Great show, totally agree that you should make your own list and stick to it. In fantasy football, you really want to play contrarian lineups that project well, and are as correlated as possible. Those are the 3 goals. Contrarian lineups with a high ceiling and correlated potential outcomes. I think this is true regardless of format. For half PPR, here is my top 10 but as I have said before, take it with a grain of salt, as I am just a beginner in my second season at BB. Last year in my first BB lineup I took Mahomes with in the 1.1 hole (go ahead and laugh, I finished 12th lol). By the 4th lineup of 4 I had decided that I should wait until at least the third round to take a QB. I had McCaffrey as #1 in my list by then, although JJ was going #1 last year. That lineup did much better (losing in BB Semis and missing BB finals by half a point, after I won in the Quarters by 50 points). So here is my top 7 for those who care... too lazy to explain my whole top 10.... McCaffrey #1 - only true WR/RB "joker" in the league in my opinion who could be an all pro at either position, still #1 for me just like last year Hill #2 - Current leader in odds for Offensive Player of the Year - above even McCaffrey, I think highest ceiling among any WR, #3 Lamb - never falls to here so I don't get him, which is ok by me, Dallas worries me a bit, #4 Bijan - they plan to use him CMC role, and I think could really blow up this year, #5 Chase, it is close between him and Jefferson for me, but Chase gets a healthy Burrow to start, #6 Jefferson, sometimes he falls me here, #7 Breece Hall, some injury risk puts Bijan above him for me but love the ceiling from so much pass catching work plus carries.
Being in the slot doesn't matter. If you're good the team will put you slot or outside and it won't matter. If they are good and get open they are getting the ball!
The issue for top rookie WRs is that they go to mediocre/bad QBs. The guys who succeeded went to Burrow, Cousins, and Stafford. I don't think Murray is as accurate as these guys, but he can create on the run and sling the ball. I understand reticence about Marvin Harrison Jr, but it is hard to pass on the talent.
Montgomery is the Goal-Line back and TD maker. Gibbs is the passing back and big-play maker. You can't go wrong with both, imo The Lions are stacked. All their major skill players are fantasy greats.
I had Gibbs and Monty last year and it worked well for most of the season. Took out the frustration of being disappointed half the time at least. For redraft with extra lineup spots, not best ball.
Three are quite a few teams to stack up players this year. Very intriguing. Detroit Houston Philly Dolphins Rams Cowgirls Man, I am sure there are a few more. It is going to be a very fun fantasy year, imo Even the Packers and Colts.
Ppr 12team 1qb 2rb 2wr 1te 1flex I have option to keep 3 and I have the first pick Breece 2nd rd pick 24 no brainer Etienne 3rd rd pick 25 Laporta 7th rd no brainer questions Would you pass on mccafrey for ceedee? Would you start with all 3 Mccafrey, hall, and Etienne and have lowly wr core How would you go about this draft?
I hate my current approach to the 1st round in UD this year because I rank both Bijan and Breece in my top 5 but I can't bring myself to pick them there because I the WR landscape is garbage past the 1st round (side note I don't like getting the first pick this year for the same reason, I have to take CMC but I then hate my WR core). As a side note I'm mildly scared of the fact that I have MHJ as my WR 13 when he is going off the board 13th overall
If I had first pick overall, I'm going cmc and then sleep like a baby. I don't think he gave any reason last season to make me doubt the pick for this year.
@princekubakuba9682 I guarantee you Chase isn't going to be the one to bust. In fact, I think he can finish top 3 wrs easily. It's AJ Brown for me. He's great. But I don't think he's gonna perform to his adp. Especially with Smith there.
I took CD first overal in my friends $100 draft and ended up with CD/Evans/Henry/Stevenson. I prefer the balance of your who's who with Henry/Pacheco/Mixon+a top reciever rather than CMC+ Waddle/Snith. Also, with exception to Henry you can look at the regression numbers of RB's with that many Carrys + receptions. CMC is a healthy risk as well. History says CMC is a big risk.
