LOVE the 1975 tapestry. Maybe I’ve just not noticed before, I rather enjoy your making an estimate of sale value as you go. Have a very good year, Jocelyn. You and your team are such hard workers.
She is fun and does a great job. I feel as I’m shopping with her! TH-cam pays her a percentage of the ad revenue based on her views and quantity, so it is the added incentive to feed her audience… US!
I watch your videos every night! You have made me & my sister’s antiquing adventures so much more enjoyable. We would never pay attention to glass but you have taught us so much that we look at everything now!! You are such a delight!!! Thank you!!!
I love that you've been doing so many goodwill videos lately they are always my favorite just because it truly is a hit or miss adventure as to where the vintage and antique malls are more probable for things to be found thank you for sharing
Hello! The tile/artwork looks like very much like the work of Ecuadorian painter Oswaldo Guayasamín - or someone emulating his style. Thank You for all you do. Happy New Year!
Thank you, Jocelyn, for introducing me to Dorothy Thorpe. I found 2 perfect martini glasses a bit ago. Before I sell them, I would really like to drink a lemon drop martini from one. Just to say I did!! Thank you for helping me learn and appreciate glassware. Fiesta, I know, glassware, I am learning!
Oh my goodness! I see she responded to a few comments. I love this. I miss the live chats she did for awhile. It’s nice to chat with the people you watch daily. Love you Jocelyn. You are a beautiful person. Inside and out.
02:14 Looks cloudy, though. I suspect someone kept filling it up with hard water. (But then again, a little vinegar clears us of this film.) 02:30 "Nosh" is the Yiddish word for something to eat, loaned into English. I would fill it with Doritos or Cheez-Its. 04:06 "Curious" is a most excellent word for these situations. I often use it myself. 04:18 I'm thinking late 19th or very early 20th century. It sends me a Beaux-Arts vibe. And ten bucks is a _steal,_ even with needing to re-mount the glass. 05:05 It looks like fourteen count over one, which is HOURS of stitching. (I know 'cos I've done that kind of thing.) Is the back open where you can see which stitch(es) the artist used? 06:37 _Ribes rubrum_ is the red currant, widely distributed in Europe both in cultivation and feral. The "L." stands for Carl Linnaeus, the "father of modern taxonomy," and it means he was the first to give the plant a Latin binomial name. 07:20 Honestly, I'd still take it, even with the chip. 10:32 Well, after all Pier One didn't _always_ sell crap. It was surprising what they would market to you. 10:41 It's the bottom half of something. 11:04 Calling Dagny! Calling Dagny! Come in, Dagny! 12:09 Restaurant ware had to be able to survive the dish room. Done right, you could bludgeon someone to death with a restaurant ware mug. 14:45 I'd take those two in the front to serve beer in. 15:55 Eddicated guess: it's Noah releasing a dove from the Ark. 17:38 Toner depends _VERY VERY_ much on the model of printer it's intended for. You can do OK with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) toner for relatively modern printers, but if you get into re-manufactured or off-brand, or older printer models, you can end up saddled with white elephants. I'm uncomfortable with these since they openly say "not OEM."
I laughed so hard @12:09. Made me think of how my mom would wish for dinnerware that none of the 6 of us could break. But the way you said it is true. Older restaurant wear really could hold up. 😉
Not only do I learn a lot, but your videos have absolutely saved me during my episodes of anxiety. I appreciate these videos so very much. Thanks bunches!
On the blue art tile, the bottom word might be Ecuador, but I’m not certain. I was hoping it was a Shepard Fairey dove tile! Lol In case you don’t know, Shepard Fairey pieces/art sells for thousands, & even tens of thousands of dollars.
You got some really cute things today...love going round the shelves with you...I'm disabled so dont get out much these days so I live vicariously thru you...thankyou...
Love to go shopping with you. I'm an old lady of 75 and since retirement, I enjoy these places and yard sales, I do DIY and repurpose some items that are antiques. OH! I WAS MARRIED TO A JEWISH MAN FROM HOLAND FOR 20 YRS. THE WORD (NOSH) IS HEBREW FOR SNACK. A JEWISH WORD.
I like the variety that you are willing to pic up and give it a try at least. Like the printing Toner, who knows without trying. And I love your eye for glass, always a win!
I left the amberina glass bowl & green snifter sit there because I just wasn’t sure if it was a good find or not and KNEW you’d end up finding it… LOL… I figured I’d see it in a future video and you’d educate me about it :-p We shop at the same places so I get so tickled watching your Goodwill videos etc. and seeing all the stuff I’ve seen when I was there. I’m always like, OMG, I picked that up too and put it down because of the chip!!! 😂
