Thank you so much for this video, I haven't played on my wii for years and this was the reason I couldn't get it to work. But your tips worked AHHH!!!! You truly made my day!!!!!!!
My wii remote is connected but I don’t get that ‘hand’ that lets me natigate around. My home button works and I can use the + and - to move to next screen but no hand to navigate around ???
The motion sensor bar: the long thin strip sensor bar (about 30cm long) with a thin wire! Connect it to your Wii and place it on top of your TV (or similar position so that your remotes can SEE it). Hope then you CAN play ;=)
hi, no problem. You can remove your back cover, then find two AA batteries and place them in the remote control, now you can do the same as shown in the video. Have a good day!
the little will only appears and moves if only you have the positioning bar(a foot long bar, normally place on top of TV) is placed and connected! check that and good luck!
hi, you could try again. 1. make sure the wii console is on and you can see the picture on your TV. 2. put two good batteries into the remote and make sure that when you press any button, the four leds at the bottom of the remote flash. 3. Press the red buttton on the console and then press the red button on the remote. This method should work or may be some other issues. Good luck!
Without the sensor bar, the remotes can still connect to Wii console and switch it on/off, however the cursor on the TV screen will not move so that you won't be able to really control your game or play. Have a good day!
No arrow shown problem is normally due to the positioning sensor: it is a long bar and normally placed on top of your TV. Check your sensor bar. Good luck!

I’ve done this so many times but nothing happens. My remote turns on perfectly and lights up but when I click any button the TV doesn’t do what the remote is doing. So if I click A it doesn’t select anything on the tv. I don’t understand what’s wrong :((((((((
hi, if you can a steady led light on your remote, it means that you have connected your remote to your Wii. If you can see the cursor on your tv screen, it means that you have connected successfully. you could check if your remote receiver strip on the top of your tv is connected and positioned right? or try another remote from your friend! good luck!

I have 2 remotes. One is from another wii and one is from my wii. In the past i syncronized both of the controllers and they worked just fine. Now they wont sync WHATEVER i do. The blue lights wont flash either. What should i do??????
hi, press any button: if no blue light at all, check your battery; if blue light flashing, it means not connected; if one blue light and no flashing, it means the remote has been connected. also make sure the motion detection bar on your TV is properly connected and positioned. good luck!
I have this problem and everyone says that i need to re-sync my wi remote. I pressed the sync button on wii remote and the lights blink but when i press sync on console the lights still blink and nothing happens. I have 3 wii remotes and all of them worked yesterday but suddenly today none of them work.
@@MTCTpl As I understand the console and/or the remotes should remember each other forever even the power is disconnected from the console or the remotes run out of batteries, unless the remotes have been connected to another console. You could try to unplug the console and remove the batteries from the remotes, then try again. It that not working, I am really running out of ideas! Good luck!
hi, it sounds like a possible problem with the console. you could restart the console by unplugging it from power supply, wait for one or two minutes, then plugging it in. good luck!
hi, how do you know your sensor is not working? They are normally good quality and reliable? I think it should be wireless signal between the remote and the console, and it should be infrared light signal between the remote and the motion bar. The infrared light signal is not visible even it is working. you may see the infrared signal light by using your mobile phone camera or a camcorder depending on the ability of the cameras. You could try with a pair of new batteries? it seems not cheaper to buy a second hand remote, could be £20? Have a good day!
@@b1uestars470 hi, another idea: you could borrow a remote controller from a friend and try if that remote controller works fine? Or take your remote controller to a friend house and try it on their WII console? By doing that you can be sure if the problem is with the remote controller or the receiver. Have a good day!
@@LFC82 you could try(1) the batteries in the remote are good so that at least three LEDs flashes? (2) you could try or borrow another remote to try? Have a nice day!
