killer, bro.
100 buck for a dolly🤷🏾♂️
Also great vid bro
Ijs with these guys out here 3D printing the packout clasp you can make you own for about 40$ 👍🏾
I agree the price seems high. It's about the same built as the Packout wall mount unit but with casters. After buying one though it is really nice. 😁 Thanks for watching .

Yep... They are tough to pop in place but must be done so they don't come out.

Your writing style doesnt make you look cool, just foolish.
That you're obviously working so hard at it leans things towards pathetic.
Look at the directions!
It comes with directions btw
The price is ridiculous! 3/4 plywood and maybe $15 in casters would do the same thing. But yes I might possibly get one. Maybe
Hopefully in time the price will drop
GAWD, if u dont wanna spend on packout, get Dewalt with a lot less accessories ... and yet they all get packout in the end 🤣🤣
👍🏽🤙🏽🌴🙏🇺🇸
no instructions poor, no extending handle to pull if needed poor. Not a completely thought out unit.
You look like fermin IV from control machete.
Lol. Now if I could only rap. 🤔😜
Completely bias “review “. At least try to review the product. I’d guess another Free product from Milwaukee for you to review....
I buy all my Milwaukee tools
