Miller Koth. This is a million hyper-intelligent moths who dress up in a human skin suit so that way the government doesn't find them, but because they aren't really human and weren't raised on human morals and ethics, they sometimes do a bunch of bad stuff. Their creator, the Killer Moth (a real DC villain) created them in an attempt to have an undetectable army wreak havoc in Gotham City, but the moths were a little bit dumber than initially intended, so he let them live a life as a real human boy named Miller Koth.

I mean it sorta is the case, batman created most his major villains. He knock Joker into that vat of chemicals, whom depending on the story was just a poor guy down on his luck. Two Face was burned by the Mob, so poor people he put away if you want to go that logic. Riddler got screwed over by his boss. Mr Freeze is doing all this because he cant afford healthcare for his Wife. (some versions it's his daughter) Penguin is a bastard that hates that nobles look down on him. (aged poorly)

@@get6149 The Puzzler was originally a Superman villain actually. In Batman 66 there was salary disputes with Frank Gorshin who played The Riddler, so they rewrote the script for the episode in question and used The Puzzler instead.

What do you mean the star geotee isn't cool. It's clearly the superior form of facial hair.
Seeing the state of the City and how bad the crime is there is probably not enough jobs for people so they turn to a life of crime & those who are only hiring are eccentric weirdos to support themselves thus Batman is beating up the poor & disenfranchised.
and in most adaptations the only thing bruce ever does to help the city itself is fund arkham...which constantly fails to keep anyone locked up or cure them so its pretty much going to waste, he really could be doing a lot more as bruce
Stories like Batman get worse they longer they go on since the system needs to keep catastrophically failing to keep criminals on the street for Batman to beat up.
Which is why I like that every Batman story is its own new continuity with unique issues that get solved quickly (usually)
@@brandonwithnell612 That's literally not most versions, stories that give any focus to the bruce wayne part of the batman mythos regularly mention his charitable efforts and various initiatives to try and rehabilitate criminals, fight poverty, yada yada. The reason gotham is so shit is there's literally a secret society of people actively trying to fuck it up
