Lovely site, like the Idea of fully serviced.
Disgrace about the coastal erosion. Norfolk is disappearing. Government can give billions to other countries but can't help our own out with sea defenses.
Going to the poppy line again this year. Love that Norfolk railway. Got a 9F loco there. Just done an unboxing on my channel, if you still like the railways Mike.
Got to make a note of that site, half mile walk to the sea, fish and chips and a pub, wow what more could you want.

Loved looking at that as a kid unless i’m totally wrong but i’m sure i remember a work colleague telling me about it later on in life too , yes shame about our coastline disappearing , all up the east coast pretty much

Hello Sean & thanks for commenting and watching our videos it’s much appreciated, it’s been a while now since we downsized and have got used to it and enjoy it , yes consorts exactly the same , good vans just a few things in different places and a few changes that’s about it but if your buying new then you can ask to have a almost anything where you want it anyway , most converters will work along with you to get your ideal set up 👍

Hi trev & Sue , weather has been a joke lately ! Currently at Chatsworth house site , pouring down 😭 will head over to the house later , not sure if they allow filming 🤷🏽♂️
@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel We did some filming in the house. It’s lovely and there are some beautifully presented rooms. Have a great break, walking in the grounds is also amazing with the farm shop, formal gardens and fabulous bridges and lakes. Very relaxing 🙂 enjoy 💙 Trev

Hello Mike and Kirsty, loved your video, the campsite looked lovely was it Nelson s Patch? the cake looked yummy. Yes we tend to drink tea or coffee and eat cake. Wow it looked windy and cold, We were away last weekend at Barnard Castle and we had 40mph winds. What is happening to the weather. Thank you for sharing, take care both x Julie and Tony x
yes totally crazy weather lately julie don’t know what’s going on , so unsettled ! we can’t plan anything & never know what to wear ! 😂 can’t wait to get back up to Scotland one day soon

As I saw the bike I thought, fish and chips run 😂, well got the food but no run, shame about the weather but that's the way it is at times as you know, cracking night time sky shots, cake and coffee ☕, thats camping for you, and an afternoon nap 😴 of course, anyway another enjoyable vlog keep them coming 👍.
Hi stephen , yeah first time ever fish n chips without the run , that was the gales to blame !… it really was blowing and it’s a bit of a pain setting up the cameras outside and getting them all correct , kirsty was getting impatient and we were starving so i ditched the plan , dropped the cameras and just went , no fun at all biking in that weather 😂 but yes that’s camping ! Gotta be prepared for anything

The site has everything you need so next time we’re in Norfolk we may give it a go. Cake looked yum. Is the beach dog friendly all year round? Take care Gill
hi gill i’m sure it’s dog friendly all year yes but it’s such a huge beach there’s places you can go and see absolutely no one , well worth a visit if you are over that way

We've booked 5 nights at Nelson's Patch in May because of your trips, we had to reschedule from February due to illness and the owner was great, allowing us to move the booking at the very last minute. Great email communication and super service. Fabulous recommendation from you both, thank you!

Hi roger thanks , we bought an avtex tv with soundbar and just have the standard tv aerial on top , plus we always take our amazon firestick with us and stream from that if we have poor tv signal ( as long as your phone service provider has a decent enough signal for your hotspot )

We’ve been about 8 times but usually stay on the pub site, it is wonderful in Walcott, a great beach, and the poachers isn’t too bad either..
yes i saw the poachers is that the pub on the front where the vans park in the car park ? wondered if it was a brit stop or something
@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel Yes it is, you can park up for 24hrs by buying food/drinks etc and putting your reg no in the screen on the bar.

Hello Mike and Kirsty. Can I ask why you downsized from a motorhome to a campervan?
Hi Andrew , before i went to coachbuilts i’d had a couple of van conversions years ago and missed being able to park anywhere , e.g leaving site and going to a supermarket , being able to park in any parking space and on the street without worrying about the width , the manoeuvrability of a van conversion, easier maintenance inc washing it ! , not worrying about narrow lanes as most CS & CL’s are in the middle of nowhere , also being 3500kg as the last coachbuilt was 4250kg so had to drive a fair bit away for its MOT , i can name many reasons , but space and storage is the downside , we’ve learnt to just carry less now and try to abide by the one up one down rule , i do miss the interior space of a coachbuilt but the benefits (for me) outweigh the negatives , Hope that helps

That’s a massive help. As I’m thinking of doing the same. For all the reasons you said. Makes more sense. I have a bessacarr 494. And does cause problems when parking. Nice to know to get some feedback from someone like yourself that has done this.
