Yeah... it's true that you are just a cog in the machine. But Foxhole reward you with... "those moments". I remeber been in the middle of an absolute meatgrinder. I jump in a trench with a few random friendly pinned down by a bunch of enemy soldiers. I cought my antagonist by surprise and mow down a number of them with my Dusk machine gun. Then we hold the trench for some time but we had to retreat. During the retreat i got hit and i was about to bleed out. One of the random firendly turn back, pick me up, carry me to a medic and simply say to the Doc "Take good care of him". I felt like an hero for one hour.😭
Even more fun fact, since he joined after the Manacle fell, the first grenade that killed him was a Wadern (his team's) grenade, looted from the Manacle Armories. How do I know this? Because I am a Colonial (the green guys) and 3 days ago we were losing territory because so many people where waiting to "open the lootbox" of Manacle after it fell rapidly 2 days prior (5 from when this clip was uploaded) and now we Colonials get to use stolen Warden equipment for a while. Edit: Also second fun fact, there is a uniform that let's you TK without being reported (You can still be temp banned for excessive TK though) and yes, both Colonial and Warden LARP regiments will(sometimes) shoot people who retreat.
For aiming at a guy, the white line represents bullet travel, the dot is where it lands, if you go outside the white line you get low accuracy and low damage, and if you see a red line it means the bullet is obstructed by something, with a yellow line off the dot showing the height of the current dot location, so if you are shooting a guy at the same elevation as you and see a yellow line, you are not aiming at him as something is obstructing your vision, such as 11:45 ish where you started shooting a fuel tower instead of him due to your camera angle having that be where your cursor aims when looking that way
@@Ratmothy also if you do make a logi video or any video related to larger parts of the map...or even use the map in general, it's frowned upon to show current war footage of such things as people often scour it for intel to use against the other faction otherwise, enjoy the long war we have going on!
By the way, the wars don’t actually last forever. The longest war recently was war 100 which lasted over 50 days, but typical length is 20-40 days. I’d also be happy to meet up in game and teach you some things about frontlining, Logi or tanking
@@Ratmothy I don’t know if that’s a thanks for the offer or if you want to take me up on it, I can send disc if you want to meet up in game. Otherwise that’s fine.
I mean the war just resets every time someone wins, usually with the same map division (Colonials in the south and Wardens in the north), so it functionally is the same war fought endlessly
Some tips: middle mouse button to rotate camera, H to mark spots, the white line on the rifle is your effective range, past that does 1/10th of base damage, and cook grenades by holding mouse button for a couple seconds before throwing O yeah if you have more questions feel free to ask the world chat (press enter, then tab until you get to it).
@@Ratmothyif you run on the road instead of rough ground you will lose less stamina. However make sure you aren't in the middle of the road otherwise you may get run over accidentally by friendly vehicles.
Guys, if you want to find long time friends, immersive battles, slavery and more - join a clan! You're mostly wecome in many, and it really saves your time when you want to use a tank or have a lot of advantage on the front
When you go to the Deployment, you'll spawn into *Basic Training* before choosing the map location. Run around basic training and try out the guns, ammo, vehicles, and read the signs on how to effectively fight. The worst part of this game is Logistics and watching the front liners let all of our hardwork despawn on the ground lol.
Quick tips: The shooting in this game is hit scan (the tracers are just there for pretty visuals) so you don't need to lead your target (Unless they are Australian in which case aim three to six miles ahead of them to account for the upside down ping) When fighting in open barren fields, grenades become fairly useless. Literally everywhere else they are the emperors of the battlefield. When in doubt, grenade it out! Tanks have an extremely difficult time looking anywhere but in front of them. When night falls, grab some AT and ruin their day! While there are a lot of high-strung players, many of the tank drivers are fairly chill. If it looks like they have an extra seat (usually the machine gun), just ask if you can hop in. More often then not they will be happy to have a little extra help! I write this comment just after the end of war 115 (suck it Wardens!) as a Colonial anti-tank infantry focus. I hope these tips find you well and increase your odds of making a meaningful impact on the battlefield...

