Installing a STARLIGHT HEADLINER in my SINGLE CAB SILVERADO.

- In this video I installed a black suede headliner with a 300 piece starlight kit in my 2000 chevy silverado RCSB. This took a total of 2 full days of work without the time it would take for me to wrap the headliner myself. Over all I love ether way it looks and wouldn't change anything. I think 300 stars is the perfect amount for my single cab, but that's just my opinion.
Thanks for watching if you have any questions comment down below.

Yo please make more videos! I don’t know how you only have 39 subs. You made this look so easy, I’m dreading doing the starlights but I know it will be worth it in the end.😂
Nice the easiest way is to get the foam glue is to use acetone and scrap and if you break your headliner use fiberglass matt
I literally did mine yesterday and used an 80 grit flap wheel and it worked great but…. Im now part Fiberglas
We’re did you hide the box?
Where did you hide the box ?
I’m pretty sure that extra wire near the overhead console is for a powered mirror, like a compass mirror
what kind of wire did you use to run to the fuse box ?
Random wire is for compass/thermometer in mirror
How much lights did you use
is this the same on a 2001?
awesome video. On the plug from the light motor there is a power and ground cable, but on the fuse tap, there is only a red wire. where did you ground the other wire at ?
On my ground for the subwoofer I have in the back, but I'm sure any ground works even if you need to make a new one.
How many feet was your fibers
How did you wire it up, my kit only came with the wall plug in and the car plug in, am I supposed to cut one, if so which one ?
It doesn't matter. I don't remember witch one I cut. You don't have to do it the way I did if you have an open port, but the fuse is just cleaner. Just cut one end off and splice it together with that wire fuse tap thing.
Thank you so much 🙏
So do you have to cut them fully once there inside or dose it matter
You should cut them after installing the headliner so you make sure they don't pull out.
I can’t turn my lights on unless I connect them directly into my house power
What happens if you don’t use the wire fuse and run it straight to the battery
Most use 12v power so if you can use a fuse it might work.
How did you connect the wire to the fuse?
Spliced it together.
truck is clean bro
Thanks bro means a lot. Follow me on Tiktok @staticsinglecab
Hey boss what fuse do you put over the original fuse for the wire
If the kit you use comes with a cigarette plug that's intended to power the box you can open it (the plug in itself) to see what fuse it has then use that size.
What gauge wire did you use?
I don't remember, it was what we had laying around. Was about the size of speaker wire.
did you have to ground the wires?
Don't think I did the fuse should be grounded
what size of the headliner did you get
96 × 60 was plenty had lots of extra
Hey man what kind of sub box is that
The exact name on amazon is "Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-10T Single 10" 300-Watt Amplified Truck Sealed Box Subwoofer".
What kit did you use?

if you were going to spray paint the attatchments that go on the headliner couldn’t you have just taped the headliner around it and spray painted it like that instead of taking it all out?
Yes if u aren't going to take the headliner all the way out. It was just easier for me to remove it.
@@cooperaldrigeok thankyou- im just not very good with wires so i don’t think i could do that
You should have poked the holes before taking it to get a new liner
Thanks for watching. Feel free to ask any questions, I will be sure to reply to them.
since it’s tapped in into the fuse, does the starlights turn on when the key is inserted ?
@@sealbaby2473 yes, I can also turn it off with the remote and app on my phone
About how long would you say this takes? I’m thinking about doing it on my 06 single cab with 300 lights also
@@davidlugo7209 it took me a good weekend of work
Did you use 2 fuses for the top of the tap? And how did you connect the cigarette plug wire to the tap?
Link for the headliner?
The material is linked.
@@cooperaldrige thank you clean truck btw bro🔥
@@JoseRamirez-bc9yc made a new video tn on my new wheels. Should be out tmr.
That’s the most ghetto thing ever lights on a headliner lol a kid might like that
Why did you watch the video then? I guess only a kid would watch this video.
Lol who ever puts lights on a headliner does not have good taste that’s hilarious 😂
Just buy a truck with a moon roof and go get a bong & Drops of Jupiter CD & you'll be star gazing in no time! Neon wire lume under the hood and some Christmas lights under the frame with icicle lights draping off the front & back bumpers will put this ride in another dimension! 💯 👍🤣
