So you have a tune now to gain the power and torque you lost by going from an oem tyre diameter of about 750mm to 845mm on new tyre and wheels ie 95mm larger diameter. Is that a fair comment?
@@stevegoodwin5841 it’s more powerful from stock with the bigger tyre still - it’s 775mm for std size, when I had this tuned it was with mt772 muds now running At811 and the fuel economy is better by about 80km a tank easy I can get about 670km a tank around town as opposed to high 500s before
How would you say the reliability has been 2 years on? You reckon it could tow a 3 ton caravan? ( i know its rated higher, the question is how much of its towing specs are plausible in reality especially now with a tune?)

They will find a way to knock back any warranty if needed as they feel like it like any other manufacturer unfortunately. These tunes done give the car better performance so I do not see an issue and warranty should still be held unless that tune (which needs to be proven it damaged anything) was the cause of the fault. Drive the car normally and everything will be fine

Wouldn't u make less hp/nm on a chassis dyno as the car has to turn a 34" tyre so claiming 230hp/580nm isnt really realistic?. Your not getting more hp/nm on a hub dyno its only because it isn't turning tyres. Be like measuring hp/nm at the fly and not having a drive line to turn and loos power. Correct or do i not understand properly.
Yeh mate so around 10-12% loss if on a chassis dyno with the wheels bolted on So just over 200hp at the wheels and about 535nm - which is about right for a tuned 4jj3 with similar mods as what you typically see!
I came here because the thumbnail showed a tuned car and the title said so.
