My dad said congratulations, now find a part time job to help pay for the differnce on the auto insurance increase. With males added to parents auto insurance the premium price goes up even more. The joys of growing up.

I loved it when my oldest got his drivers license, my husband died when my sons were quite young, so I had to do all the driving, errands etc. Having help driving was wonderful, he could run errands for me, go get milk, bread, what ever we needed. When we traveled, we took turns driving.
I started watching your channel when Henry was born at the gas station! I love watching your family grow. But most of all how you’ve have raised your children to be free thinkers. You guide them to figure life out. You listen to their ideas and give their ideas a try. You have created a wonderful team of homesteaders in your own family!

Dr from Connecticut - to meet all of you when Jonah was about 9 .Josiah and Jonah doing errands on their own - You re all to be commended 😊- I was a driving instructor for a short time - ( less than 6 months) .Have to say it was one of my most stressful jobs - even more so than being a school bus driver that lasted 25 yrs! Great job everyone ❤

When we first started watching your family my eldest who is also called Josiah was 4 almost 5, we started watching because he was obsessed with farming and he loved that your family also had a Josiah. Back then Jonah was younger than how old my Josiah is now. My Josiah is 11 and changed so much recently. I can sit and have adult conversations with him and he drives quads on our 40 acre property.

Congratulations Jonah! I have 3 kids all grown my baby is going to be 31 this year my oldest is 34, middle child is 32. It never gets easy seeing your babies grow up and become adults. Yet in the same breath watching them grow up into adults is amazing too. I am so proud of each of my kids they work hard and have their own homes. They are living a good wholesome life. I am so thankful that I am around to watch it all happen. To be here when they need guidance and just Mom time. 🤗💞

He has friends to hang out with and does way more with his life than just farm work. Not everyone "needs" a wild and crazy social life to be "happy". In fact, the mentally and emotionally healthier a person, the less social stimulation they need to be happy. Jonah seems to be a very well adjusted 16 year old and I hope he can continue to learn from other peoples mistakes and not have to make too many of his own.
