Rich, Just wanted to compliment you on your presentations! Most videos are so fast I don't know what they have said after they say it!!! Thanks for speaking at a decent rate of speed and making everything clear to an 87 year old in the 21st Century!!!
Rich, when I saw this video come up I thought, this time I am going to be ahead of the game because I already knew about all the things you shared today about contacts. I use this feature on a regular basis and have all the information you shared already set up. However, I did not have the ‘Lists’ done! What a great feature! We send out notes to our family members from time to time and usually have to go through and select each one to add to the text message or email note. Now, I can have them all in a list and with one click send them all a text or an email! Fantastic! Thanks again for always giving us useful information about our phones and iPads!!
Always love your videos! Is there an easy way to print my contacts with their info…I like to have a paper copy , much like an old fashioned phone book 😊
Rich, your last couple videos have been in audio single channel only. Use to come through both EarPods now just the left. Much easier for this old (79j veteran that lost most of my hearing in the Army for 10 years (1963-1973). Sure hope you can get the ability to hear in both ears. Thanks and I really enjoy your videos!!! Happy New Year!!!
It might be that one of your ear buds is malfunctioning? The audio is working on my Mac, iPad and iPhone. You were in the Army at a rough time. I had a lot of friends who were a little older than me that were drafted. My older brother had a higher draft number but was getting close when the Nixon suspended the draft. Anyway, I hope you get the audio working again. Thanks so much for watching!
Rich Thanks for all the videos , well explained in very simple language. Can you please bring out video on “ links to be to created in notes with ios 17” followed few videos of others but could not follow.certainly it is having a great features.
Hi Rich, your phone basics was very thorough. Either there or in another video please show how to set up a list of several people and call all of them and FaceTime them all. Example, a team at work or your family. Roger of Orlando
Thanks Rich. Good and clear explanation. I may know how to do this...but I watch all your.videos anyway. Always learn something new...and you ...calm me down! Haha. Hope to see you in California sometime!
I’m coming from Samsung world to iPhone and it’s been interesting. I’m still learning but I’m glad you talked about contacts today because my contacts on iPhone isn’t alphabetical order. So wanted to ask if there is a way to put contacts in order that makes since. Thanks for the video, you really make them make sense.
I’ve transitioned from working to retirement and would like to clean up my contacts list; getting rid of all the now unnecessary business info. Most of my contacts were created using Microsoft Outlook…not sure how they migrated to my iPhone, probably through iCloud. Anyway, there are literally hundreds of contacts I no longer need. Any insight?
Rich, I have my iCloud iPhone and iPad synced through iCloud..how do I delete a contact from every contact list? I try to delete but then when I sync the name comes back. How can I delete a contact from everything?
@@RichBowlin the whole point is I do not have the picture in my photos. For example, I want to copy it from the contact’s homepage and paste it to the card, without adding it to my photos
Rich, Did you know that this presentation only had a left ear channel of sound. Very disappointing since your presentations are usually some of the best.
Well...I'm not sure what's going on. You're the 3rd person to say this. The audio is fine on my end. Maybe I can re-upload the video and that will fix the issue. So sorry.
@@RichBowlin Hi, I forgot to tell you I listen to you at night or early morning. So, I am wearing headphones so I don’t wake up my wife. Obviously I don’t know if the other two viewers have been watching your videos with headphones. I have been watching you for a year or so. Only happened in the last two videos. Hopes this helps figure out the solution. I apologize for leaving that information out.
Rich, thank you for the informative videos. I have replaced my android phone for an iPhone because of your videos. As a 78 yr old senior the videos are easy to follow.
Very good explanation on Contacts Rich, thanks. I check several e-mail accounts using the iPhone app and often use it to send mail, too. I use Mozilla Thunderbird on my PC (Win 11) for handling most of my e-mail activity. I've tried to move contacts to Thunderbird using several methods and have not been successful in getting the data sent properly. Details either don't show up in Thunderbird or there are mistakes or only some of the data gets entered. Is this something you plan to cover? Maybe I'll try the share technique you described in your TH-cam video. Thank you and Happy New Year...😀
I'm not sure this is a topic I'll be covering. I used Thunderbird off and on when I was using PCs in my law office. But when I made the switch to Mac I just bit the bullet and re-entered all the data fresh and clean. Since then, I've not had a single issue. Wish I could be more helpful.

Same thing I was going to say!
So glad there was a tip in there that helped! I use lists all the time!

@@RichBowlin Thanks but no luck there.
How can I add a picture of a contact taken from the internet;
that is,, by some copy and paste.
If the picture is in your photos library you can choose it from there. Hope this helps.