I got CMC/Evans/Waddle/Cook/Tua/Kincaid… wanted Stephenson but he went 2 picks earlier… but I got Z. White/j Williams/Ford and Benson on my bench… oh with Pickens, C Watson and Palmer With that upgraded line in Oakland I like white, Denver should lean on Williams… it’s just Watson and Palmer were dart throws, could be #1s… could be 2s… who knows
@@princekubakuba9682Evans in the second for 12 team aint bad. What’s terrible is Stevenson in the 4th when he coulda prolly got DK, Cooper, Cupp, or even Kelce/ La Porta if they dropped
Lol thats a nice strategy. I would have gotten Breece considering the tripple dipple of rb1 is gonna be extremely hard with CMC. Than Im getting a wr like Waddle with far more upside and elite scoring upside for a wr. Than U have Breece, but Henry and Taylor can still fall here. So u get Breece Henry/Taylor. Even better would be getting Taylor Henry back to back. Than u get Breece, Henry and Waddle. Instead of Ceedee Henry, Taylor/Waddle.
I was super high on CMC when the staff was like, “I’m not worried about his work load” before the draft… and that switched to “we gotta save him from himself”… after I drafted him… I would have went Robinson or Hall… Elite RBs are at a priority… go ahead and get those receivers… I’ll get 2 elite RBs and I’ll take a Debo, Aiyuk, Evans, Waddle, DK and so on in the 3rd and so on… and be just fine… in the 3rd at RB, you got Jacob’s, Rachad White, Pacheco, Cook and Walker in the 40s… I mean you do you… but I’m sure I’ll beat you with whatever WR duo I have with like Bjon and Gibbs or Taylor
Really? Wrs and Rbs seem to be equality a priority. The Wr drop off is almost as weak if not weaker than the rbs. Deebo is injury prone, Aiyuk is about to get traded. Evans is getting older. I Would rather have a MHJ or Garrett Wilson with Gibbs than Gibbs and Taylor and sacrifice a top 7 wr for One of those guys.
Plus u can get James Cook as a rb who is a ppr machine so too me its far more safe to get that ceiling on wr and rb. However, I actually got the analogy of Bijan/Gibbs with Taylor. I traded Cook for Taylor and now its much more convenient. Taylor with Gibbs and I get to keep a top 7 wr with MHJ and snag Nico as my wr Who is top 6. Best team in my league.
@@ethanolthegoat I would disagree WRs drop off more than running backs… Starting around the 8th you got C Watson, D Johnson, Odunze, Sutton, C Samuel (or any bill receiver really), and Palmer… all dudes who are #1s for now (we will see how camp plays out) In that same stretch you got J Williams, Singletary and Chubb who are #1 guys… This is not to mention the #2 WR options that go late… Speaking of MHJ, I’m not a fan of any rookie WR, statistically only about half of the first round WR do anything of value their first year… last year was Njigba, Quentin Johnston, and Zay Flowers was 29th (so-so)… 2022 it was London, Dotson and Burks Year before that Bateman and K Toney… and so on In that 3rd round you can’t trust Henry, (or Pitman), or Rashaad White, so that leave you with Jacob’s and Pacheco… ya and in the 4th you got cooks and Walker…. But who else? You got 5WR going in that round… 5th and 6th isn’t a bad spot for an RB, but it’s that late 7th and on, 8th and on where WR is a way bigger value
@@Thoughtpologetics Well first of all, I’m a packer fan and Watson barely stays on the field and is definitely not a Wr1 in any Wr1 form really. Even if he’s on the field he gets like no real wr 1 production because the packers spread the ball through 4 capable wrs and 2 really solid tes. He’s got a role but that isn’t a wr1 type role. He has to situate and Diontae isn’t good enough to be a wr 1. That’s why he’s outplayed by Pickens and the panthers offense is horrendous.
