I really don't know why you are making this up here. The main problem were the repair costs back then which could lead to negative income after matches where you simply didn't perform well. The higher the BR, the higher the repair costs (but in the same time it was more common to have bad matches in higher BRs). They rolled this back entirely and implemented that you can not have repair costs that are higher than your match-income. All I see is people who refuse spending money for a premium account moaning and crying over slower progression rates. I mean this is a free to play game. The devs are constantly patching this game for 12 years now, they are organizing events, bringing new content, VR-support for PC, graphics- and sound-enhancements, PS5 support. Do you really think this will come for free? For myself, I know that I want to give the Devs something back, which is my premium account. For other games, I would pay 69,99€ once but I would put the game away after finishing it. I am playing War Thunder since the Beta of Ground Forces on a more or less regular basis. So please stop criticizing a Dev-Team for trying to make some money for their (mostly really good) work withing a free to play title.
