Kyle just drafted from 7 spot and started with Chase,AJ & Olave then went Mixon,Walker & Brooks and Godwin. Added Kincaid and Murray plus Singletary,JSN,Ladd,Chandler & Bowers. It’s ppr league and couldn’t get a lot of guys I wanted but people were reaching 2 or 3 rounds ahead of ADP on players!
I'd take that team any day!
The CLE RB room/situation will be one to watch:
I wasn't sure what he said about Ford last year, but Ford really wasn't that good - 37th in PFF’s run grade (71.5), tied for 32nd in yards per attempt (3.9), tied for 25th in yards after contact per attempt (2.87 YCO/A), 21st in elusiveness rating (59.3), tied for 42nd in EPA per rush (-0.18 EPA/Rush), 49th in TFL rate (16.5 TFL%), tied for 19th in explosive run rate (7.3%), 47th in first down rate (16%) and tied for 44th in short-down-and-distance rate (30%).
The Browns signed D’Onta Foreman. He had a higher PFF run grade (77.4), more EPA per rush (-0.04 EPA/Rush), an identical explosive run rate and a higher first down rate (22%) than Ford despite facing an average of 6.95 defenders in the box versus 6.78 for Ford. Browns also signed Nyheim Hines.
Ford is not that great in the pass game either. 39th in PFF’s receiving grade (55.3) and 28th in yards per route run (0.96 Y/RR).
Foreman is arguably a better runner than Ford, and Hines might be better than Ford as a receiver. Plus who knows what will happen with Chubb.
At this point, there's a lot risk with Ford.
James Conner is that one player I end up with every year. That upside is great. At that ADP, Ill probably take him again
Always a good pick. He will miss weeks 8-12 then come back and be your league winner through the playoffs.
Just make sure to handcuff with Benson

The best thing that happened to Connor for DPV was them adding benson. Getting him as Rb 25ish is lovely
My strategy usually goes out the window usually around round 3 because people drafting players early than adp by a couple of rounds
Yup I just try to stay fluid and make the best choices I can at the time.
Montgomery was my RB2 last year he did great for me. He is one of my keepers.

Mostert history shows this year he'll likely be hurt again. Every other year he gets sidelined
He's played 31/34 games over the last 2 years....
Could he get hurt? Sure, anyone could.
But the whole " He's likely to be hurt again. Every other year he gets sidelined" is not some proven fact or a mindset that should ever be used in fantasy football. Actually one of the biggest mistakes you can make

In your Achame section you asked for example of precipitous negative drop from one year to next - Zoerfect example / JAMAAL WILLIAMS - last year with Lions vs 1sr year with Nee Orleans / huge drop in production .
Conner was amazing at the end of the year when kyler came back. I made the mistake of not playing him championship week, wanted upside so took the risk with shaheed and lost by 2 points. With conner sitting on the bench with over 20. Lol. Gotta stop overthinking and just start conner.

I'm 10th in a 12 team league: is J Taylor, P Nacua, K Walker, Aiyuk, A Richardson, Conner, J Reed an acceptable start to a draft?
I THiNK u may need another good WR, Its its my belief Puka will take a step back, ive been wrong before, but i just think is Kupp can be healthy hell go back to being the main target, i think Kupp has 1 BIG year left in him and this may be it

I drafted ford in dynasty last year.Loving him in redraft as well with his current price.
He has a very solid floor of 11-14 a week.

Would you trade Chris olave and the 2.07 for Jaylen waddle and picks 1.11, 1.12. Then trade Jaylen waddle for nico and pick 1.10? If I did that my starting line up would be Justin Herbert, breece hall, Travis etienne, aj brown, Marvin Harrison, trey McBride, garret Wilson, drake london. Bench- Kyler Murray, Zack moss dalton shultz, Nico and picks 1.10, 1.11, 1.12. Should I do that? Or just keep olave ? Thoughts ?

100%. He'll get the majority of the work for a large part of the early season, maybe most of the season. The line is still really good too.
They say things look too me only about 5 rbs are being drafted in the first 3 rounds due to the WR top heavy league
IMO, Achane is this year’s Pollard of last year. Way too much hype without the stature to match. I’ll happily snag Mostert late, again.

I love me some Mostert, but I'm hesitant this season. Only because I've drafted him the last 2 seasons in at least one or more leagues.
But I'll take Monty all day. That Red Zone opportunity was pretty flavorful last year.

I’ve done a few mock drafts with other fantasy football players and it’s crazy how late you actually find some of these guys.
I have drafted, and will continue to draft James Conner and Kenneth Walker the third. Both have excellent value for where they can be drafted.

Wouldn't mind James Conner and trade him after a hot week or 2.
Mostert worries me because of his age, lack of involvement in the passing game, and increased competition from Achane and possibly Wright. Mostert had more carries in the last two years then in the prior eight years combined. I'm still taking him in bestball because if the wheels dont come off this year he should still be way more valuable than his ranking.
Good to pick him up late but lightening is not striking twice 😅

Drafting Ford for sure
I'm fading every player on your list except for Montgomery. Good player on a very good team/offense that will be ahead in a lot of games and end up running the ball in those situations. I believe that Detroit will want to keep Gibbs fresh all year for the playoffs and possible SB so they won't overuse him, giving Montgomery as many touches per game as he had last season. Montgomery missed 3 games last season and was still #13 in 1/2 PPR. If he'd played all 17 last season at his 14.2 PPG, he would've been #7 at worst, #5 at best.
I think the most slept on rb of all of fantasy football is zamir white bro was eating when he was the starter and you get him so late I see him finishing top 15 easy

It's scary to try and trade for or draft a player like mostert cause it wasn't that long ago cordarrelle patterson had top 10 season and than the following season disappeared on everyone

Mostert isn't as old as he seems. He doesnt have the wear and tear that most guys even a couple years younger than him have. Itll be interesting to see if the dolphins maintain the more cautious approach with each of their backs or give someone the backfield. There were so many times last season they screwed themselves by using achane in a situation they shouldn't have or more often, they used ahmed or jeff wilson...it just didnt make sense. Mostert realistically should have scored 7 to 8 more touchdowns than he already did and thats just the ones i went back and counted quickly where they put someone else in and failed to score.
He definitely does have wear and tear. He's only played 3 full seasons in 9 years
