I just discovered your channel. I love your Tahoe Limited. I just picked up a 2000 Tahoe Z71 which was a one year package offered just like the Limited. I will be looking for a Limited Tahoe in the future to add to my fleet.
Thanks, it's a great truck. I'm actually gathering interior parts to get it all back together this year. It was trashed when i purchsed it. Still needs a bit of work but the bones are great. Perfect engine, ac, just rewired the sound system. Perfect for a shop truck hauler. 👍
can't wait to see the 5.3 in action man! I still have steering/suspension to finish up before I can start saving for a motor / tranny / 4x4 xfer case on my 91 k2500. I'm going to hunt for a 6.0 when i do start looking. The tahoe looks good too man. Wishin I had a garage myself to do all of this.
Little by little it will happen. Sounds like you have a cool project going on too. I waited almost a year to get that engine. I wanted a 6.0 but settled when I found this one. Im just enjoying the process 😁
Thanks 👍When this was shot it was strait piped. I agree it does sound good. For me it got old after a year being really loud so I am adding in Flowmaster super 10s will clean the sound a little but still be rough and loud.
Depends on how well they were taken care of over the years. If left outside and uncovered, yes. The rear windows which can no longer be purchased the glue behind the seals wear out and crack. Also the 3rd brake light, the roof racks too. It's a pretty easy fix once you have narrowed the leak to a specific area. Mine no longer leaks since I fixed them almost 2 years ago.
Considering I removed a 6 inch lift kit from this tahoe yes. I wanted a lifted one for a while. So I installed a rough country 6 inch ift. Then decided I wanted it dropped again and removed it. Life is strange 😁
@@jeffklonowski6816 I prefer it this way too. Keep in mind most 2inch spindles push the wheel out a bit. If it is in the budget get the ones that don't. 2inch springs can be picked up anywhere. Also don't go to cheap on rhe drop shocks all around it does effect the ride. Good luck 👍
Bro, I wouldn't use dish soap to clean your vehicle. It has detergents in it that strip the wax. Even though you said it's getting painted, I wouldn't want you to keep using dish soap on the new paint.

Yup, they were still in my storage unit that day. They are in now though, front and back. We drove slowly around the street then back. She ran out of the house when she heard the truck start. Such a great helper how could I say no 😁

What do you do if the bushing keeps twisting ?
If the bushing has to much play its the right time to replace it. Place the jack under it and keep the pressure of the vehicle on it.

what did you buy to drop the front 2 inches ? was it a easy process ?
There is another video in my trucks playlist showing the front. Its not hard to do. 2 inch drop springs or 2 inch spindles will do the trick.
