    I forgot to mention on my video you “CAN NOT” fill a divers tank/bottle with this compressor it’s for pcp air rifles only. Also I have found out since filming this video sadly these are no longer available on Vevor website but others are available from other manufacturers for same price. THESE COMPRESSORS HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED DUE TO POSSIBLE ELECTRIC SHOCK SO NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Thanks everyone.

    Handy reminder - 4500 psi 😮 but great vid and for me a timely reminder as I’m about to upgrade - found channel via agt vixen and for others have a look at temp or aliX - yes it takes 2 weeks to arrive but good prices

      Thanks for watching my video and yes 4500psi it’s been a great little compressor for me and never let down.

    Great review with your findings on the Vevor. would jump on one of these fast but i do a fill or 2 at the range with a days shooting. no power there to use and car a good walk away and rifles need to be bagged on exit of club house so a right pain, also think the noise would annoy the older gents. i am not a lover of dive tanks,my 5ltr steel is heavy, a trek to take to get filled etc BUT i have no safety worries. end of the day the rifles bottle is normally stored filled up in mine at home (a flat,so small) and when i use the vixen i have my head laying on the butt/bottle!

    Good review, i have creworks compressor, little bit more of a faff as you have to use a external pump in a cold bucket of water but its been spot on in the two'sh years been using it, you can fill bottles with it but never tried that, just fill the rifles think i payed £230 ish for it, I'm the same with divers bottles wont have one in the house, was using a FX pump for years but getting to old for that now..

    Hi Mate
    I have the same and I purchased a spare car battery on Amazon which I keep in the boot of my car so easy to fill up at the range and when hunting portable filling easy to recharge the spare battery £49 quid it’s a solid investment

      The bottles on the vixen are very safe tried and tested like with any pcp there is a risk as there all pressurised cylinders at the end of the day! I just don’t like them big dive tanks never have trusted them as there’s a lot of air in them. A lot more than a filled pcp. Cheers dude the is for watching my vid.

    Nothing wrong with air bottles, they've been around for a hundred years now. They are well regulated by the industry. I cut my old (25 years old) one in half when I could no longer get it safety tested as there was no room left on the neck for the safety stamp to go. When I cut it in half, it was still like new inside! These bottles are used by divers, the fire brigade, hospitals and throughout industry. Don't forget that bottle on the rifle next to your face, it may be smaller but still holds the same pressure as the big bottle and will do just as much damage if not more because of where it is when in use. Like anything that has a potential of danger, if respected and rules are abided by, there is no problem. I can't see your fear problem with using a bottle as your main tank if you're ok with the one (or two/three even) on some rifles. Anything to do with compressed air needs respect. That even applies to your pump and it's maintenance. Just a thought.
    Keep up the videos, quite enjoyable 😁👍

    so i have had one of these for about the same time and its a pretty good bit of kit to be fair . i did add an extra layer of filtration just for my ocd . one thing i will mention there was a recall on these for not being ground safe so failed import rules . however i checked mine and it was ok . just something to keep in mind . still a great bit of kit

      Hi thanks for your comment I’m not sore what ground safe means ? Is this something to do with the voltage or earth ? Mine has been flawless over 2 years! There no longer on the website so maybe this is what they stopped making them possibly! But mine like I say has been brilliant.

    nice vid mate ive just got a brand one of these with my vixen. good job you said dont fill my bottle up with it though. i wont but can i ask why not? and also how often do you change the filters in these and where do you get them from? cheers mate

    • @Ratsinthereticles
      @Ratsinthereticles  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      These compressors are not designed to fill divers tanks mate you’ll burn it out! There just designed to fill pcp air rifles only be it at your own peril filling up a divers tank! I’ve done a lot of research in to it belive don’t do it. As for filters it all depends on how offer you use it just take it out every few months and check it.

    🤔 ..... oh where to start i started off with the Hill's hand pump great fine .... ? but when your filling 2 - 6 guns 😩 gets a bit much next move 7ltr dive bottle must admit a lot easier but the hassle of getting it filled & tested is a bit of a pain for me then two years ago i got a lovely xmas present a BSA Portable PCP Electric Compressor what a brilliant bit of kit indoor use or use it out in the field running off the jeep battery 8m jump leads to the back tail gate & hook up too the BSA compressor mobile filling station 👍 yes its a bit noisy but i would not be without it now still have the dive tank as back up & the Hill's hand pump as a last resort i would highly recommend the BSA unit as I've had no bother with mine .

    Its those little filters you need to worry about they go off like a bomb.
    Been diving for 40yrs never had one single problem with any of my tanks over the years and I have owned over 20 easy. Never even heard of anyone having a problem on their own. Sure seen one blow out the side of a dive boat and another blow it's fitting off in a vehicle going through both seats "rear and front" through the firewall, cracking the inlet manifold where it come to rest. All human error not secured properly. So not sure why you would be scared of them .
    I have three diving tanks atm but I only use them for diving as my dive shop only fills to 200bar I fill my M3 to 250bar using a small Tuxing compressor same as yours all made by Tuxing. But I have seen a few of those little filters that come with these compressors blow up and trust me they can kill you I do not stand anywhere near mine when it's filling. I think there is a good post showing the aftermath of one blowing up on AGN.
