You can get this truck also as a redcat version in the USA. Some time ago I also recommended the TMagic E6 BES or Vgen to you which was also sold by redcat but unfortunately is discontinued in the US.
Razor look up the team redcat trmt10e or they re released it (same truck as the trmt10e) but under the redcat name and not team redcat but it's the redcat mt10e. I have one and put the center diff in it and it's probably my favorite 1/10th scale 3s truck. With the helion avenge pretty close. But I put it ahead of my big rock for sure
I have a trmt10e which is the U.S Team Redcat rebrand and I love it. I'm really surprised how much it has been slept on in the public. I think it's much better value than the 3s arrmas. I put a center diff upgrade in mine so for 350$ it's still cheaper then the 3s arrmas and also has alot of other upgrades. I might get the hop ups from this truck and beef up my trmt10e. It really is a great truck. Looking forward to this one Vas, along with the Sketer of course!
The roller version already exists. It's the e5 arr. There is no difference in mechanical aspects between this 4s version and the arr, besides some upgrades the arr has. And honestly, the arr is definitely the better deal, considering all the upgrade parts it comes with.
Another awesome video vas as usual, welcome back I always love to see your new reviews and unboxing videos, and this car looks perfect may be needs few tweaks but surly it will rock 👍🏻
The new Corallys look amazing they did in 3 versions what arrma took 5 and if u ask me it looks even better than the arrmas I can't wait to see how the new XTR does I want it
Can't wait for the BMX track run, it should be good. I'm sure jt will do a video at noonday park BMX track over here in GA. Nice unboxing as always Vas 👍👍💯
What do you know, not too long later, they have in fact released the roller version! And I think I'm going to get it. I always wanted a Team Magic E5 since I saw it on your channel... 6 years ago? 😅. Better late then never.
Great review Vas and as always... love the box slap lol. This is a definite step up with all the upgrades. Especially with the stainless lower skids stopping screws being pulled through. 3500kv on 4s.. ummm okay... gonna be a wild ride lol I have to say it, and it's ridiculous I know, but my OCD is twitching. That Blue steering servo ruins the fantastic look this MT has Just stands out far to loudly lol. It's only a small issue but.. Hope you're settling in well at your new place. Glad you're back doing reviews mate. Best on TH-cam by far!
Definitely a cool truck but I asked team magic about it and they want six hundred bucks to send one to the US. That's a tough sell given that the Skeeter just came out for $100 less
Another great honest review. We have missed you. How is the new house? How do these Team Magic hold up over time? Are they as great as the all metal drivetrain Hobao?
Would love to see more content from this channel. It is a shame that lockdowns had limited this last year. In fact, I can think of using car channel as inspiration for the same concept but with rc cars. E.g. is a 10 year old 6s RC better than brand new 1/10? Is it is cheaper to get it used and fix up say like traxxas e-revo 6s brushless edition (no bias on this specific model being what I own... ;)
Totally agree! The length of the chassis is the only thing that pisses me off. The vehicle is quite heavy and it could definetly use a longer can motor for the improved torque.
@@AsurasWrath164 yes. Especially once you add some aluminium upgrades and the centre diff. I think a 3670 would be best for it. Maybe even a 4068 2650kv
It is nuts on 3s! I geared it up a few teeth and keep it often on 2s and it is the toughest rig I've ever had at a skatepark... I actually really want to get the team associated rival this summer cuz I've heard it's even better than the Redcat Mt 10e.
I hope this motivates Arrma to introduce all new 4S models. I think they're move to larger scale and really high prices is hurting the brand. The 3S models are kinda stupid expensive. Increased competition from Team Corally, Redcat, and Maverick RC.
I think that, mechanically, the E5HX is better equipped and has all the features that make it stronger. It has a center diff, metal drivetrain, CNC machined parts, aluminium shocks and even Stainless Steel skid plates. The Vorteks has a lower CG, is slightly longer which makes it more stable at speed, has AVC and a top speed of 60mph. It would be hard to pick one over the other as both have some great features, but ultimately it'll come down to your driving style or whether or not AVC means anything to you. Personally, I prefer the built quality of the E5HX and I know it's less likely to have a servo fail. As much as I like ARRMA and the look of the Vorteks, my experience with the Team Magic cars as shown me they are very tough and underrated in most groups or forums. But those that own them will tell you how good they are. 🙂
Haha, chill man, I thought you were taking the piss, no need for insults. I was just playing along. I've been asked the same question on a few videos before and I think it's becoming a bit of meme that with every car released these days someone always asks "is this a ARRMA knockoff" or says something like "another ARRMA clone". Can't help but facepalm most of the time... Anyway, that's why I answered the way I did. But to be honest, if you're new to RC, please don't ask questions like that, ARRMA didn't invent RC, ok? 😏
@@AussieRCPlayground only reason I say that is because the booklet looks just like what arrma does. And they have similar looking cars. Just because arrma didn’t invent RC doesn’t mean other companies don’t copy or follow companies that are more successful then them. To me the name reads: “E5HX plus plus”. It seems 1/10 bashers are indeed plus sized models. Most of them are now 1:8 scale. If it’s the same size as my Hyper7 I wouldn’t call it a 1/10, but since almost everyone is doing this, claimed scale is just another irrelevant metric we need to ignore
Oh wow, that's very different to here. The E5HX Plus 4S is $750 and the Maxx is $1060. So I understand why you think it's not worth it. Here, the Maxx is not worth it and the E5HX is great value. 😁
It's super-ugly! I mean... I don't like the body, the color scheme and the overall looks of it. Maybe it runs surprisingly well and it's super reliable but I don't like how it looks at all. Nothing that a fine looking body can't solve.
2022 is the year of 4S! Truck looks good, I can't believe we can't get Team Magic in the U.S.

The ARR 3s is about the same spec, center diff , reinforced skids etc. still on my list if I consider a new basher.
3500kv on 4s in that small truck is gonna be rowdy! Flipper!
Great first look. I love the roller approach. Keeps the options endless.
I wish team magic was still with Redcat! I would love to get this considering that my TR MT10e is one of the toughest RC I've ever owned.
Boom, great start to 2022 !. Nice specs and upgrades on this car . Great video thanks 👍
