- THE MANUAL SAYS ONE THING....ON TIMING. I HAD TO DO IT DIFFERENTLY. THE MANUAL OR OTHER TH-cam HOW-TOs DON'T TELL US HOW TO GET THE BOTTOM SEAL OFF TO CLEAN IT. OH, THEY SAY WHAT TO DO - BUT IT DIDN'T WORK, SO I HAD TO FIND A NEW TECHNIQUE TO DO THAT TO CLEAN THE EGG POD WITHOUT HAVING TO LEAVE WATER IN THE SEALED UNIT TO GET MOLDY! TRICKS AND TIPS ARE WHAT I DO.
Most thorough review ever. Thank you. No one else shows how to clean it. Thank you for showing how to disassemble

Finally someone cleaned the dang thing on video! I was soooo annoyed hearing all the egg shells on the bottom, but couldn’t figure out how to open it lol 😆

I am glad you showed it so clearly. I couldn't figure out how to get the metal thing into the top. Thanks for showing that and which way the yellow seal went on. I had mine upsidedown.

I went back and looked at the Egg Pod instructions ... because I missed the part where they tell you how to remove the yellow ring. I was able to get the ring off .... but it did take a little elbow grease to get it out. I was worried that I was going to break the ring, but it finally popped loose. I won't have that problem next time, now that I know what it takes. Thanks a lot for letting me know that it was mentioned in the instructions👍 I had a feeling that there had to be a way to access the base, because it didn't make any sense from a health angle. Can you make softboiled eggs
I have an 1100 Watt Microwave. I'm wondering how long I should cook the eggs.
2:50 Dude.. I don't want to put THAT Egg Pod into THAT microwave.. I'd rather put MY Egg Pod into MY microwave. I don't even know where you live, and if everyone else is busy putting THAT Egg Pod into THAT microwave, I'd never get my turn to cook my own eggs. I'll stick with my own Egg Pod, and my own microwave here at my house.

dont waste water - put the pod in a pan or bucket then run water for 2 minutes and water your plants with overflow
I think that what Randy means is after you use the thimble full of water in the pod and microwave the eggs...instead of running water in the sink ...maybe gallons of it, you should conserve the water by putting the pod of four eggs in a bucket of cold water...than toss the water on your plants. This is a good idea. JT
