I really love this cover for Deep Cover. It's my 2nd favorite song (1st is Undercover and I have a real bias going on here LMAO) and the reason why is because of how powerful and creative the lyrics are. When I read the official lyrics of Deep Cover, I have a feeling there are some mistranslations along the way, similar to a few songs in MILGRAM that does that. Sometimes, I rely on fan translations to understand the gist of the song, as it can mislead me into unveiling the true message of the song. One of these translations came from your interpretation of the song. I really love how you transcribe and translate the lyrics. It correlates to Kotoko's conflicting moral views. She might've be scared of what she had become, yet she still continues down that path. It shows her moral greyness and those that don't get the hints would misinterpret the tone and lyrics. Aka, seeing Kotoko as purely evil, when she isn't in the first place. I knew there's something up with the official lyrics, because of how confusing it is to understand. However, I still appreciate the official, as it does minor references of the prisoner's songs (when you directly translate those parts in the lyrics, it meant something completely different). I still really love your cover of the song the most, as you're able to portray Kotoko greatly. I honestly think you're a great fit for Kotoko's English voice, so you hit the park with this cover. Your lyrics are great and I hope it will shed new light into Kotoko's characterization. Keep up the great work!

Yeah someone else said the wan wan thing which I didn’t really think about but now I think it’s really funny! I just did it that way because it didn’t flow for me to try and fit in “eleven” and the way you say eleven in Japanese is “ten one”, which would make no sense in English so that’s why I went with one one, but the fact that it’s now also wan wan is amazing haha