The word "nosh" is from the Yiddish term, "nashn", which means to nibble or gnaw. The plate with Ribes rubrum written on it is a Red Current - that is it's Latin name.
Learn lots from you! Thank you for picking up the items that are not perfect, it’s imposible not to compare, but your videos by far are more interesting, vs the ladies that pay little and are always stating that if they pay more, they won’t profit from the sale! But you’re living proof of the contrary. I’m sure your continued support make a difference in all the places you visit!👍🏼👏
I was actually in a little I mean little shop in Hagerstown but found some really cool stuff in there I think it was called world treasure and have you ever been on rt 40 east going away from the hospital They have some amazing stain glass lamps for low prices
You find the most excellent GWs, Jocelyn. And I just have to say, you look very well-rested, calm, and happy... which is such a good thing! Happy New Year to you and your family 😁🐆😎🌟💗
Jocelyn has some great videos. She just did a hoarder house with her friends check that series out, they literally pull gold and silver from the dirt. Lol I have learned so much from her, she is a great teacher!! Welcome to THE CLL Club
Love watching you thrift Jocelyn. We've been concentrating on our love of MCM for several years now and I've learned alot outside of that genre/era. Very interested in learning more about the ceramic tile piece @ the end of this video. I've been watching your listings, but have yet to see it post. Have you listed yet?
Really enjoy how you explain the items as you look them over. Grabbed some awesome tidbits. I wish our GW would price something for $1.99 and yours seems to use that number a lot. I feel ours are very overpriced here in our town.
Thanks for letting me tag along! I really appreciate how grounded you are. about your picks and also about the potential profit. A lot of other channels I've noticed can get pretty snobby. As though it's not worth their time for a $40 profit ( just an example) and then will pick up some piece of crap tshirt that I wouldnt even use to wash my car with and then they act like they'll make $100 profit. Mainly I notice it's the guy thrifters that are like that. So again. Thank you! Your approach is refreshing
I love the color of your hair. You look really pretty with light colored. But I think my favorite has to be the bright colors like hot pink, lime green. They make your eyes pop, and sparkle. The dark colors not so much.
Doesn't the wire sticking out of the music box start and stop the music when the lid is opened and closed? At one time I had a jewelry box with the same setup.
Toner is used in laser printers, which are most often used in offices. The cartridges contain a dry powder, unlike ink cartridges that contain liquid ink, and they last much longer. I have no idea what printer those cartridges go to, but I'm sure you will make money on them, plus they're easy to ship. I think you should have bought that framed Marvel poster; anything Marvel should sell well and bring a good price.
I am deciding about 4 fade glass pilsner glasses in good condition marked with an uppercase T in cursive. Badly tarnished. 4 for $3.99. Have googled them several times. Don't know if I should bother. I picked up my daughter an original Dorothy Thorpe reply poly set in it's handled holder in the late 90's before I knew what they were. Maybe i'll go out of my comfort zone and buy them anyway? Great haul, looking forward to your next. P.s. love your hair & makeup. 💗🤗💗
Always love your videos. I find toner can be great finds, but only if they are made by the original manufacturer. Personally I never pick up unbranded toner. Too many end up being defective.
For those that noticed the Anchor Hocking white glass egg plate beside the Plate Jocelyn sat down? I found mine at Goodwill in the original box??!! I wanted for use but will keep it in the box. After approx 50 years why change?
the art piece that has the dove on it and the character with large hands is from Ecuador. It is painted in the artistic likeness of the famous Ecuadorean artist Guayasmin. I lived in Quito for many years and I saw that many local artists have copied his style. It might be worthwhile to research the piece further as it very well could be valuable as many people collect this style of art.
I was just listing a ceramic blue cat and saw one, just like that one you just picked up :-), in the solds, they called it Enesco, but it didn't have a marking.
The dove tile says Ecuador. It’s probably a reproduction, but the hands are very typical of Oswaldo Guayasamín. He is considered one of the most important artists of the country.

