Damn what a game. Brunson carrying this Knicks team to the very end and just fell short from two crucial shots. It's crazy that he has to be BOTH the primary ball handler and the finisher of games because no one else can in this team.

I been following the NBA for 42 years now (equally the Knicks) and I've seen a lot of players and situations over the years. I will tell you why the Knicks are just missing wins lately.
It's because they refuse to start Obi Topin. Grimes, Fournier and Cam are getting all the starting minutes with subpar numbers, and Obi? He's consistently brought off of the bench. I'm starting to see his enthusiasm leave him.
Now I'll tell you specifically why the Knicks should start Obi. He's an offensive weapon who can put up a lot of points if given big minutes.
Why do I bring this up? We have to weigh the fact that the Knicks cannot play defense worth more than a bucket of soap. With that said what the Knicks should be doing instead is adding offensive to the line-up.
How do we do that? Simple!
Move RJ to the SG position and insert Obi into the SF position.
C - Robinson
PF - Randall
SF - Obi
SG - RJ
PG - Brunson
If Knicks management would pull their thumbs out of their butts then they would realize that we need more offense. The defense is not there.
We lost within 4 point to the Trail Blazers, Grizzlies and Nuggets. The Knicks could easily be (should be) 12-8 right now if they would just add more offense to the line-up. Obi should be starting.
