Happy new year guys! Great to have you back! I really enjoyed this live and I really love the ‘luxury mindset’ topic and 6 month check in videos. Kat - the problem with focusing on the behaviour you want to change (eg shopping / drinking / budgeting is that you need to dig in to the beliefs you hold and shift those beliefs BEFORE you will change the behaviour (because behaviour always follows underlying beliefs and values). So for example, at the point where you fancy a drink or a new handbag you hadn’t budgeted for, take a moment to write in a journal why you are tempted and ask yourself ‘why’ 5 times so you get to the core belief. Eg I want a drink to relax…if your core belief is that alcohol relaxes you, you can start to work on changing that belief by testing is it really true. So you know you sleep badly after drinking. Challenging and eventually changing the underlying belief will then change your behaviour. I have had loads of experience challenging myself in this way in 2024 and it’s incredible what shifts I have made. I think it’s a really interesting topic. I was always so confused why I found it so hard to change behaviour until I understood this concept! Hope it helps you reach your goals ❤