@@Thoughtpologetics Bruh Odunze is literally surrounded by 2 all pro wrs. He ain’t no Wr 1 better yet a Wr 2! Keenan Allen just had 1400 and Dj Moore just had a career year. What do u mean he’s wr 1. Even if he’s somehow wr1. He’s not gonna have any volume Carry out cause the load is separated by all 3. No humanly way he’s a wr1 type player
Everyone wants to extrapolate Jefferson's numbers for those 4 games without cousins.. he played the Lions twice who had one of the worst passing defenses in the NFL last year.. look at the game Jefferson played against the Packers.. he didn't do anything cause they actually had a defense.. Jefferson is not as QB proof as everyone thinks
Brother Justin Jefferson in the 2022 season had a 1 reception 5 target game for 15 yards with Cousins at QB vs the Packers 😂😂🤦🏽♂️ Jaire Alexander is an all pro CB yea it’s a hard matchup but that’s for every WR
I have Justin Jefferson as the 5th best.... Wr... Not even a top 5 option in fantasy. People are tripping one trick Pony with no horn. Buddy can blow the horns off a longhorn, but as a player hes got no magic dust and has dirt on his huffs like a one trick pony. Unicorn like Jjettas needs another Unicorn, but no way JJ can be a good qb in his first year. Minimum gonna take 3 years to develop. People trippin man.
I don’t know if I would take cmc with the 1 pick. I probably would but I definitely wouldn’t feel great about it. Something tells me that he won’t stay on the field nearly as much as last season
10 team 2QB league. I have first pick. I won’t be taking CMC. Because it’s a 2QB league, RBs stay on the board longer. I am legitimately leaning for Ceedee or ASRB at 1.
14 man half-ppr win now and completely all in. Burrow Saquon JTay Tyreek Gwilson Aiyuk Engram I was offered jamaar for garret and a 2026 1st. I’m very high on garret but I could stack chase and burrow. Would not be psyched about losing Garret, is it worth it?
Ceedee sat out a lot of 4th quarters due to blowing teams out or teams blowing them out. So, if the Dolphins played in more closer games, Tyreek would've scored more, then I can also say if the Cowboys played in more closer games, Ceedee would've crushed even more. I'm just saying.
I am focusing on running backs this year. Got burned going receivers last year with Justin Jefferson. Plenty of good receivers, but scarce on the rb's, imo Plenty of Tight Ends as well. I think everyone will have high-scoring teams, especially, with the new kickoff rule.
While this isn’t at all a bad list or video when taken in no context, it’s like these guys don’t know how their own website’s fantasy football works. I’m Underdog Best Ball there are 3 WRs started and only 2 RBs, leading to an inherent bias of valuing top end WRs more in the first two rounds
Dont sugarcoat how Justin Jefferson played those last 4 games with Nobodys at QB saying he was on pace for a 2000 yard season if they did that over 17 games. Thats Misleading. He had 2 Blow up games and 2 Sorry games. Now thats the Truth
Hey ty for the content. How underrated are the Bills and Chiefs Receiver's this draft? You know...some of the best QBs in the league throwing the ball. Big gambles but wow there's bound to be a star emerge from one or both of those teams. Can we also not forget about players like Diggs (highly undervalued for no reason) and previous RB leaders like Jacobs and Jonathan Taylor
Some would say Diggs is overvalued at this point. His advanced stats have all regressed to pretty mid, and he’s going like 20 spots above Tank Dell who I’d argue could easily have a better season than Diggs
Breece Hall is going to get insured week 2 and ruin a lot of peoples seasons. I shouldn’t say that out loud. I’m just nervous staying away from him this year.
It's almost like you all can't put your finger on why Ja'Marr hasn't been having the seasons these other guys are having. Ya get real scientific with everyone else. I think you simply haven't done enough homework there, I felt Hayden's disrespect here. These other WR'S have been eating much more heavily out if the slot, Ja'Marr has been much more stuck outside because Boyd couldn't play anywhere else. I suspect you're going to see much more of that this year since I believe Burton and/or Iosivas will be able to play outside much better. Defenses aren't gonna be covering Ja'Marr in the slot... Flip Ja'Marr & CeeDee (now that he got paid) if you're smart.

Laporta 7th rd no brainer
questions
Would you pass on mccafrey for ceedee?
Would you start with all 3
Mccafrey, hall, and Etienne and have lowly wr core
How would you go about this draft?
I have to keep atleast 1 player
Saying CMC has a "bunch of touches on his body" was an odd way to say he's a workhorse back 😂
Grow up bro
Historically, most RBs with his touch total regress in some capacity the next season.
