old tool only works om sp3

I had and alternator issue so i replaced mine with what is suppose to be the right one from O'brians auto parts store. When i installed it ,, volts went up properly , it charges my new battery properly.. i even have a Cig lighter usb connection in the center console with a read out which reads 13.8 when running so i know i'm gettng proper charge with new Alternator but suddenly i'm getting this annoying "Service Charging System"... UGH it sucks to see that i may have to switch out this "working" alternator and pay an extra 350.00 for the Delco because this alternator apparently isn't giving the correct reading to my C6... Funny and really annoying thing is i never got the "needs charging system" warning EVEN when my alternator was going bad and not charging the battery as it should.... I only knew it was going bad because since i don't drive the vette all the time when i do i will toggle through and really pay attention to the instruments because it isn't driven all the time and I do the same with my boat because when something sits for a while , well you get the idea. Just something i do. anyway i had noticed the system was only at 11.8 volts when driving and not at 13.8 where it should be. So i changed battery and Alternator.. but now this dame warning light...UGH...

I have the same issue with my c6. I will check it out and see if it possibly has the wrong alternator too.

That error about checking cable is referring to network cable because that’s what it’s trying to do a network boot.

I sill have the 485, maxed the Ram (I believe to 2gb), and bought the VGA cable with PS/2 ports for the mouse and keyboard. Reinstalled the software but decided not to use it again as it failed on me once. No more updates as it’s no longer supported. And Ram is too small for other Linux distro as a file server, etc. I really like how it looks, I wonder if I can replace the innards with a mini pc.

I have two of them with 4GB of ram that I have been testing with the original windows 8 that was installed. Now I know how much ram it will take. With a SSD upgrade I may put windows 10 on it also. Thanks for the information

It’s kinda neat and dumb at the same time. I know it’s trying to look like an RM. What happens when a few water splashes penetrate the plastic case? You have to disassemble it again don’t ya?

Nothing screams luxury more than a plastic case cover and a silicone watch strap.

I have 2 of these. one one I added a 512GB SSD and on the other I added a 256GB SSD these units will take up to 1 8GB DDR3 memory module and on mine I upgraded the memory to 4GB for the moment. they will support Windows 10 as well as any linux distro. I retapped all the chassis screws to 4-40 instead on the original 3mm screws. it makes it easier to get into the chassis as well as easier to replace the screws if they ever get lost. I really like these little machines as I have this model as well as the Dell Wyse 7020. great little machines!

I have one of these. I'm toying with the idea of replacing the innards with a NUC PSB or something similar. Do you think there's enough room? I might have a go at this anyway. I don't think I'll need the VGA that much. Once I get a replacement OS on it, I'll be accessing it remotely anyway. I'll just for the rare troubleshooting occasion or if I ever need to access the BIOS so will probably just leave the VGA cable internal and only use it with the case off.

For curiosity sake, how much did you pay for the server? Also, how many gigs of ram is in your MediaSmart? Edit: Towards the end of the video, I see that you have 2GB of RAM.

Any idea, if you can override the little screen and connect it to an android radio, when the rear cam is already connected?

I’ve been having this problem for a couple years I’ve replaced 4 alternators and 10+ batteries I also have a parasitic draw, I found the draw to be on the 30 amp j fuse for the Bose amp I have not found a solution for the draw yet, have you had any problems like I have? I also have a whipper supercharger with the 8 groove belt so the I have to change the pulley on the alternator every time . If you have any advice on my problems I would really appreciate it!

I think Win7 isn't designed for "Win To-Go". I tried this long time ago but it ended in a bluescreen. Additionally Win7 didn't recognize USB 3.0 by default. So you stuck on slow USB 2.0 speed until 3.0 drivers are installed.

Can you download any app as you can on smartphones or is this restricted like the standard smart TVs?

Mine is not booting into TWRP. I have unchecked "Auto Reboot" in the options as one commenter said and reupdated it, but it still takes me to the Android System Recovery screen where the options are 1 reboot system now, 2 apply update from ADB, 3 apply update from external storage, 4 wipe data/factory reset, 5 wipe cache partition, 6 apply update from cache. How do I get it to boot into TWRP?

Working on SM-T217S After loading the TWRP file, it kept booting into the default recovery. Simple fix... Start ODIN... Options Un-check Auto Reboot Load the TWERP file as usual and continue

I have a question regarding this dashboard camera. Can you watch the lice footage from your phone while driving? Or can it be connected to the phone?

I need to know if I can view the LCD in real time when mounted. I need a way of seeing that the light has turned green and that I can go. I am too tall to be able to see it change colors. What I need to know is if the 2" LCD can be set to play in real time or does it only play when displaying recorded video. TYSM!
