they most likely shut it down because they already have something in the works surrounding jet set radio, recently they've been slowly adding little by little jet set radio hints, like the beat costume for your furry oc in Sonic Forces, or the Beat action figure they started selling out of nowhere a little before that. Jet Set Radio has been on the top of SEGA's fan polls to revive their franchises (it won during sega's latest tokyo game show i think) If you also look at how Nintendo announced Animal Crossing by completely ignoring the fans for months about it and then announcing it out of nowhere there might be more hope for a new JSR! Sega also released a small shitty fighting mobile game and it includes beat, gum and out favorite DJ! one last thing, sega added JSR merch out of nowhere and started liking tweets and instagram posts about wanting a new jsr, there's a lot of hope but and i hope it's sega trying to hype us up a bit for an announcement and not them not wanting to make a new jsr so they're just feeding us anything to calm the fanbase :/ either way there's plenty of hope still but we might not get to see anything for a solid year

Creepy TH-cam algorithm putting this in the recommended for every 26-35 year old male who got JSRF packaged with their original Xbox. It worked, I'm into it
I'm 15 but according to the comments I read the TH-cam algorithm thinks I'm in my 20s. the algorithm ignores the age you say you are a guesses your age based off what videos you watch so the algorithm gives me videos that someone in their mid 20s would watch and thinks I'm that age because of the videos I watch
I mean my stepdad introduced me to gaming when i was 5 and this was my first game. And now 16 will be 17 in a couple of months i look back and appreciate what he has showed me.
@@TheJEEMON143 Im 18, learned about JSR thru Sega Superstars Tennis. I never played JSR, but it stuck to me for years.
did not have but my 20 yr old cousin had it back in the day lol!
exactly wtf
Bro I can't believe I've been sleeping on this album for so long. I saved it when it first came out and skipped around to get a feel for it when it came out, but I've never sat down and listened fully through it until now . It's so fuckin good. Well done my man *chefs kiss*
This sounds so fantastic! I can imagine this is what the Jet Set Radio station is playing through their headphones
This is amazing perfect album to be quarantined with
Never gets old. I can say with total confidence that this is one of the best albums I've ever heard.
This is bitter sweet to me since Sega shot down Dinosaur games proposal for Jet Set Radio Evolution. I fuckin' love this so much though!
sega has no fucking clue what theyre doing anymore
After that heart breaking 💔 news this is really lifting my spirits.
I've always gotten the impression that Sega plays host to some really talented creative types, and that they're held back by suits so incompetent and out-of-touch they couldn't tell their bank accounts from their wives, considering how insistent they are on fucking both.
Hey Mello, this is one of my favorite albums of all time. I just started learning to rollerblade, and it all "clicked" while I was listenin to Pump Up the Love. I think the rhythm helped me to stay consistent with my movements. But it felt great! So thanks for the irl background music! :)
Good luck and have fun!!
My man threw in that UNDERSTAND, got me
BIG BEAST goes off so HARD
the melodies and harmonizing in this is insane. the rap verses are done expertly and your vocals fit the songs INSANELY well. the entire album, start to finish, is the greatest kind of trip. it takes me out of body listening to it. you are genuinely such a talented coordinated composer and i appreciate every inch and layer i can make out in all of these songs. i needed this. it's gettin' me through a lot. thank you so much for being so dope.... keep up the funky fresh beats man
"1 mello, because the 2 is seeing double after about 3 drinks be4 i get into trouble" always scratches my brain just right
you forgot the "slap you 5 and grab a taxi"
@@nao166 for real! sick string of rhymes
I still come back here to listen to this absolute banger of an album, if I'm feeling down, or want to feel hype or focus us.
really helps me out. Thanks 2 Mello
Downloading this and the original soundtracks for my car. Dont think I'll ever need any other music to cruise to!
Great album. Heard it first time last week and had it on replay all the time. The ones that stood out to me were Getaway, BIG BEAST, Ba-da-ba, Tag Walls Punch Fascists, Old to the new...nvm, I like them all.
Holy shit this is nostalgic and super fresh. Rad album man!
I love how you blend Naganuma's style with your own for a unique take on the JSR style. Hopefully that SEGA survey held a while ago will tell them their fans _need_ JSR 3.
we dont need sega, team reptile gonna do cyberfunk future in the 2022
Sega really is the worst company but has the best fans. So glad I found this on Spotify, keep up the magic!
Say Something is my new fav
Alyx thinks that this song is cringe
This is honestly a masterpiece to me, I listen to this every night on my way into work and on my way home. Back to back bangers and I can’t get enough! Especially Ba-da-Ba, so groovy 😎 thank you for this upload please don’t ever get rid of it ❤️
Jet Set Radio really is its own gerne
This sounds so nice! Never heard something like this in my entire life since they're not my usual genres. To listen to something different is such a fresh experience. Thanks TH-cam recommendations :D
Dude I can't stop listening to this album. I've never played JSR but I feel all of the vibes put into this work.
My favourites are Midnight In Tokyo-To, 24h Party People, Rock The Beat!!, Poison Jam and BIG BEAST but my ultimate favourite has to be Ba-da-Ba
There's so many vibes in this one album and I'm here for all of em
This is outstanding. I'm loving the fact that those vibes are grabbing your attention immediately on 101% and never let you go till the end. Such a solid work.
Tekken riffs + Jet Set Radio
Just combine all of my favorite things, why don't you?
By the beard of Zeus, this is absolutely fantastic!
This, the world ends with you and Persona V. Most epic Gaming OSTs ever
Eternally grateful for your work, I freaking love JSR.
That game influenced me so much to a personal level, it means a lot to me and seeing people keeping it's legacy alive is always a nice thing to see.
Also Rock the Beat is my favorite track.
The way he says "dig, how would you define dig?" is so catchy
I have listened to this on loop 8 times today alone. PLEASE DO MORE!!! 🤩
I still don't get why this hasn't gained much more attention... One of the best albums ever!
This album is 4 years old? Damn, life really flies by...
Even if there are people that dont care about JSR , you can't deny the importance that it has in pop culture, even Gorillaz took inspiration from this wonderful series, keep the good tunes coming, you are doing GREAT!!!
24 Hour Party People is permanently on my playlist
Born in '65. Never been a gamer but love some of the music. This works for my ears.
Just received this album in the mail today, and the cover art is too cool! I love, love, love the vinyl graphic on the CD! Amazing tracks as well - I'll definitely be listening to these for hours to come!
This feels like it would fit into future, or just an entirely new game
In Pump Up The Love, I just caught the "MURDERER" sample from Ini Kamoze's Here Comes The Hotstepper, LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
THANK YOU MY GUY,YOU SAVED ME FROM GOING BALLISTIC FROM ANXIETY!
Thanks God above that you exist my man, my mate, my bro, you're awesome
I swear there's something about this soundtrack that calms my brain
Have been with this album on loop for the last two weeks and I can say it's definitely one of my favourite discoveries this year. Here I Go, Ba-da-ba and Big Beast are the ones I'd take with me everywhere, but man, whole album is awesome!
Mellowing Out to this.
“Here I Go” has the final part of “Welcome to Garibaldi BEEEEE” from SSX Tricky and for that I am eternally grateful. That’s BEAUTIFUL!!!
This is hitting like if the Futurama theme was a full album. So good :,)