@@Bigg50_ get over yourself, it's a joke
U the only one thinking gay thoughts here… my advice is just follow your heart we accept you 😊
@@a_wretch_like_me9665fr it was funny
Got CeeDee at 4 in a recent draft…now just kicking myself that I didn’t take Waddle at 21. I just love Nico so much haha
I would pass on Waddle too. Don’t trust him
Nico is the guy don’t doubt that pick tbh
Waddle cant stay healthy
Nico better
waddle could have a great szn... but i'd bet the over on whatever missed games is
I hate my current approach to the 1st round in UD this year because I rank both Bijan and Breece in my top 5 but I can't bring myself to pick them there because I the WR landscape is garbage past the 1st round (side note I don't like getting the first pick this year for the same reason, I have to take CMC but I then hate my WR core).
As a side note I'm mildly scared of the fact that I have MHJ as my WR 13 when he is going off the board 13th overall
Many receivers in the first round will bust. Chase and JJ will bust.
@@princekubakuba9682 many definitely will I'm less certain about which ones specifically
I'm avoiding Harrison in every draft at his adp. He's going way to early imo.
Love that start.
Horrible draft. Evan’s in the 2nd round? What were u smoking
I got CMC/Evans/Waddle/Cook/Tua/Kincaid… wanted Stephenson but he went 2 picks earlier… but I got Z. White/j Williams/Ford and Benson on my bench… oh with Pickens, C Watson and Palmer
With that upgraded line in Oakland I like white, Denver should lean on Williams… it’s just Watson and Palmer were dart throws, could be #1s… could be 2s… who knows
I was super high on CMC when the staff was like, “I’m not worried about his work load” before the draft… and that switched to “we gotta save him from himself”… after I drafted him…
I would have went Robinson or Hall… Elite RBs are at a priority… go ahead and get those receivers… I’ll get 2 elite RBs and I’ll take a Debo, Aiyuk, Evans, Waddle, DK and so on in the 3rd and so on… and be just fine… in the 3rd at RB, you got Jacob’s, Rachad White, Pacheco, Cook and Walker in the 40s…
I mean you do you… but I’m sure I’ll beat you with whatever WR duo I have with like Bjon and Gibbs or Taylor
@@ethanolthegoat I would disagree WRs drop off more than running backs…
Starting around the 8th you got C Watson, D Johnson, Odunze, Sutton, C Samuel (or any bill receiver really), and Palmer… all dudes who are #1s for now (we will see how camp plays out)
In that same stretch you got J Williams, Singletary and Chubb who are #1 guys…
This is not to mention the #2 WR options that go late…
Speaking of MHJ, I’m not a fan of any rookie WR, statistically only about half of the first round WR do anything of value their first year… last year was Njigba, Quentin Johnston, and Zay Flowers was 29th (so-so)…
2022 it was London, Dotson and Burks
Year before that Bateman and K Toney… and so on
In that 3rd round you can’t trust Henry, (or Pitman), or Rashaad White, so that leave you with Jacob’s and Pacheco… ya and in the 4th you got cooks and Walker…. But who else? You got 5WR going in that round…
5th and 6th isn’t a bad spot for an RB, but it’s that late 7th and on, 8th and on where WR is a way bigger value
Really wish Josh could do public Underdog drafts- come draft Saquan that high in my lobbies 🙏🐋
saquon is going to ball out
Everyone wants to extrapolate Jefferson's numbers for those 4 games without cousins.. he played the Lions twice who had one of the worst passing defenses in the NFL last year.. look at the game Jefferson played against the Packers.. he didn't do anything cause they actually had a defense..
Wait the Packers had a defense? Packers fans don't think so. They gave up 33 points to the Panthers and fired Joe Barry end of season...
Exactly
you’re cheese colored glasses are blinding my eyes. jj +koc are qb proof.
Hill out scored 22' Jefferson (w/cousins) a big no no (and without Addison)
Is anyone concerned about the Play of the Vikings QBs thus killing JJ stock?? For a top 5 pick that's alot of risk.

So if I believe that a RB is going to be a top 3 RB and I can get him in the fourth round would it be wise to pick 3 WO's with the first three picks?
10 team 2QB league. I have first pick. I won’t be taking CMC. Because it’s a 2QB league, RBs stay on the board longer. I am legitimately leaning for Ceedee or ASRB at 1.
CeeDee over Amon easily.

