Thanks for the demo. I am building an acoustic flyrig for plugging right into the FOH. I want to keep it simple with onboard Fishman preamp, tuner, optical compressor, and reverb. There are so many reverbs out there and this Fishman one is perfect....I don't need space echo or shimmer! Lol
Great demo, I'm definitely adding one of these to my pedal board at some point. Love your livestreams and content! I'd be interested in what sort of lens you use. Is it a web cam or something fancier? Either way it looks great. I have trouble coming up with a setup that lets the whole guitar be in the frame, but allows me to reach the keyboard and mouse.
Hi, thanks glad you enjoyed the video. Sorry for my late reply! For a while I was using the Logitech C920 webcam for all my livestreams and that worked great, although I still wasn’t able to get the whole guitar in shot and get close enough to the screen. Only recently I’ve upgraded to a camera, the Sony ZV-E10 with the 16mm F1.4 Sigma lens. This is a wide angle lens and is much better with getting everything in shot. Although obviously this is a lot more expensive than the Logitech Webcam.
How’s this compare to the LrBaggs Align Series Reverb? I agree the BlueSky colored my natural tone too much. I couldn’t get a natural sound out of it. The Stryman Flint is awesome for Acoustic.
Hi, I haven’t actually tried the Align Series by LR Baggs so I can’t say, but I’ve heard great things about it. I can’t see if it has different types of reverbs though? Just on what I’m seeing online about it. Yeah the BlueSky is great but not the most natural sounding. I haven’t tried the Flint, I’ve gotta try and check that out! Thanks for the comment 😊
@@FabianHollandGuitarThe LR Baggs Reverb is only one type, but it has a tone knob. It is very subtle. I dial it in and then just use it as an always on pedal. The Flint has 3 different reverbs and the hardest part is deciding which to use cause I like them all! LOL
This is probably the best review of this pedal. I bought it couple months ago and I will replace my HOF 2 with this AcoustiVerb. Also, I watched couple more yours videos, and I just press sub on yours channel. Great job 👏
Hi, thanks so much!! Glad that you enjoyed the video. Yeah I really like the pedal, it has a much more natural sound than a lot of other reverbs out there! Thanks for the sub 🙂👍
This really sounds better than the HOF? I'm skeptical but this review and comments seem legit. How do you design a reverb "specifically for acoustic"???
Hi sir I was wondering what mic are you using in this video? I am thinking about upgrading my mic for fingerstyle recording but I have no idea where to start Currently I am just using the studio bundle mic from Focusrite scarlett and it sounds really bad
Hi, thanks for the question! I’m using a Neumann Km184 which is a small diaphragm condenser. It’s definitely at the higher range of these kind of mics but if you don’t have a big budget then you can find lots of great budget friendly ones on the market as well.
@@Floydandsome SE Electronics SE8. Good Budget option. I`m very impressed by the performance compared to more expensie misc. A steroe pair goes for around 400$
Does this reverb generate a lot of feedback when the knobs are cranked up? The LR Baggs does, and it drives me nuts, lol. Sometimes I like to get very ambient, which means turning the knobs way up.
Hi, thanks for the question. I'm not actually sure? I don't think you can because there was no mention of anything like that in the manual. Also I guess it would need a seperate input just for the footswitch?
Hi, thanks for the question. Yeah a lot of pedals don’t come with power supplies, especially mini pedals. Usually it’s only if the pedal requires a different power source other than the standard 9Volt then it will be included with the pedal.
I don’t think so? Although I haven’t tried plugging in a stereo cable. The way I understand it is it allows you to plug in a stereo cable for situations when maybe you have 2 pickups running through one stereo cable and then it allows you to assign the reverb to either one of those signals but not both at the same time. Hope that makes sense?
One of the best demonstrations of this pedal I’ve seen. I’m buying it now.
Thanks so much!! Glad you enjoyed the video 😊🙏
You played a beautiful piece of music...transported me to a faraway place :)
Thanks so much 🙏
great review, nicely done, ended up just waiting to hear you say aqueuestic reverb again, golden
something about your delivery is very engaging. great vid!
Thanks so much!! I appreciate you saying that 😊👍 glad you enjoyed the video

Hi, thanks for the comment! Oh yeah if you need something very simple and natural sounding then this reverb pedal is perfect! 👍
Happy New year 2024 Fabian!!! Love the review. The Fishman adds more to your beautiful playing..
Happy New Year!! Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the video. 😊👍
It looks like it's a fairly solid build too. Thanks, Fabian.
Thanks, yeah absolutely the build quality is solid for sure! 👌
LR baggs Align reverb also has a very natural acoustic tone. check it out. this one is very close to it though for half the price
Hi, thanks for the suggestion! I’ll check it out 👍

I am a nylon strings player... how it's going with nylon strings..?
I want to try it with electric

Definitely will take a look!
Thanks for the review. Does the level knob produce a true 100% wet, i.e. all reverb and no dry signal?
Hi, thanks for the question, sorry for my late reply. To my ears it doesn’t get rid of the dry completely when all the way to the right. Thanks 🙂

Hi, thanks for the question!! I haven’t noticed any feedback when using this but then I’ve been mainly using it at home without an amplifier.
@@FabianHollandGuitar Good to know. Thanks for the response!
Hello nice review can I use external footswitch to switch between settings like plate, to hall etc?
Hi, thanks for the question. I'm not actually sure? I don't think you can because there was no mention of anything like that in the manual. Also I guess it would need a seperate input just for the footswitch?
Is this the reverb in the fishmann loudbox amps?
Hi, thanks for the question! I’m not sure about that? It might be very similar but I think that the fishman pedals were made after the loud box!
Is the mic plugged into the reverb ? As i notice your recording onto a mic and not into an amp via pre amp from guitsr thanks
Hi again 😊 if I remember I wasn’t using any reverb on the mic, thanks!
is it normal it was delivered without the 9 volt adapter? Thanks.

Is it a stereo reverb, I can´t find any clear answer
