    Adam, thanks for the vast amount of content you create and share on TH-cam. It's always spot on. So much information is "just ahead of the curve", keeping followers informed. Even as a seasoned WordPress user and graphic designer, when struggling with an issue I check out your channel before searching further for a solution. Saying a simple thank you seems a little lightweight, but truly a sincere, heartfelt thank you!

    I can certainly see how a wireframe might speed up the design process but I can also see why many don't use them.
    I tend to design websites mostly for one type of business niche. Having designed 10 or so examples I can send potential customers to view those to get an idea of what they might like.
    Also some customers really don't have a design mentality and showing them a wireframe might lead to so many extra questions. It should be easy for them to mentally imagine what it could like by replacing blank images with real ones, by changing a font and colours etc. However for many they really do seem to prefer to see something that looks more 'complete'.

      Completely agree. Being working in the industry for the last 10+ years, althought we do sometimes show full flows and wireframes, many decisions end up changing post the design stage cause once they see the UI they end up changing alot more.

      You pretty much summed it up. I conclude that for some clients and projects I use them but with many I don’t have a need.

      I agree..some clients almost get overwhelmed. Its similar to house staging..some people need to see something to sell a space.

    I would say I am small freelancer and for every project I use wire framing tool - whimsical. It is the best practice to show client the project is moving forward and to keep him interested when we get to writing the content phase, which is kind of long. I love to wireframe because I see that is it better fulfilment for my clients :)

    Great content Adam! I agree, creating wireframes are crucial for organizing your content on your site and getting a general idea on how things should be layed out.

    Hi Adam,
    It was a very helpful video! I am a startup owner, and we build several websites for our clients. I have been looking for a way to build better websites faster, and I think your process will definitely help. I have never really used Wireframe templates, but I think they will be a great addition to my process and business. I really appreciate you sharing this helpful information with us. I am sure it will help me a lot.

    Love the new sleek look! This setup is much better imo, clean and the BG isn't drawing all the attention or you're looking like the space around you is about to squeeze you )) I think you nailed it, Adam! Also love how the Mini-me (you) get's more respect

    Understanding your client’s mindset and then sending the design might save time. I believe sending wireframes for clients who ask for it saying “an example”.
    Most of the clients want the best for them and don’t care about how you do it.

    Thank you for all of your hard work, Adam. You’ve made me sound savvy many a times by just regurgitating and referencing these bits of content.

    All big agencies use wireframes as part of the ux phase. It helps get client approval quickly on content and you can get that locked without the client getting tunnel vision on vis design. It's crucial when you're working on huge corp sites. I even do it for smaller freelance sites. Wireframing kits that go down to an atomic level can be useful, but I would caution against using full section templates since they end up looking cookie cutter. That said, they might be useful for lower paying projects, where speed is essential for peak hourly rate.

    Very good video Adam! I do Webdesign and wireframes in the workflow are essential, my only problem is teaching each client to understand what wireframes are and their importance. Clients sometimes get apprehensive when they don't see the design right away.

      I totally agree. Some clients really struggle with visualizing the process and how the end product can/will look.

    Thanks Adam, useful content as always. Also, this format with you talking straight into the camera from behind the keyboard is excellent, feels more personal. Hope you do more of it. And +1 for Kadence wireframe blocks, great initiative from the Kadence team.

      Another +1 for Kadence. I've built two great websites merely using the free Kandence theme and blocks. Excellent products.

    I would like to have an e-commerce and a blog website. The only all-in-one wireframe requires me to go PRO. If I choose the free wireframe kit will I be able to add a blog page? Please help. I'm not finding any video tutorials that mention this.

      You are talking about lots of different things here. If you want to customize your blog page, with Elementor the only way to do it is with Elementor Pro.

    I tried that a few years ago but gave them up very quickly as my clients just did not have the imaginary prowess to understand what this is about. I actually lost a job because I showed them a wireframe. It all depends on your clients if you should use wireframes or a more finished design.

    I use wireframes when a customer has a good budget. Other times they just know what they want and want low cost implementation of their idea.

    Hi I need help! A lot of things are not clear about Ezoic up front. They do not tell you upfront that if you use Elementor or Astra or BLUEHOST etc. that you need to remove it immediately because it will slow your site down! Now they have added ads to my website and it is all messed up and to boot they have an adult entertainment ad on my homepage! I am sure I excluded this but here I am. This is ridiculous. Why don’t all the people recommending Ezoic mention these things??

    • @WPCrafter
      @WPCrafter  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have never mentioned Ezoic once in my entire life to anyone. I don't even think the word has come out of my mouth EVER!

    Wireframe = Empty Template

  • @believe-in-righteousness

    Seems like wireframes is just another template without any pictures and content. I rather use a proper template which is more better to use because you have everything to visualise your website

    • @StephenHoweUK
      @StephenHoweUK 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In Adams Video that is the case but wire framing is about not visualising the end result. It's UX and critical for driving efficient design processes.
      Have a look at Adobe XD or Figma and play around.
      His examples are because page and theme builders recognise beginners aren't wire framing and then spend too much tunnel vision on the creative element with little focus on the development process.

    • @believe-in-righteousness
      @believe-in-righteousness 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@StephenHoweUK well you can always customise any template to your liking. Its much better than wire framing. That's my experience.

  • @believe-in-righteousness
    @believe-in-righteousness 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I would never use wireframe because it seems like a backwards idea compared to a full template