This is a game where you can spend 3-4 IRL days fighting over a single town. This is a game where you can leave a battle at a bridge for a week and come back to find that the battle for the bridge is still going.
For anyone who is new here are 2 things I can tell you about that will make your life a lot better 1. Press the windows key-> go to mouse setting-> go to additional mouse options-> click on the check box that says "Click Lock" then press okay. This will make so if your holding down left click it will hold it for you after doing it for a few seconds, really good for repairing or build or gathering from fields. Note make sure to turn it off in front lines when your fighting. 2. Press Enter key-> press the Ctrl key and W key in the chat box-> then press the Enter key once more. This will make you auto run, and drive which makes it a lot better the having to hold W key when doing long travels, think of it like cruise control. Keep in mind this is also true in revers (S key). Note to get out of cruise control just press the W key once and you will stop.
Cruise control is great, but I don't like doing it like that, so I have a nut on a bolt that's heavy enough to depress my W key when I need cruise control lol
I think it's really cool how, at the beginning, you can physically _see_ the difference between the area with all the buildings and the scarred, grey, barren ground with the trenches!
It's a whole mechanic as well called devastation, it's not just visual, structures built on devastated ground have less health and such. So gameplay and visuals can be heavily affected by long arty bombardments.
The game itself looks cool but the community looks even better! It's refreshing to see people having fun and helping each others out today! Good video bud

I am a veteran since war 80, and i can tell you I've seen a lot. There's a lot of consistent experiences with some of the bridges, but I think my most memorable moment was single handedly holding down a flank in one of the 90's wars, I think it was 93 or 98, I forget. This war was your typical horizontal split for this game, and we had managed to begin a pincer maneuver with our flanks and we had really stretched thin. We went up through the fingers, took the Endless shore, then pushed all the way up to the tempest island bases, taking all but a couple smaller ones on the opposite sides of their bridges. Problem was, while we had a lesser garrison holding those islands, I noticed that we only had a couple of trucks coming to us. Then one, then he retired. We made some calls out to Logistics, but they were ignoring us, talking about how they have more important priorities in the center and they couldn't send supplies to us that far out, since the trip time would take to long. So, after realizing that we weren't going to push beyond this base, our medical supplies dwindled, and I got tired of scrapping things from the line back, I decided to take a truck and go do logistics. It was great that I did too, as it turned out that I was the only truck willing to make the drive inland, but it didn't start that way. At first I did test runs to other bases, grabbing some of their stocked supplies from the sunk in war prior, and established a good foundation for us to have gear to last for awhile. Packing in medical supplies, grenades, guns, ammo, whatever. Then I started to run those as dry as I felt comfortable with given the fact we may collapse tonight. Long story short, eventually I began to find crates at the harbors and factories and was the lone logistics for HOURS that night, eventually taking on all of the active fronts and having to drive all the way to base to get crates. Had I not been there to decide to do that, the whole eastern front would have no doubt collapsed that night. People were praising me with every delivery, and when I checked in the next day, we had pushed them back further north. It was great.

I used to take a ton of ammo, and a secondary, the area I fought was pretty empty... the second time I jumped on, there were machinegun nests in the spot we'd taken. After getting behind it, I gave it a break. I came back when tanks shown up and they had 3 tanks and armored cars pushing around the gate. I love that there is so much more equipment and weapons still showing up.
thank you Foxhole for recommending me this man not only is his Foxhole Content fantastic, the Squad 44 (Post Scriptum) and Squad gameplay is also great 🗣
one day I fought for 3 days straight at 1 bridge and killed around 50-100 enemys and holded the line nearly solo with just 3 guys and 2 of them brought me ammo , the enemys just could not get true because I had a stationary grenadelauncher . after that battle I was known as the soilder that killed a hole battalion . that was the craziest experience ever ... thx for the two guys that brought me ammo without you WE whould not made it
What would be awesome if there was a role of Commander, they wouldn't participate in the battle itself, but have a UI of the entire battlefield and send commands to each platoon to carry out. Would help with coordination, instead of each platoon just doing their own thing.