I was offered jamaar for garret and a 2026 1st. I’m very high on garret but I could stack chase and burrow. Would not be psyched about losing Garret, is it worth it?
Is this a dynasty team? How in a 14 man league did you end up with 3x1st round guys and 2x2nd rounders?
Hayden is the GOAT
Ceedee sat out a lot of 4th quarters due to blowing teams out or teams blowing them out. So, if the Dolphins played in more closer games, Tyreek would've scored more, then I can also say if the Cowboys played in more closer games, Ceedee would've crushed even more. I'm just saying.
Are featured drafts dropped randomly or on a set day of the week?
I am focusing on running backs this year. Got burned going receivers last year with Justin Jefferson. Plenty of good receivers, but scarce on the rb's, imo Plenty of Tight Ends as well. I think everyone will have high-scoring teams, especially, with the new kickoff rule.
This is the one boys 🤝🏻
Can you do 2 QB starting draft?
I live in Saskatchewan Canada and i cant get access to underdog fantasy
Only problem w/Jets is when K'arron Rodgers blows out the other achilles in game #2 of this season.
Since Cee Dee Lamb is holding out is he not considered a Top 3 Pick Risk?
Why does everyone ignore that Bijan had as many fumbles as rushing TD's?
Nobody is cause his usage alone outweighs fumbles. Same as Josh Allen, his usage outweighs his interceptions.

Fumbles lost are a fickle stat from year to year
Who would you suggest I keep between Ceedee for a 2nd round pick or Jonathan Taylor for a 7th round pick? 10 team full ppr league.
Lamb
Taylor + another stud
Full PPR means Lamb
Biggest problem with AJ Brown was the OC ran 12 different plays and they were predictable.
Ceedee Lamb is not a better pick than CMC imo. I don’t think CeeDee will ever top what he did last year.
I have a tough time deciding between AJ Brown and Puka Nukua in a full ppr league.
Brown easily. I like Nukua, but I see a regression in 24, especially with Kupp back healthy.
How can you say Wilson is miles off top ten but have a better chance at number 1 wr over ARSB?
While this isn’t at all a bad list or video when taken in no context, it’s like these guys don’t know how their own website’s fantasy football works.
I’m Underdog Best Ball there are 3 WRs started and only 2 RBs, leading to an inherent bias of valuing top end WRs more in the first two rounds
Got josh Kelley in the 5th
someone please explain how a guy from switzerland is playing i am from uk and cant play
Your government hates you :)
Wilson over Puka for me. Will match yards and have more tds
You must have some serious trust in Rodgers.. I think he is cooked
Dont sugarcoat how Justin Jefferson played those last 4 games with Nobodys at QB saying he was on pace for a 2000 yard season if they did that over 17 games. Thats Misleading. He had 2 Blow up games and 2 Sorry games. Now thats the Truth
why not Maine????
🤓 Keep 2: J.Chase in 3rd, Tank Dell as last pick, or Olave in 8th?!?? @ me please.
(other lock is Achane in 10th)
I will take Olav e in the 8th, no competition for him.
Great show

Im blessed i did a league with a bunch of friends and they let me get waddle at 58
Keep bijan or breece i got breece in like the 4th

Gross Gibbs above JT Gibbs 10-12 carries a game thts all, JT was #1 overall player 2 yrs ago he's only 25!
I dont think I've ever seen 2 jets in the top 10 fantasy rankings in my life
CEEDEE is not playing and hasn't played since last year. Dallas is a mess. I would pass on him unless I was 5th overall.
Am I tripping where is Chase at
Bijan has the second easiest RB schedule.
I’m hoping for bijan or hall at 7.
who knew Jim Gaffigan was also into fantasy football. good on ya Jim
As a reminder, the Vikings have a crappy QB situation and hamstring injuries have a way of coming back
I think Amon ra is better redraft player for his consistency
Wilson over Pucua every time
It's almost like you all can't put your finger on why Ja'Marr hasn't been having the seasons these other guys are having. Flip Ja'Marr & CeeDee (now that he got paid) if you're smart.
so, it is "all wrong" and then you basically list off the 85 percentile draft order with a couple small moves. lol.
Maybe I'm just a junkie for buff dudes but I can't stop taking DK Metcalf. Bounce back season is looming I think
