Redcat sourced these from Team Magic. As the OEM producer Team Magic have a 4s version of this with a center diff and beefy upgrades. I've got one and on 4s it's an absolute animal.
Very nice truck. You're the first one I've seen on TH-cam who has one. I have 12 Red Cats and my MT/10 has had by far the least problems because nothing breaks. As you can see, she's built like a tank and you can jump it all day. My Blackout is next. The blackout is like it's made of rubber or something. But this thing is a tank. Mine is the old Team Red Cat version and is the orange one. It's always run 3s. Have fun with that. Some of these new remotes have variable power settings. Are you sure it's turned all the way up? It handles better in grass. Loose dirt is hard on all of them. Easily pulls a wheelie in grass. You should Velcro the bottom of the body sides. The rear tire grabbed it and creased it. You should do this with all your trucks. It make the body much stronger. Yes, Red Cat does use Hobbywing ESCs and no, Hobbywing program cards don't work and NO, Red Cat doesn't sell program cards. At least they never did. Bummer.
I’ve owned like 50 RC’s. Arrma, Losi, TEKNO, Serpent, Traxxas, Mugen, Team Associated etc and yes this is brutally tough, BUT the servo saver and horn are a problem. Always have been. I love it though! Mine after 1 or 2 runs went up a notch with the shocks. Better for jumping lifted.
Got the redcat blackout exc and put a hobby wing 4000kv motor esc,using a zeee 5200mah 3s 80c,and that thing is a rocket! Put axle extenders on it,and some proline badlands and I love it.also have a extremely heavily moded gen 7 pro.1800kv fusion pro,winch,metal bumpers and mounts,all the lights and light bar,sound box,treal weighted rims,aluminum portals,and to top it all off,a chevy square body.its my pride and joy out of all my rc's.that includes 2 nitros,a 1/5th scale baja,and the new promoto by losi! Also fly helis,and I have 7 of those in my fleet.been doing the hobbies for 40 years!

I always forget about Redcat but they have some great stuff! This one does have some dodge vibes going on. I know of another brand that shreds axles everytime you run 3s! So it's better there! 😂😂
You can get the sway bars for cheap but the center diff has always been pricey. I love mine without a CD! Wheels and servo saver are the weak links. I have broke the servo saver a few times.

@@damedcamera I sell these at my shop with nearly zero complaints..Super-hard bashers will sometimes snap the ear off the steering rack but thats about it.. Solid rigs
nice rig lyle if that programmer is a crawler programmer it won't work but the normal program port is where the fan plugs in or that what it is on the normal hobbywing max 10

The truck really only needs 3 things:
1) center diff
2) anti roll bars
3) belted tires
The stock wheels balloon like crazy.

Did a little research and from what I can find is that there’s a brushed programmer and a brushless programmer
Heat the lexan a little to reshape it back in place.