I mean, that goes to each regiment, there is an officer uniform that allows players to kill members of their own regiment without penalization (It's required to be an officer in a regiment to equipt it) but yeah to command people you must first organize them in a regiment
Seems like the algorithm blessed this video. For good reason too this was really funny, you deserve more subscribers. I would totally watch more videos on this game.
I fuckin love this game so much. It’s all the better with an actually organized regi. I did an op with mine last attackin a relic base, I forgor which region 💀, and it took about 2 hours to get all the shells and artillery to the front line but it was hell for the enemies when we got just 3 guns online. Within an hour we had shot 8 pallets of 120 mm and halfway through another crew with 2 guns a lil down the road joined in the fray. It was glorious in every since pf the word we struck a bridgehead congested with wardens and red ran between the pavers.
God this game was so fun. I remember trying to take this key bridge we needed. The fighting lasted nearly a week, a week in real time, for a single bridge lmao. I remember the dopamine spike when we finally took it, felt like heroin.
Quick note: you better change that title fast. Or else you're going to get a million comments saying how you're wrong... unless that's what you want. Play the algorithm and all that.
Ahaha yeah I realized it wasn't forever after a comment told me... but then I didn't know what to change the title to ;-; I shall beg for forgiveness for my sins
It's nuts because I was here for this battle, fighting somewhere IN this battle (as a Warden, screw goblins) I remember fighting alongside Biggus Dickus too
This video, the 2 minutes of it I watched, made me want to die for my sanity. Ok ok ok ok ok ok. I want to die for my sanity, for my sanity. Ok ok ok ok ok ok
I've been playing FH for a long time and it's one of those games that gives you great stories/memories. I remember being in one of like 6 foxholes, one guy was with me.. he gets hit and goes down. Tells me he needs help.. I'm trying to pick him up and then I see a grenade sail through the air and land in our hole.. I bail out of the hole and start running for my life.. I can hear him screaming as I get further and further away.. NO PLEASE HELP ME.. DONT LET ME DI... BOOM. He's gone. Me and my buddy were in the mountains fighting rock to rock, I knelt down to reload.. and I see a single dude running towards me.. No one is shooting him, I guess they're facing the other way.. I'm mid reload.. he bayonets me in the chest... my friend shoots him while wheeze laughing down the mic. In 100+ hours we had never seen anyone bayonet charge, I didn't even know you could. Hiding in the grass from tanks is a nail biting experience too.
Every time I have a Idea for a New game, TH-cam next day "Hey you know you had a game idea that you never searched? Here is the video of the that is already made"
If you really enjoy the game, you can try to be a logistic & a builder, these 2 are either the best or the worst players in game and will have so much fun and a super powerful force for your side if you're good at it.

I came back when tanks shown up and they had 3 tanks and armored cars pushing around the gate.
I love that there is so much more equipment and weapons still showing up.
I love how accurate the entire situation is: "I wanna die for my country" 3 seconds later: "MOMMY, MOMMY I'M SCARED", the guy on fire "OUEEGGGGGH".
Part 2 in the works!
thank you Foxhole for recommending me this man
not only is his Foxhole Content fantastic, the Squad 44 (Post Scriptum) and Squad gameplay is also great 🗣
Thank you good sir :)
"Is that a grenade? What is that?"
*kaboom*
Planetside 2 is a never ending war too. Once one planet locked, the others are ready for the taking
Literally underrated creator😊
Thank you :D
14:00 bro hit the thousand yards dance
Ahahaha
Ratmothly: "Is that a grenade?"
Grenade; "Actually, I'm a pineapple."
