Back in the day when kissing on the mouth was not feared, the funky chicken dance dominated, kids drinking out of garden hoses was a nightly thing and nobody died from it, ALL kids in the neighborhood played baseball in the street until nightfall, the "bomb-pop" man drove by every evening to bring us popsicles for a dime, and the Ed Sullivan show guests were what we anticipated ALL WEEK. A great time to be alive.
