You are definitely not a beginner. You did the right thing by taking your time to get familiar with the track at first. I would think a coach would get that. Glad a different coach realized that you were more advanced. Looks like a fun track! I’ve never done a track day, but I think it would do me some good to try it sometime.
@@sunny7L Mine is all stock for now. Awesome bike for me! I do have the Akrapovic slip on, but I doubt that will do anything for performance, other than make it sound better. I think KTM really nailed it with the improvements for 2022.
Your mid corner speed in is very high in many corners. I even question the accuracy of the speedo:) 1:46 is certainly decent for an rc at nyst, and is VERY good for the first day. Are you running ktm oem QS? I switched mine off as it was unreliable. Also, are you running pirellis here?
thank you (: your video was one of the very few i've found of small bikes scooting around the track, so likewise to you! i am running the oem QS but i don't use it for downshifts past 3rd (not that i ever really go into 2nd anywhere here) because i get false neutrals all the time -- upshifts haven't been an issue for me. if yours is a 2022+, grey area ktm makes a shift shaft support that might help with the reliability
@@sergema7388 from what i was able to access, 140 is available only in slicks and sc3 only comes 160. OEM rear tire for a '22 390 is 150. that being said i'm thinking about changing over to slicks for 2024 on the 390 and would then run a 140
Sc3, Aka TD, do come in 140. They last a bit longer than SC1/2 slicks. Right now i have SC1 slick in front and SC3 140 in rear. This is a frequently used combo. SC3 can also be used without warmers.
the highest i've seen (was going up a hill, bouncing off the rev limiter) was 109. i assume it can go 1 - 2mph faster than that. it crawls up there though, you need a really long straight.
NYST is home for me love this place great laps... #TraxStarz

you should. the rc390, even in stock form (which mine basically is), is built for the track. such a fun bike.

yes, was riding on pirellli trackday sc3 front and rear, 110 & 160; front & rear. supposedly similar to their slick compounds
160?? Or 140? 140 is what everyone runs on these bikes.

What is the cost of this kit you installed???
Please reply…….
if you mean the fairings, somewhere around 800 usd, sticker kit on it was another 110. let me know if that helps.
What’s your top speed on the rc390
