    The ticket cost is much more than $575. $575 is BEFORE all of the additional fees. When you add them all up, it is closer to $661 per ticket!

    This doesn’t include a bike, flight , supplies, tent, camping gear etc.

      True, some people come from the Bay Area, others from Europe, 2 very different journeys. My second burn now & I haven’t used a bike. Tent & camping gear is a 1 time expense, because you can use it again the next year. Supplies will depend on joining a theme camp or not.

    I spent a few grand going to Kenya and living in the bush and teaching kids. We helped them build a reliable water supply and I taught the kids there English, science, and math. I fed over a hundred kids lunch for a couple months. I don't think I would have enjoyed watching anything more than those kids faces light up, certainly not more than watching a gigantic bonfire. To each their own I guess.

      I would rather go to Burning Man, but you are right, to each their own.

      The wood and building material they burn at just one festival at burning man could have housed your whole Kenyan village. But the flip side;- all those Kenyan kids you taught English are now migrants in your country. So who can really point fingers

      youre such a hero....you did a kind good thing.....the sad part is you taught the little africans the western language, which is the most common language burning man people speak.......

    • @michaelrichter8204
      @michaelrichter8204 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mekg2439 most of those african kids are all in america illegally by now, but I wouldn't worry about them going to Burning man. Your little elitist party is save(but what happens to your home while you are gone ...?)

    If you are low income with proof, you can apply for a low income ticket, i know ticket prices go up every year, but with a combination of a low income ticket, already having all the gear i need, and using rideshare, ive made the trip multiple times for around $600 in the past

    also dont go to burning man if you think the 'playa will provide' - its not a spectator event... participate. you only get out of it what you give.

    If you want a burning man experience on a budget just go live in a vacant dirt lot and don’t bathe yourself or
    Go homeless

    As long as there is never any human or animal sacrifices going on, it's NOT a Blackrock satanic for the rich ritual.

    Your budget is $200 more than the minimum since you assumed everyone would take the bus versus bring their own vehicle. $345 versus $150.

    all you have to do is watch the videos from year to year. this year was the oldest crowd i have ever seen at burning man. the art is great. but it is turning into well off middle aged people regardless of what people say. the evidence is visible and obvious.

    • @JoshuaVineyard1
      @JoshuaVineyard1  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They are getting older because they are veteran burners. Each year a little older.
