I once RAN away from a bombing run, I was literally just outside of the blast zone and survived, If you’ve never ran away and survived one it’s some top quality scare material
It’d be even better if they added more destructive landscapes, like for example if that bombing run hit that small town they are holding up in it would level most of the buildings, or atleast the one the LMG is posted up in since you know, the bombs went off literally right under him…
Ubergun, but, i think there should be a timer on it in the game for it to be intermittent, in real life it was not possible to go cyclic with the gun without melting the barrel. Just a couple of seconds would be justified, but thats just my opinion.
Germans used to piss on the barrels to cool em off. Our guys would do the same with the ma' deuce and a few other full autos we had in that era. They'd piss on mortar tubes too. The smell would be god awful, but it worked.
I really wish they added a category on the scoring screen that showed how much suppression you provided, even better if we got credited with assists in any kills our suppression caused
Those explosions looks so fantastic. These are probably the most realistic I have ever seen on a videogame. No wonder this game is very demanding on specs

To put some math on it, he fired for a conservative estimate of 13 seconds in the video. A 42 fires about 25 rounds per second. That would mean that the drum would hold a minimum of 325 rounds.
Born in ‘71 and got a Pong console for Xmas when I was 5 or 6. Played DOS shooters like Wolfenstein and Doom and got Intellivoice in ‘82-83 to hear the first video game voice in B-17 Bommmber… Love seeing how far games have come.
I swear man, one of the funniest moments I ever had in this game was a in a house. I was told to hold that house by my squad leader since I was the machine gunner, there was five other machine gunners, all on the windows. One guy was a medic, another guy was support or something tossing ammo around. I accidentally whacked a guy with my shovel and he's like "Did you just hit me with a shovel?" We both ended up laughing our asses off as he got healed by the medic, I apologized and we went back to mowing down scrubs like grass on a lawn. Same guy is in the room over and he's like "Y'know, I wonder why they keep running towards machine guns. You'd think they'd stop coming this way, but nOoo~" Everybody in that house laughed.
Had been recently killed by my teammate because I was sniping from a window he told me to move so I responded, “Does it have your name on it ?” 😂😂 … Killed In Action
It's very easy to pick off a MG who gives away his position like that... funny how the uploader of this video replied to some people how good he is at MG while he does alot wrong in this video lol.
As a uploader of this small clip from long game i can say that. Defended that flag against lot of attacks and we won. Managed to kill lot of em. So yeah not first time in that attic that game

Also doubt that bombing run was intended for you, you made yourself a easy enough target already by giving away your position like that
@@handofdoom3373 Yeah I'm hesitating beetween the two, and I thought PS was more realistic, plus there is the French now too (I'm French so it's nice to see us represented also) and it's made by a French team if I remember correctly but HLL has realistic maps and has now the eastern front. To engage myself in one of them I really want to find a community first to have some real fun in teamplay.

In reality, how you fire the MG is not with constant auto fire. Basically the firing is set at about 2 to 3 second bursts of auto fire. And when you fire, arc the fire like a sweeping fire from side to side.
