How to Clean The Most Popular Nike Dunks

- After around 7 restocks of this Nike Dunk it is hard to believe that you don't have a pair of the Panda Dunks in your collection! Today we get to show you how to clean the most popular Nike Dunks of all time; the Panda Dunks. These Nike Dunks feature a leather upper, so they are fairly easy to clean.... However, this pair was worn daily since the day the owner picked them up, so they needed some extra care.
For the cleaning process we use the RESHOEVN8R Signature Cleaning Kit to give the shoe a proper deep clean inside and out.The leather uppers clean up really well with the pretreatment using the all natural solution and 3 different brushed. However, we did choose to use the washing machine due to the tongue and stitching. Those 2 elements alone are some of the trickiest materials to clean.
We started by cleaning the uppers with the Soft Bristle Brush to create the most bubbles and breakdown all of the daily grime. After that we took on the Midsoles and re- hit the leather using the Medium Bristle Brush to finish the job. Prior to taking on the Stiff Bristle Brush on the outsoles and the harder staining on the midsoles. Then it was time for the deep clean process.
For this process we placed the sneaker in the washing machine on a normal cycle with cold water.. Pro tip: Leave the Shoe Tree inserted to reshape/ reform the sneaker. The Panda Dunks.. If we are being real aren't made of the most premium materials, so they crease incredibly easy and the shape can be compromised with daily wear.
Once the sneaker was dry we noticed that although the Shoe Tree helped the creasing was still very noticeable. We had to take care of those small details before returning the sneaker. We removed the creasing to the best of our ability with the iron method that we learned from our friend Vick Almighty. To give it more of a detailed and polished look we trimmed the loose stitching and they were good as new! Guess we won't have to get a new pair on the next restock!

It’s even more popular to hate on this shoe. It’s a great shoe. I’ve had mine for like four years, they’re really comfortable now.
Now imagine if they were SB Dunks…

The colorblocking/color is great, It match with everything everyday. The problem is the price, other Nike dunk low offers better leather quality with almost the same price tag. The toe box panels feel like cardboard 🤦♂️

I like how calling something “overrated” or underrated stems from a group of people disagreeing with a majority. Over time this majority turns into a minority and then the thing is overrated or underrated depending on which party is bigger. Usually some people also like the over/ underrated thing but just agree with others.

The materials are fake air 1’s are made of leather not great leather but better than plastic coated textiles

I totally agree with that! I customize and do lots of cleanings on af1s. I have 2 per in front of me right now that I'm working on. I wish ppl would want more dunks and jordans worked on but where I live ppl seem stuck on af1s and it's not gonna die out any time soon as I'm the only person in town that does shoe work.
i’m still confused on the protection spray part, can you or can you not use it on this type of leather? including the air jordan mid 1’s
We do recommend water + stain repellent on any leather and dark colored shoes.

How do you use the water+stain repellent?
1. Spray in a well ventilated area.
2. Spray the shoe 6-8 inches away in an even coat.
3. Use 2-3 coats. Wait 15 minutes in between each coat.
4. Wait 24 hours after applying to wear.

Why do y’all always leave the shoe tree in for the before and after? We want to see how the toe box holds up without the shoe tree pressing pressure on it!!
Shoes Trees are kept inside the shoes to prevent creasing while cleaning the shoes.
@@RESHOEVN8R well, of course. My concern was that everytime you guys are finished the shoe and show how nice it is, you never take it out and show us what it looks like once the shoe tree is removed. Of course with the shoe tree in there it’s going to look brand new. I guess what I’m saying is at what point does the shoe tree come out? And when it does can we see the results?

I do wish the materials were better…but at one everyone wanted this. Then it was made possible for everyone to get it, it’s now a horrible shoe.

people that say "overrated" for anything have no clue what the word means, and usually they're wearing a thrasher tshirt😂. also dunks have the cheapest leather and is plastic coated, so if you get scuffs just use angelus brand shoe paint
