There wasn't a single track that was underwhelming in the game. It was all fantastic and even though the game is somewhat short, I'll be hearing these tracks on my playlists for years to come!
Love how in "Silk Cradle" you can hear a noise in the back as if mimicking the legs of spiders as they walk -- like you'd see/ hear in a cartoon. So much creativity here!
You really a wonderful musician. Many of these tracks have been haunting my mind recently and they make me contemplate life as a whole. Especially Start a Cult, Praise the Lamb, Work and Worship and Pilgrim's Passage. Keep up the great work!
@@RiverBoyBeats on my way to start a cult at my school because the music of this game is so good. We will be worshipping the creator of it which is you I'm half serious about it but Fr, epic music. Keep it up!
I literally played the demo and just let my guy idle in the cult for hours just to listen to this before the upload. This is seriously one of the best OSTs I've heard in years
This sounds like the memories I never had, but I wish I did. This music is really unusual and is extremely pleasant to hear. You truly did a wonderwork.
I cannot stop listening to this OST. I am so memorized and part of the cult. I only ask that you give me a Skull Necklace so that i may listen all day everyday during my un-natural life
I can't stress enough how impressed I am by your soundtracks. They're so unique and rich and extremely fitting for the game. If the game was the body, your soundtracks are the soul.
This is spectacular. vocal splicing is enchanting, it just such a beautiful piece to listen to. Especially all at once. I enjoyed every second. The drums are mesmerizing. This is on par with Celeste OST.
i wonder if baal and aym are the two sons of the cat merchant forneus which you happen to run into ingame, the cat tells you it had to sacrifice it's own 2 kids for narinder and still hopes they're still full with love like the cat is, it was always suspicious to me and since even the soundtracks are titled as first son baal and second son aym this can't be a coincidence right
Thank you for creating this masterpiece for human ears, this angelical mix of sounds has been next to me for a long time already and i just want to thank you for creating what i will call "perfection" not only because it sounds good but also because fits the game perfectly, i hope you keep making things like this. Thank you.
This OST totally slaps.... I never really bothered looking at this game.. until I decide to listen to the soundtrack... and that was it, instantly fell in love.
I think the voice belongs to Kalyani Mumtaz, who was River Boy's partner in the group Willow Beats. The samples sound real similar to samples that were likely recorded for the "Be Kind To Yourself" album, and it sounds to almost certainly be her voice.
if you go on searching seperately the ost video of a game, then my sir it's already a masterpiece, so good that it peaked interest to search it outside the game
What a delight. Start a Cult is one of my favorite tracks from a game in a looooong time. And Knucklebone is like a pirate Zelda tune. Gonna be listening to this for a while.
The soundtrack feels otherwordly in a way, like it belongs to the game as if River Boy just hopped from inside the world of Cult of the Lamb and dropped some bangers.
It's definitely one of my top 10 game soundtracks in the last decade along with the Persona titles. I find myself coming back to listen to the entire thing multiple times and unlike many soundtracks it doesn't get dull or old to hear again.
The co-op update came out, and me and my brother have been playing the heck out of it. Thank you for making the soundtrack to some of the best sibling bonding I’ve ever been a part of.
I adore the game and the soundtrack even more. You made the most amazing game ost I’ve ever heard in my life, and i cannot thank you enough for it. Thank you for that :]
This ost will always be very charming to me! One of my favorite parts of the game is just listening to the music while i tend to my farm or do things for my cult members, truly a treat of a game and a ost. :}
Is there any talk about the OST being released on vinyl? Would add it to the collection in a heartbeat, this is one of the best OSTs I've heard since Donut County.
I think it just has to be stated that the quality, the perfectly matching vibes and the excellent balance between cute, action-packed and creepy of this OST is hugely responsible for what makes CotL enjoyable. The music just made everything (from killing bosses to cleaning poop) more intense when it was pleasant, and more tolerable when it was a bit tedious / "boring". It gave a lot of characters and places personnality, and it stayed with me even when I wasn't playing a lot of the time. 11/10, excellent work, hope to hear your work in a lot of other successful projets in the future!
Everything about this game clicks just right! Especially the Music! YOU DO DAMN GOOD WORK! May our Shepard's benevolence wash over you! All hail our dark lord!
I have never played this game, but i love the soundtrack. Had youtube on autoplay yesterday while i was sorting some games, videos and pictures on my pc. Didn't notice the song had changed but thought way too much time had passed for the song lenght. Turns out i heard half the soundtrack. Its been ages since time flew for me. TL;DR : I enjoyed it so much i might purchase the soundtrack alone if its seperate on steam. PS: neither the ditto or monster link in description works.
18:27-19:12 is a very 11/10 emotional singing, i would listen to it a lot when i was fading from plasma donation and could hear my Twi'Lek daughters shout singing in the pauses... too emotional
"Leshy" is SUCH a banger. I use this as background music for housework, work, ... and that song just makes me go "aww MAN this is nice" every single time xD (PS: same goes for "Sozo")
Ratoo's theme one of the most calming melodies I've heard in a while with a little melancholic sprinkle thrown into it, perfectly fitting for this little character and his story, I'm only sad it's not longer, even as a simple loop. Thank you so much for this marvelous OST!
I just started playing this game and my sister has been watching me and won’t shut up about how much she loves the music lol. It is good, really fits the game, equally cute sounding and eerie 😵💫
Praise the lambs" really reminds me of Nujabes with the use of flute. But also, some underground producers I have listen too for a longtime like Drew the Architect, Cat soup, Ghost Ghoul when it comes to the use of the beats and electronics on "Start a Cult.' If you like this type of stuff, I highly Recommend go and check them out. You did an amazing job @RiverBoy, I'm truly a fan of you're works.

I can’t believe this is not nominated as best music for The Game Award 2022! This is unfair
Thank you River Boy. I played this on the farm intercom and since then I keep getting sticks and rocks on the office doorstep. Very weird.
I love the voice parts in "praise the lamb" so much, they sound so nice and calming. Is that your voice btw?
They kinda sound like the followers in-game voices lol
I think the voice belongs to Kalyani Mumtaz, who was River Boy's partner in the group Willow Beats. The samples sound real similar to samples that were likely recorded for the "Be Kind To Yourself" album, and it sounds to almost certainly be her voice.