Wait till he hears about Anvil Empires, I'm so hyped for it.
such an underrated youtuber. This dude's gonna blow up
Hey hey I really appreciate it
Kind of reminds me of planetside 2. I wish there more games like that.
one day I fought for 3 days straight at 1 bridge and killed around 50-100 enemys and holded the line nearly solo with just 3 guys and 2 of them brought me ammo , the enemys just could not get true because I had a stationary grenadelauncher .
after that battle I was known as the soilder that killed a hole battalion .
that was the craziest experience ever ...
thx for the two guys that brought me ammo without you WE whould not made it
What would be awesome if there was a role of Commander, they wouldn't participate in the battle itself, but have a UI of the entire battlefield and send commands to each platoon to carry out. Would help with coordination, instead of each platoon just doing their own thing.
And we could have a Monty Python skit going.... "You're the Commander? Well I didn't vote for you!"
I mean, that goes to each regiment, there is an officer uniform that allows players to kill members of their own regiment without penalization (It's required to be an officer in a regiment to equipt it) but yeah to command people you must first organize them in a regiment
I’m glad you joined the correct side! I’m leader rid a mid sized warden regiment in one of the largest warden coalitions
this video is great
thanks for introducing so many new players to the game
Great vid man! Keep em coming
Thank you!!
Remember playing this game for the first time a few years ago as part of a clan from a streamer. Ended up playing until like 4am lol
Good job joining the wardens (you picked the right side)
God this game was so fun. I remember trying to take this key bridge we needed. The fighting lasted nearly a week, a week in real time, for a single bridge lmao. I remember the dopamine spike when we finally took it, felt like heroin.
Quick note: you better change that title fast. Or else you're going to get a million comments saying how you're wrong... unless that's what you want. Play the algorithm and all that.
Ahaha yeah I realized it wasn't forever after a comment told me... but then I didn't know what to change the title to ;-; I shall beg for forgiveness for my sins
@@Ratmothy haha fair enough
@@RatmothyKeep the same title just add (lying) to the end
Had to watch on mute because you literally NEVER stfu but man this game looks great! Definitely gonna try it
Yells and repeats things twice, super annoying.
I love that you spent the first 3 mins with an empty gun, I did the same thing my first day 10/10
It's nuts because I was here for this battle, fighting somewhere IN this battle (as a Warden, screw goblins)
I remember fighting alongside Biggus Dickus too
Whaaat?! A real time war that shows war progress?! WITH BOTH TEAMS BEING ACTIVE PLAYERS?! I need to join!
This video, the 2 minutes of it I watched, made me want to die for my sanity. Ok ok ok ok ok ok. I want to die for my sanity, for my sanity. Ok ok ok ok ok ok
Might just join this game from the introduction alone this is intresting asf
"is that a grenade?"
Grenade: "Allow me to introduce myself..."
This guy is fucking hilarious and seriously underrated
Why thank ye good sir
Been meaning to play this game for years. Might actually buy it now.
What happens if extremely good players get together and take over the entire map
This is like a ww1 top down version of Planetside. That game was amazing.
This game looks sick!
I love how helpful everyone was
I was part of an artilerry team as a gunner, manning a biggg gun, adjusting as the scout read us the coordinates, Good hits after good hits and we spent around 2 hours doing the same shit, aahh COVID times
'biggus dickus has caused excessive friendly fire' made me giggle a little.
5:35…absolutely hilarious. Last words of confusion and then laughing at the pearly gates to respawn lol
Same bro 😂😂😂
an rts like this would be nice where it never stops ,u need to make aliances and defend your kingdom and people help you against raids
That was entertaining i watched the whole thing. You should play fear and hunger
Imagination disposes of everything; it creates beauty, justice, and happiness, which are everything in this world.
"You only need 1 clip, because there's ammo on the field and you're probably gonna die very quickly"... Sums up war in 1 sentence.