Beautiful piece. I always look for beautiful crewel or embroidery pieces
Thank you for posting daily. It’s incredible how much work you put into these videos. I certainly appreciate them And have learned a lot from you. 💓

I just looked him up. It really does, look like his work. Amazing artist.
It’s a tourist tile they sell them at markets in Ecuador . I’m Ecuadorian he is popular for tourist items .
That mirror is a Phoenix bird, and it's freaking spectacular
Love! “ The Nosh Box.”,Orange bowl, green bowl, girl picture very interesting, blue Cat😍, flying pig, Eagle plate, and. Birdhouse trinket box.💜
Oh, my gosh. That needlepoint was fabulous.

So glad to see you pop up when you did. I get tired of resellers putting Goodwill down. Getting disappointed in many of them.
I agree. I've been pretty disappointed myself.
@@CrazyLampLady they have stated how they feel but I don't see where they should keep harping on it.
This is why I follow you. People forget it's a treasure hunt. Thanks for not being a complainer. You are a treat! 😊👍
Thank you for not skipping a beat all through the holidays. That’s a lot of work! I love you trips to collect inventory!!💚💚💚
Not only do I learn a lot, but your videos have absolutely saved me during my episodes of anxiety. I appreciate these videos so very much. Thanks bunches!
Oh boy my favorite Crazy Lamp Lady!!! She is awesome!!!
Thanks, Shirley. :)

Can’t wait to see what the toner goes for on a sold update.
reminded me of "The Auction Professor" who seems able to sell anything under the sun, lol!
The mirror with the eagle is an amazing find with some significant age, good luck to you it’s a great start to the new year
I would love to hear Andrew's reaction to the mirror!!
I left the amberina glass bowl & green snifter sit there because I just wasn’t sure if it was a good find or not and KNEW you’d end up finding it… LOL… I figured I’d see it in a future video and you’d educate me about it :-p

Obsessed with the embroidered picture. Nice finds as usual!
The word "nosh" is from the Yiddish term, "nashn", which means to nibble or gnaw. The plate with Ribes rubrum written on it is a Red Current - that is it's Latin name.
There is a Rae Dunn large dog bowl with Nosh on it.
I like the goodwill videos the best! Thank you
PEACEFUL, joyous, fun, informative!! Thank You, Happy New Year n Good Luck hunting
Look forward to your videos every day. Especially love when you show us what sold. Thank you! You are a delight!

