To keep the centering of circular patterns, the fabric must be moved at the same time as the circular foot. This will allow the centering of the stitch patterns. Don’t fully raise the foot, only lift it slightly enough to allow the left or right shifting of the fabric, in unison with the foot. Practice. Practice Practice. 🙂
First time I've seen this foot and stitch - fabulous! This will be on my purchase and try list. Thank you so much! You are easy to listen to, easy to follow.
Yes, your tutorial has inspired me indeed to try this presser foot. Very comprehensive instructions too. I am going to buy the flower stitch foot. Thank you.
Great tutorial and ideas, I bought this foot at the end of last year, played with it and put it away. i had no idea that you could use a variety of stitches, so glad I viewed your tutorial. many many thanks, Jess
I bought the flower stitch foot well over a year ago and haven't taken it out of it's box. There are so few tutorials / instructions on how to properly, and fully, use it that I just put it in a drawer. Thank you for this. I may just bring it out for my next project!! :)
Hi Trish! That's wonderful! We hope you do take it out of the box, begin practicing with it and discover all the great variety of stitch combinations you can make. Thank you for watching!
Thank you for this tutorial. I have had my foot on my shelf with a couple others I just can't seem to use correctly but I think I will take this one back out and give it another try.
Hi rlmorrison46, That's great! We are delighted our video inspired you to use this foot! Have fun with it and show us what you make at #nancysnotions we would love to see! Thank you so much for watching! :)
Ma'am, it is a great tutorial. But let me know what should be the stitch length and width tension... Does that matter or are these the same as for normal stitching.
recommendation to get the rings in center. you do not lift the foot while adjusting your attachment for the next pattern to sew, you may have to manually lift the foot instead of you machine software.
I'm getting this foot for Christmas so I clicked on the link to get the free pattern sheet but it said "not found". Is there some way to still get it.?
I bought one years ago and played with it for a few hours and then I put it away.I may just get it out after watching your video.I have a better understanding how to use it thanks
Hi, just yesterday, i hsd been sewing concentric circles with flower stitch foot with built - in stitches . With fiffetent colour contrast. Now, ,duddenky, vthe foot is norlt rotating. What may be thev reason.? How should I set right. ?pls help me. :)
Can you please tell me what I might be doing wrong... I try to sew with this foot and I keep breaking needles because I hit that metal bar that sticks out from the dial where you can change the size of flower. I would appreciate any ideas, thanks
check the stitch width, also the position of the needle if you have 3 positions on your machine should be at the center before your choose the stitch to sew

@@NancysNotions it seems to me that you have mechanical problems a skip stitch has the foundation on the hook not catching the thread to form a stitch, and causes are many, could be needle bar lower dead point, wrong needle, bad hook, space between the needle and the hook at the catch point is to far, needle to tick for light materials, foot not all the way down to hold the fabric and causing flagging, etc. please take the machine to a expertise for evaluation.
I was wondering if it was possible to make slightly larger circles by changing the needle position. I need to make 1.25" circles for a project and I was wondering if this foot could work for this
