OBS Clash Build Tahoe Part 1 - Repairing and Restoring a Customized Tahoe Limited SUV

The now classic Chevrolet CK or OBS Sport Truck is one of the hottest (priciest) rides of this generation. While everyone wants that retro single-cab truck, the SUVs of the era, including the iconic Tahoe have the same style, and platform and are easier to find for less.
And we are starting off with a special edition Tahoe based on a Tahoe SS concept that was never made. In the year 2000, as new body-style trucks and SUVs were on their way....Chevrolet combined the increased handling and performance of the Police Package Tahoe, with some styling cues from the Tahoe SS and all the luxury of the time period they could to produce only 8,500 Tahoe Limited SUVs.
For the first episode, we take a look at the unique features that make the one-year-only 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Limited and the repair and restoration work needed before we dive into customizing the SUV. From replacing broken door handles and accessories to swapping outdated tail lights for modern and clean LED lights all around.
In the next video, the Tahoe will head to Auto Sauce for a complete detail and paint correction in an attempt to revive the 20-plus-year-old black paint.

I just got a clean 92 2 door yukon for 3k dollars. It's got a brand new engine and all new hoses replaced and a brand new radiator. Interior is in mint condition.

My '99 Tahoe with the 5.7 has 330,000 miles and is a daily driver. Work truck. Needs suspension work but runs and drives pretty darn good

I have 1993 extended cab long bed and I love it it needs some work but I have it slammed on 20 inch rally wheels, two tone paint job hood cowl just need bags and a new engine and a new suspension lol 😂

Why they put the yukon grill on the tahoe?

The factory grill was broken and the GMC front end looks better and allowed for the large billet grill insert.