Thank-you, Maria! 🤗
Those are my local Goodwill stores! I always wish I would run into Jocelyn when I'm there.
Thanks for the guesstimate's! Helps me understand your thinking process!
The WPF is (I'm fairly sure) the mark for Williamsburg Pottery Factory. It's not made at the Williamsburg Historical site, but at a local factory.
Jocelyn I love how you will pick up contemporary things to ty for the ride along 🦋🦋
Dagney would love the flying pig! Very cool find!
Enjoyed vicariously thrifting with you today!
Thanks so much!
I think the mirror is your winner
I agree. Possibly Federal.
Wow! I love that cat art piece you found. What a find
I usually never pick up non-OEM toner or ink cartridges. I look for genuine ones with brand names like HP, Brother, or Xerox.
I was actually in a little I mean little shop in Hagerstown but found some really cool stuff in there I think it was called world treasure and have you ever been on rt 40 east going away from the hospital
They have some amazing stain glass lamps for low prices
Gosh, what a Tosh way to Nosh if I were very Posh. And that’s the extent of my super power. Great pieces today
Enjoyed shopping along with you. Happy New Year.
I always learn something from your videos. Wishing you and your family a fun filled, prosperous 2022.
You find the most excellent GWs, Jocelyn. And I just have to say, you look very well-rested, calm, and happy... which is such a good thing! Happy New Year to you and your family 😁🐆😎🌟💗
Make sure you check to see if there is an expiration date because that’s important to people
Just found you! ooohhh my...i feel a new obsession coming on! Love the glass bowl esp!
Jocelyn has some great videos. She just did a hoarder house with her friends check that series out, they literally pull gold and silver from the dirt. Lol I have learned so much from her, she is a great teacher!! Welcome to THE CLL Club
Blue cat I bought from Pier One about 40 years ago
Thank you, Jocelyn, for another informative video!
When I hear nosh it is om nom nom in my head. Just sharing.
Love watching you thrift Jocelyn. We've been concentrating on our love of MCM for several years now and I've learned alot outside of that genre/era. Lots of cool finds, hope you and your family had a great Christmas and New year❤️❤️❤️
In the bible when Noah was in the ark he let go of a pigeon to see if land was close and the pigeon return with an 🫒 stem In his beak.
Really enjoy how you explain the items as you look them over. Grabbed some awesome tidbits. I wish our GW would price something for $1.99 and yours seems to use that number a lot. I feel ours are very overpriced here in our town.
Nosh means “to eat food enthusiastically” in British English. Ha! We have a restaurant here called Nosh & Grog
The relish dish with the silver is Imperial Crystal Candlewick Pattern.
I love. Thrift shopping. I found a laser hair removal for 12 dollars and it worth even used up to 400 dollars
The Hulk pic was pretty cool!
So happy you have been posting daily. So many ppl. have went ghost through the holidays. It's over ppl. well at least for most ppl.
Love that dove piece. Reminds me of “open hands” in prayer. :)
The needlepoint had a cat and a bird on it! Great finds!
The 70s floral light fixture cover at 12:20 would go for around $50 BIN...it's AMAZING!!! 😱😱😱 @MissSallyScrippage
Thanks for letting me tag along! I really appreciate how grounded you are. about your picks and also about the potential profit. A lot of other channels I've noticed can get pretty snobby. I had the blue cat in the late 80s. Loved him!
Love the red bowl. Great buy.
My Goodwill is mostly clothes. It is rarely worth the time to drive there. You have a great eye; good for you.
Good luck with the toner, I think you will do well. Love that tile~~~~~~~~~~~~~
LOVE your hair!!
OMG 🤯😳🤯
I loved that Hulk frame.... Wish it was at my GW
I love the color of your hair. You look really pretty with light colored. But I think my favorite has to be the bright colors like hot pink, lime green. They make your eyes pop, and sparkle. The dark colors not so much.
Hi Jocelyn. Live the blue cat and the little bird house trinket box.
Great finds ❤️ I’m interested in the cat lady needlepoint
Great video. I really enjoy watching when you talk through your thought process. Thank you.
Doesn't the wire sticking out of the music box start and stop the music when the lid is opened and closed? At one time I had a jewelry box with the same setup.
Yes, but I don’t think it’s usually so crude looking.
Nosh means “to eat food enthusiastically”. Haha. We have a restaurant here called Nosh & Grog
It’s good to go out of your comfort zone from time to time ❤️
What a cool mix. I always love your Goodwill videos
I have a bud vase exactly like the two you have recently purchased but mine is with a bird in a pear tree on it. It’s Takahashi.
I enjoyed the vlog.
The needle point frame is so beautiful.

The one you haven't gone to in 2 years had some treasures! Nice job.
The blue cat is similar to exactly like the one I bought at the Christmas Tree Shop (Falmouth, Mass) about 25 -30 years ago. I paid about $9.99.
Here’s to a prosperous 2022 Jocelyn!
CLL, what was the three names of the bubbles on clear glass pieces? The gentleman you visited and told you told the names?
I have the blue sponge cat, last time I looked at value, it was running around $30-$40 on eBay.
Absolute score on the needlepoint.
Happy New Year Jocelyn to you & your team. Thank you for the great videos as always. I truly enjoyed all the horader house videos 😊
I have a question how are you able to see sold comps on eBay I have not learned that trick can you please teach that or share that.
Make sure toner is new, sometimes when box is open and plastic open that is used.
Pier 1 had alot of Italian ceramics back in the early 90s
The Santa bowl was adorable
The band is wide on dorothy Thorpe?
I wonder if you could "google lens" the signature?
For those that noticed the Anchor Hocking white glass egg plate beside the Plate Jocelyn sat down? I found mine at Goodwill in the original box??!! I wanted for use but will keep it in the box. After approx 50 years why change?

I’ve gotten some really awesome pieces from the Mechanicsburg GW recently after months of absolutely nothing there.
I was just listing a ceramic blue cat and saw one, just like that one you just picked up :-), in the solds, they called it Enesco, but it didn't have a marking.
Thanks for shopping! I enjoyed your video.
Happy New Year. I’m excited to see how your business grows this year
