I remember a story my dad told me:
Once during a football game ⚽ (I think it was a Germany vs Mexico), one of the goals' net broke, so while they called the technicians to replace the net, one of the Mexican players untied his shoelaces and fixed the net.

I do love that sweetness, makes you feel good. I think it's so cool that in Mexican society the men are allowed to be sweet and show deep affection with each other and it's completely acceptable and it can even be something of a "show off" like showing others how high the level of your friendship is because deep friendship is something that is highly valued. And it makes you feel awesome!

Paul, you’re 100% right about Mexicans being “wired” to be resourceful AND it does go beyond doing it just it saves money. It is also very much ingrained in our DNA! I’m a Californian of Mexican heritage and a woman. My dad was an example for me. He was a mechanic who at times used aluminum foil or Pringle’s cans to solve issues temporarily until he bought the car part he needed! I can tell you that I solve problems around my house constantly in ways that are resourceful, like re-using ties that come in packaging to tie-back cables; re-using shoeboxes as storage boxes for important paperwork and using small produce bags to put my shoes in when I travel. I have more than enough money to buy stuff, but why?! One, it’s a waste of resources and two, those substitutions work just fine, thank you very much 😅

Could it be all these Mexicans watch your videos to practice their English? That, and the fact that you give Mexico a good name. Hi Uncle Paul, i hope you're having a great time with your family. You described very well the qualities of Mexicans. Maybe one bad thing we have is the we do important things at the last moment...🥺

You should film a video on Semana del emprendedor, it's insane how many people go there, I'm convinced every single mexican thinks of himself as an entrepreneur.

So true!! I'm a very shy mexican living in Germany. I remember before leaving Mexico to Germany a friend told me, you will be fit very well with the serius europeans.
Currently in Europe when I mention I'm from Mexico, they say I am a bit different mexican from all they've already met.

I'm Mexican American and I think I kind of get extra friendliness from Mexicans. Maybe because I'm kinda of both foreign and one of them at the same time. I love Mexico and feel like they treat me better than other Mexican Americans treat me.
