Create Windows To Go USB Drive Easy, Fast
Useful For:
Laptop with a bad SSD port, bad SSD Board, bad SATA port or just wanting windows to go USB.
Step 1. Copy DVD Windows to Drive, or Download Windows ISO Of Windows wanted to run for your PC.
Step 2: Purchase a USB Drive 32GB or More Preferable.
Step 3. AOMEI Partition Professional Edition Ver 9.7.0

Step 4. Open AOMEI On left menu click windows creater
Step 5: Install Windows to go to USB, PLEASE BE PATIENT
After Install
Step 6. Insert USB Drive into unit select temp boot, enter for lenovo, other key for other brands.
Step 7: Please be Patient while allowing windows to load.

That error about checking cable is referring to network cable because that’s what it’s trying to do a network boot.

In Linux retrospect, it was more for experimental purposes and not meant for permanent storage. Rufus can do the same thing without having to pay for AOMEI software.
